The Renewal Life Christian Center is an apostolic and teaching ministry led by Apostle Peterson O. Abun. They focus on revealing Christ through teachings and demonstrations of His power. The center emphasizes the importance of understanding one's calling and fulfilling their purpose in life. In this message, they discuss the calling of God and its significance. They emphasize that fulfilling one's calling is like embarking on a mission and that it is important to align one's relationships and choices with their calling. They also mention the consequences of not fulfilling one's calling and the need to take it seriously. The Renewal Life Christian Center is an apostolic and teaching ministry that anchors on revealing Christ and Him crucified through expository teachings and the manifestations of the power of Christ. It is generally coordinated by Apostle Peterson O. Abun. Hallelujah. I welcome you all back to a special meeting and seminar. I'm believing God that God has already started communicating to some of us already of the things that we need to understand in respect to the calling of God. My prayer is that we have understanding about this thing called ministry or this issue of calling. There are a lot of people that keep running up and down saying that God has called me, God has called me and they do not have understanding about their calling and it has destroyed their lives and it has given them not the conviction to continue in that which God has called them. In case you have not listened to the part 1 of the message, please get the part 1 of this message. This is the part 2, the part 2 and the final message in this series. We are coming back to the calling of God and I pray God will speak to every heart in Jesus' name. Let us go to the Lord in prayer, just bow your head down in prayer and where you are sitting down, just ask God to speak to your heart. Where you are sitting down, just ask God to speak to your heart. I know He has spoken to you through the part 1 of the message. I am coming now to the part 2 of this message. Ask Him to speak to your heart. Ask Him to speak to your heart. Father, we ask you, open our hearts. Open the hearts of the ministers here. Open the hearts of the workers. Open the hearts of the members. Open the hearts of those you have called into the ministry. Those you have called into business or businesses and those you have called into the medical field. Father, we pray that your calling upon our lives should be lightened that we might see, that we may run with the vision in the name of Jesus. Father, we pray that you bless us at this moment. Open our eyes of understanding to be able to comprehend everything that you will be communicating to us about in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father, because you are faithful. For in Jesus' mighty name I pray. You are welcome once again to this special seminar, special program. We will be continuing on our topic. In our last discussion we talked about the calling of God and then we are coming back in continuation. Remember that the other time I told you that that was the part 1 of the message. We are coming now to the part 2 of the message, the calling of God. In the part 1 I made known to you that the calling of God is God's revelation that enables a believer to discover his or her life purpose. The calling of God is your life-giving purpose. Or we can say it is your God-given purpose. So anytime we talk about the calling of God, we are talking about the thing God has made you for. The thing he has created you to fulfill. So the calling of God is the thing that God has created you to fulfill. The thing that is the mandate. The thing that is the passion, the mandate, the evaluation, the commission that you must fulfill. The thing that you should embark on a mission on. You don't just go for a mission. If I ask you what is your life mission now, you may not know what is your life mission. But your calling should be your life mission. Your calling should be your life mission. As you are responding to the calling of God, you are embarking on a mission for that vision. Without a vision, there won't be need for a mission. So you embark on a mission because there is already a vision from God. And the vision from God is what we call the heavenly calling or your calling from God. And I also reveal to you people that the calling of God is also known as life purpose. It is otherwise known as your life purpose or your life-giving purpose. The calling of God is also known as your life assignment. The assignment that God has given to you to fulfill on earth is the calling of God, your life assignment. So you have to take it as a responsibility to fulfill. You have to embark on that assignment with the whole of your spirit, soul, and body. Remember that that which God has called you for will be that which God will reward you for. So if God has called you for a special assignment, a particular assignment, it means that at the end of your life on earth, God will reward you according to the assignment He has given to you and you will be judged if you fulfill it or not. If you never do the assignment, you will be judged by God. Remember those days when we were in school? Most especially in secondary school. You know, every of the classes we are being given assignments. Every of the classes we are being given assignments. If you have children, you can ask your children to go through their books. Primary schools, secondary schools, or even those in higher institutions. At the end of every of the classes, your lecturers may give you assignments. Now, do some of those assignments, or if not all of the assignments, if you do not do your assignment, you do not carry out your assignment, it may affect your grade. It may affect your grade in the higher institutions. It may affect your GP. In secondary school, if you do not carry out the assignment, sometimes in primary school, in secondary school, your teacher or your tutors may even discipline you for the disobedience. So, I remember many years ago, there were some assignments I didn't do, and I remember my tutor, how he dealt with me. My mathematics tutor then, he dealt with me. So, have this understanding, that if you do not fulfill your life assignment, you will be judged at the end of your life. So, God will not judge you concerning things He has never called you for. He will not judge you on things He has not called you for. He will judge you on things He has assigned to you, and you didn't do. And He is going to reward you for things He has assigned for you, and you did. And I also made note to you in our last class, that the calling of God is also known as the heavenly vision. And this was the statement that Paul the Apostle used, that he was not disobedient. He was not disobedient. He was not. Mark that word. I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision. He was talking about the calling that God gave to him. He was not disobedient. See, let me say this to you here. If the devil is to fight against you, one of the things the devil will fight so desperately to stop you, is to stop you from fulfilling your assignment. I tell you the truth. The devil may not have issues having you working in an organization, as long as God didn't call you for that. The devil may not even have issues having you traveling from country to country, as long as God didn't call you for that. The moment you discover your life purpose, and you discover the assignment of God for your life, the devil will start fighting to make sure that you never fulfill the assignment of God. The devil will start fighting to make sure that you never fulfill the assignment of God. That is why your assignment, or your purpose in life, should determine the kind of man or woman you should get married to. Because if you marry wrong, what will be attacked is your assignment. What will be attacked majorly is your assignment. Because that is what the devil wants. He wants to make sure that he disaligns you from the God given assignment. Your friends, you should choose your friends according to your vision. According to your assignment. If God has called you into ministry, into the pushing of the gospel, you can't just be a friend of a man that is passionate after career, and he has a very low interest for any ministry. What is he going to communicate to you? It can be a friend, but it should not be your inner cycle friend. Your inner cycle friend should be friends that motivates and encourages you into fulfilling your calling. Fulfilling that which God has called you for. So you are marrying a man because you have defined your calling. You have discovered the calling of God for your life. And if God has called you as a sister into a ministry, or into business, and you have a strong desire to be an international business woman, traveling from nation to nation for business conferences and all of those. And then you eventually marry a man that has low interest for anything business, and do not have the desire to permit his wife traveling up and down for any business conferences or business seminars. Then you must understand that that man is not... It doesn't mean that the man is a bad man, just that he is not aligned. He is not the right person. He may be a good person, but not the right person. So also to the man, God has called you into ministry to be a pastor, and yet there is a woman that never loved anything called ministry. In fact, she has said to herself and she has vowed never to be a pastor, or never to assist the pastor, or never to be committed to any church. And then you marry a woman, and as a pastor's wife, it is mandated that every day you must do something that moves the ministry. Either you are praying with your wife, you are fasting together, you are going out for evangelism and follow-up, and this woman does not have the desire. She doesn't like follow-up. She just wants to be in there. Then you should... In the place of courtship, you should define a purpose and then compare it with your God-given assignment. Don't know if both of you are aligned. The calling of God. You must guide your calling with all seriousness. You must guide your calling. As we read through the scripture, we discover that calling can be transferred. God can take away your calling from you if you fail to fulfill it, or if you fail to do it in the way of God. So don't think that God has called you and there because God has called you. The Bible says the calling of God is without repentance. He can give your calling to anybody. That doesn't mean that the gift may not be there. You can see the aroma of the calling with you, but you are not in the office again. So we discover that even King Saul, his office was passed down to King David. Although he was still on the throne, but rejected by God before he died. And then you check the person of Judah Iscariot. His ministry was given to Matthias after he committed suicide. His ministry was given to Matthias. Another man had to take his ministry. So you may think that, well, my ministry is my ministry. No, if you don't pursue your ministry and you keep giving God procrastination, you keep procrastinating or you start saying that, God, I will fulfill it when I'm 70 years of age. Let me use my young age now to enjoy life. Before you even reach the age of 70, God may have given to another person. And all you'll be living with is just the ashes. It's just the ashes. So when God calls you, it's a very serious calling. It's a higher calling. It's a heavenly calling. You must guide it with all seriousness. You must pursue it passionately. You must pursue your calling passionately to make sure that you fulfill your calling. Pursue your calling passionately to make sure that you fulfill your calling. It is very important. Don't trade it for silver nor gold. Don't trade it for sin. Even if you have issues with sin, it shouldn't stop you from pursuing that calling. Quickly go and repent. Turn away from sin and start pursuing it. When you fall, while pursuing it, stand up and keep pursuing it. It is it that endures to the end shall be saved. It is not the man that keeps giving excuses and say, I have personal challenges, and you start focusing on your challenges. At the same time, you start focusing on your challenges and you start giving reasons why you can't pursue the calling of God. Let me even say this to every one of you. The situation of your financial life or your marital life shouldn't quench your passion to pursue your calling. And that is why in this part two, you are going to hear some certain words that will carve your mind and carve your understanding concerning the calling of God. So the first thing I want to tell you now is the calling of God, number one, is personal. The calling of God is personal. When God calls you, He is dealing with you as a person. If God calls you, it doesn't mean that He has called your wife. If God calls you, it doesn't mean that He has called your husband. If God calls you, it doesn't mean that He is calling your children. If God calls your children, it doesn't mean that He calls your wife alongside. So the calling of God is personal. And because it is personal, that is why you have to pursue it with passion. Don't trade it for anything. There should be no family barrier to this. This is my calling. It is the purpose. God has told me the purpose He created me. And this is what I am pursuing. Daddy, this is what I am pursuing. I remember many years ago, many, many years ago, 2009, 2008, when I was about to respond to the calling of God as a street evangelist. You know, I started from pushing on the street in the night and in the day. In Nigeria, we call it money call. For the sake of those listening to me online, we call it money cry. Money cry is early hour of the day you will see a believer with megaphone going and pushing. That was when I started. I pushed 2008 with megaphone. 2009, sorry, I started pushing from 2009. Before 2009, I was pushing with my mouth. Before 2010, when I started using my megaphone, I was initially using my mouth. Are you with me? There was no megaphone. I was just pushing loud with my voice. In 2010, I started using megaphone with a friend of mine. There is a friend of mine. He is in Uganda. He is a very good friend. We have been friends for years. We started pushing. I was a street pusher or pushing on the street from 2009, 10, 11, 12, 13, 2014, and 2015. In 2015, I had to leave Delta State, leave Wari City, and I went to Kuki State. Now, all these years I was pushing in the morning, I was responding to the calling of God because at the point I got born again, my salvation was so much full of a canter. When I got born again, I started hearing the voice of God. I started having revelation. In fact, in 2009, 2011, I had a vision where I first saw an angel of God in the church I was in. So, I knew that God has chosen me and God is going to use me. I knew there was a weakness in my spirit that He would use me. So, I made my calling personal. Let me explain to you what I mean by personal. When I started pursuing my calling, families were not connected to me because my family were not born again. So, my family gave me a distance because my life was totally different from theirs. And every time they came close to me, I was forgetting them of sin. So, their withdrawal from me didn't stop me, didn't disconnect my passion for pursuing Christ. In fact, I made a covenant with God that nothing would separate me from the calling. Nothing. I would rather lose a friend, lose anybody than be separated. It was a many years covenant, an agreement with God. So, it is personal. You must make it personal. Your calling is personal. It is not a general calling. It is not a calling that comes to you and comes to your friend. When you start pursuing your calling, you will definitely lose people because it is personal. The day you decide to start pursuing your calling, you will lose a lot of people. You will lose a lot of friends. You will lose a lot of friends. You will lose a lot of friends. You will lose a lot of family members, relatives. Because the day you discover your calling and you start pursuing your calling is the day you have decided to be different from people. So, definitely your calling will disconnect you from the wrong people. And when you keep pursuing your calling, it will reconnect you to the right people. So, the calling of God on your life is personal. Take it very serious. Value it. Emphasize it. Talk about it. Remember I told you that you may be called to start a project or you may be called to continue a project or you may be called to assist a project. So, there are those that God has called to start a church, start a ministry, start a movement. And there are others that God calls to take over from those that started it. And there are those that God calls to support those that started it. If God is calling you to support a man of God, there will be clear revelation, conviction. Clear revelation and conviction concerning that. If God is calling you to take over from a minister, maybe an aged minister that will soon depart from the earth, you will know. You will start having a glimpse of revelation. And the minister himself will start having revelation of confirmation concerning you. And if you are called to start a ministry, to start a new work, you will know. It will give you clear information, clear message on where to start it and what to do about it. So, the calling of God is personal number one. Number two, the calling of God on your life is unique. The calling of God on your life is unique. It distinguishes you. So, because you have been called by God, you are totally different from people. It makes you to become outstanding because you stand out. The calling of God in your life or the calling of God on your life makes you unique. So, don't ever think that God is calling you to suffer. It is a privileged calling. It has a lot of advantages. It has a lot of advantages. If you can respond to the calling of God, there are a lot of advantages. Advantages connected to it. You will be protected. There will be spiritual security, divine security. The calling of God. It is unique. So, today when we talk about the calling of God, people reject it. They say, I don't want to be broke pastor. I don't want to suffer. Why are you rejecting the highest calling? Imagine if the governor of your state, the president of your country, call you to come and do something in the government house or in the presidential lodge. You want to take it with all privilege to go and do it? Now, he that is greater than the governor, he that is greater than the president has given you a calling. Yet, you are mourning about it. You are saying that it is a call to suffering. The calling of God is unique. The calling of God is divine. It is not human. It is divine. And I will emphasize more on this divinity. The calling of God is divine. It means that what the apostles said, they confine not with flesh and blood. The calling of God is not flesh and blood business. So, you can't do it with flesh and blood. The calling of God is divine, meaning that it is spiritual. Therefore, you need to be spiritual to fulfill it. The calling of God is divine. Therefore, many things about it will be, will confound the understanding of the flesh and blood. So, flesh and blood will not always understand the things about your calling, the divinity of your calling. Flesh and blood will not always permit and accept and agree with you. The moment you start responding to your calling, or you start, you enter your calling, many a times, flesh and blood will oppose you. Flesh and blood doesn't mean that they are demonic. They are just human. Humans will always oppose the things of the spirit. The Bible says that the things of the spirit are foolishness to the natural man. So, when you decide to obey, to respond to the calling of God, don't be surprised that your father may stand up against you. Don't be surprised that your mother may stand up against you, when you have decided to respond to the calling of God. Don't be surprised that your relative may stand up against you. Don't be surprised that your husband may stand up against you. Except your husband is in the spirit, he will always oppose you. Don't be surprised that your wife will become a strategy to destroy you, except she is in the spirit. And don't be surprised that your children may not even follow you. Don't be surprised that people may call you foolish. People may say you are not wise. There is no wisdom in you by obeying God. Because this is a calling that the natural mind cannot understand. Imagine Peter, who was a fisherman, receiving the calling of Jesus, abandoned his work, his occupation. A married man, probably with children or two, he abandoned his occupation and became a full-time follower of Jesus. That is foolishness to the natural mind. It was foolishness. If at a time came Peter was telling Jesus, He said, we have left all and followed you. What shall be our reward? That means they actually left all. They actually left all. So, your calling is divine. Don't expect everyone to support you. Don't expect everyone to accredit you. Don't expect everyone to say, oh, we believe, we understand you. Not every man will understand you in this calling. Even in the work of God you are doing, not every man will understand you. Inside your church, among your workers, among the leaders, there are many times that not every one of them will understand you. Remember that your calling is unique. Your calling is divine. Your calling is divine. Understand that. So, because it is divine, you do not seek the permission or the understanding of every man. Many a time they will not understand you when you are taking decisions. You do not beg for the understanding. As far as you are dealing business with the Spirit, even if they are not in the Spirit, they can't capture what God is saying or what God is doing or what God is trying to do. When you use the natural mind to follow divinity, you are going to enter into catastrophic events or issues. You are the man that God has called. You are the man that God has called. You are the man God has given the heavenly vision. You can suggest to them what is not clear to you. You can call the spiritual ones and pray about it. But never you try to seek counsel from natural minded people. They will give you counsel and fight against the divine willings of God. And when you are assisting the pastor, God has called you to assist the pastor. And the pastor is working in a way you don't understand. The highest you can do is to pray. Because even when God is later than man likes, you will not still understand. Many a times we obey before we understand. We don't understand before we obey. I tell you the truth. Even in ministry, many a times it is after I obey what God is telling me to do, before I will later understand why he told me to do it. So if you are waiting to understand first before you obey, you will not work with God so fast. And another thing I want to make known to you is that there is calling and there is sending. There is calling and there is sending. When God has called you, he will train you, he will prepare you before he will send you. When God has called you, he will train you, he will prepare you before he will send you. God will not send you if he has not prepared you. So God is so intentional about your sources. If God wants you to be successful in ministry, more than the way you desire the sources. So that is why you must not rush it. When God is calling you, he will not give you a full description of your calling. Are you getting me now? So there is a period of calling and there is a time for sending. When he has called you, you have to go through the dealings. You have to go through the training. You have to go through the preparation before he will send you. Everyone he called in the Bible, it was not the same time he called them that he sent them. Even the disciples, they were called. After three and a half years they were sent. Go into all the world and preach the gospel. Moses was called and after 40 years he was sent. Abraham was called and after a few years he was asked to leave and to go to a land. Remember it was not that the same day Abraham received the calling. He had initially received the calling. It was his father initially that received the calling. His father did not respond to the calling of God and he died a natural death. And then Abraham received the calling and later later God came back to him and said, Okay, you can leave now. So God always takes time to prepare the hearts of the people he has called. So in this part two, before we wind up, we will be looking at the life or the calling of Jonah and the calling of Paul the Apostle. We are going to close this seminar with this. We will be looking at the calling of Jonah and the calling of Paul the Apostle. Let us open our Bible to the book of Jonah chapter one. It is very important this. There is a lesson that I want you to learn. Jonah chapter one. Jonah chapter one. Jonah chapter one please. I want everyone of you to open your Bible. Jonah chapter one. We want to examine the calling of Jonah and then use it for our edification. I read from verse one to verse three. Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah, the son of Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it, for their wickedness is come up before me. But Jonah was up to flee unto Tachi from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa, and he found a ship going to Tachi. So he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it to go with them unto Tachi from the presence of the Lord. Now you see the word there, the presence of the Lord. The presence of the Lord is always with obedience. So assuming Jonah responded and obeyed, we wouldn't have read that he left the presence of God. We would have read that he went in the presence of God. So the presence of God is a position of obedience. So every time you are in the obedience, in the will of God, you are in the presence of God. So the presence of God is always with the will of God. But every time you disobey, or you decide not to do the will of God, you decide not to obey God, it means that you have come out from the presence of God. Okay, let us go back to verse 2. Arise. Arise, that is the calling. Arise, that is the calling. The calling. That is the calling. If God has called you, like Jonah, what he is saying to you is, arise. Maybe you have been sleeping. Maybe you have been pursuing things that don't even have eternal values. And now, God has come to you and said, arise. He is saying, brother Tywo, arise. It means that what brother Tywo is doing at that time, it was in one place. You know when they say you should arise, it means that you were not moving. You can be busy on earth and yet not moving in the spirit. And until God comes to you and says, arise, you will not know that you were not moving. That God comes to this sister and says, sister, arise. It means that what the sister has been doing initially has never moved her in her journey of destiny. She has been stagnant, or she has been making money from that business, but that is not her calling. So God will come to you and say, arise. Jonah was not a beggar. Jonah was a responsible man. But when the calling came, he comes to realign you with your purpose. And God said, Jonah, arise. Arise from the nature of sinful addiction. Because if you are not busy in the calling and the purpose of God, you will be tied down with sin. You will be busy with iniquity. So God is coming to somebody now and is saying, arise from that yoke, that shame of sickness, of fornication, of drunkenness, of sin. Arise. Go to Nineveh. Go to Nineveh. Number one is the calling. Number two is the location. Number two is the location. God has called you, that is okay. You have been singing, you have been talking about it, you have been going on social media. I am called, I am called, I am called, I am called. I am a called pastor. I am a called apostle. I am a called apostle doctor. I am a called apostle doctor. That is okay. It is a common statement in the Christendom among zealous believers. God has called you. Has God given you location? Go to Nineveh. The location might be a place for those that God is calling to start a new walk. Or it might be a person. God may say, go to Apostle Peterson. Go to Pastor so and so. Go to, so arise and go there. Go to this church. God may give you the name of a church in replacement of that place. Go to a church. So, arise and go to Nineveh. So, the calling of Jonah, number one, was personal. Arise. Number two was instructive. Go. Was instructive. Go to Nineveh. And cry against it. What was the message of Jonah? Cry against it. So, God never told Jonah to go to Nineveh to go and teach prosperity. God just told Jonah. You say you are calling to Nineveh. Just keep crying about them. Crying to them to repent. Cry against the city. Poor at judgment. Tell them that I am going to destroy their city. Jonah, do not teach them about financial freedom. Do not teach them about freedom from sin. Do not teach them about how they can experience sanctification. Go and just tell them that they are sinners and they should repent. Just go and tell them. This is your only message. It is just the message of repentance. The message of judgment and repentance. So, we discover here that Jonah had his own message. Yes. Every man of God that God has called has their own message. God has given this ministry, this mandate, we have our message. We are called to teach about Christ and Him crucified. That is our calling. That is why every time you pick our messages, go to Telegram to download our messages. Forget about the instruments we were using, the recording instrument that was not too clear. If you can listen, our message is all centered on Christ's likeness. How to crucify the flesh and how to live a life pleasing to the Lord. That is the commission that God has given to this mandate. The mandate God has given to this ministry. Cry against it. You are not called to preach every message. You are called to preach just the message God has given to you. You will find grace in teaching only in that message God has given to you. In that ministry God has committed into your heart. If God has called you to teach on faith, you will discover that you will have a greater grace to communicate faith. And every time you are teaching faith, the heart of men will be building up and their faith will be growing up. Than when you are teaching on prosperity. Because you are not wired. See, God doesn't want you to be a self-centered preacher that can do everything. That is why He gave five food ministries. So that we can in turn depend on one another. I depend on you, you depend on me. I depend on the prophets, the prophets depend on the apostles, the apostles depend on... We depend on one another. Interdependence. Go to Nineveh. Arise the calling. Go to Nineveh. It is the location. And cry against it. That is the message. Cry against it. Jonah received a complete preparation. For his calling. For his ministry. Many a times, we receive the calling. But many a times, a lot of believers do not have the patience to wait for the location. Where we are doing ministry today in Ikurudu. Even if we leave Ikurudu tomorrow. Where we are doing ministry here in Agbede, Ikurudu. I received the calling to ministry on the 25th of July, 2015. That was where I heard the audible voice in my room. It was Saturday morning, sanitation day in Wori. No. 8 Okao Street, Wori. It was Saturday morning. I was preparing for morning cry to go and push in the morning. And eventually, rain started falling. So I decided to just lie down on my rug. I rugged my house. My one room apartment. So I lied down and I was looking up, looking at the front. And then I closed my eyes. That was how I suddenly heard the audible voice of God called me. Now, the calling of God was so clear that I cannot deny the fact. Because there is a difference between you having a dream revelation. And you hearing an audible voice like a friend speaks to you. I heard him. I didn't say I dreamt about the calling. I heard his audible voice. But you would have, in that dream, sorry, in that encounter. The voice of God came to me and told me I should go and do his work. He said I should go and do his work in that calling. Part of the instruction he gave to me was go and do my work. You would think that that was an immediate information. But because I had to study the scripture to understand how to go about it. I started praying for location. I prayed for location from 2015. 2016, I was still waiting. 2017, I was still waiting. 2018, I was still waiting. I was still waiting. Praying, trusting, preparing, serving in churches. I was serving in churches. 2019, January 28, 2019. Why I decided to go and spend time with God alone. That was how eventually I saw an old man on white in that room. While I was on dry fasting. I was supposed to be on three days dry fasting. And that was how I saw this old man on white. And the old man told me. And he said, the name of the place is called Agbede. That means the name of the place of my assignment is called Agbede. And I woke up. I received the calling of God July 25, 2015. I received the location for the assignment January 28, 2019. Then I received this sending. That means I have received the calling. I have received the location. I have received the message. In fact, the message was one of the first things I got. I think before I got the encounter of what I should put. Before I got the encounter of my calling. So before the 25th of July, I have received the message God has given to me. It was a clear message. The first thing I received was the message that God has given to me to push. But after then, the second encounter I had was my calling. The third was the location. After the location, I received the sending, the permission to go on April 2020. That was the beginning of the COVID-19 saga. COVID-19 virus that went throughout the whole world. That was April. So that was when I received the permission, the sending. That was when I received the sending. So understand that you don't just rush out. I received the sending. I received the sending. And 2021, June 2021, June 3rd, I came down to Lagos State, Agbede, to start the work. So the ministry began, the fellowship we were running began July 10th, 2021. Understand that when you receive the calling of God, you must patiently wait for the location. And you must patiently wait for the message. Get your message. You are not called to push every message. People may criticize you when you start pushing the message God has given to you. Remember I said that humans will not always understand the things of the spirit. What men don't understand, they criticize. And what they understand, they destroy. So it is better they criticize than destroy. So don't explain to everybody. Are we together here? I believe you are getting it now. So that is the calling of Jonah. From the calling of Jonah, we have come to understand that the calling of Jonah goes with a place of the assignment, which is the location of the assignment, and the message to communicate in that location. Lastly, let us go to the person of Apostle Paul, because I want to wind up now. Sorry for taking much time. Apostle Paul, let us go to the book of Acts chapter 9, 15 to 16. Acts chapter 9, verse 15 to verse 16. Acts chapter 9, verse 15 to 16. And then we will go to chapter 22. Oh my God. Oh my God. Verse 15. But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way. That is God speaking to Ananias now. For it is a shooting vessel unto me to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel. For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake. How great things he must suffer for my name's sake. If we go to chapter 22, verse 21. 22, verse 21. The Bible says, Acts 22, verse 21. And he said unto me, Depart, for I will send thee far ends unto the Gentiles. When you study the life of Paul the Apostle, on his way to Damascus, he received his calling. On his way to Damascus, he received his calling. And as well, he received the location. He received his calling, he received the location. What location? The Gentiles. So from the very first day he was called, he was given the location. But you see, he needed to be sent, because you can receive the three. And if God have not asked you to go now, you may go and destroy your life. So he had to go and submit unto the church. Let us go to Acts chapter 13. Acts chapter 13. Paul submitted to the church, that is why he received a calling. Acts chapter 13. Now they were in the church that was at Antioch, setting prophets and teachers, as Barnabas and Simeon, that was called Nije, and Luxius of Cyrene, and Manin, which had been brought up with Herod, the Tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. Christ had initially called them, but they needed to serve, because without preparation, without serving in the church, without submitting to a man of God first, you would not know many things in ministry. So God allowed them to serve for some years. And after he started serving, God eventually came back and spoke to the prophet, to the leadership of the church, that he has called Paul initially, so they should allow him to do the ministry which he has called. You would think that after the announcement came here and Paul was ordained, you would think that Paul immediately started ministry. If you read the book of Galatians, Paul said that after he was ordained, immediately he went to Arabia and Paul spent three years in Arabia. What did he go to do in Arabia? Geologically, when I was studying about it, I was told geologically from a commentary that Arabia that Paul went to was the same man Sinai that Moses encountered. So Paul had to go and spend three years in Arabia, not starting a ministry, not organizing deliverance service. In fact, when he went to Arabia, nobody knew him to be a man called by God. He just went there, he was seeking the face of God. All he was doing was praying, meditation, praying, meditation, spiritually preparing for the assignment. And it was in Arabia, he began to add a cantor with God. That was why if you read Paul the Apostle testimonies or the epistles, there were times he was saying that the things he was teaching them, that he didn't learn it from any man, that it was a mystery that Christ revealed to him. It was in Arabia that he had a lot of cantors that really carved his messages. You need to prepare, where are you rushing to? You are thinking of quitting that church, where are you rushing to? Do you think ministry is just a thing you just start and after two years see, the ecstasy that is pushing you to start ministry, is the picture and the photos of these men of God that are on Facebook. The way God has blessed them and they are always snapping photos when they are preaching and they are posting their video when people are falling under anointing. These are the things motivating you that is making you not to become obedient to your pastor. The church you are serving, you are becoming stubborn, you are becoming disloyal because there is a social media pastor that is IPing you. If you don't submit, you will start and after three months you will quench down. Submit. Paul the Apostle, despite the fact that he submitted to the church in Antioch, he still eventually went to spend three years. That was why he did ministry until the age of eighty something. If you want to go far, let your foundation be very strong. Paul did ministry until the age of eighty something. He was martyred, he was killed at the age of eighty. It was already eighty something, above eighty years before he was killed. He did ministry for so many years because he laid a very solid foundation. Just the way the disciples spent three and a half years to build their foundation, Paul spent three years with Jesus. That was why although he was not among the twelve, yet he was even greater than all the twelve. Because the same Jesus that discipled the twelve, was the same Jesus that discipled him on the mount. When he went to Arabia. Submit. God has given you a pastor who is teaching you the word. By the grace of God I am teaching you the word. Submit. We can do it together. You are not able to define your calling. Are you called to work with me? Or are you called to establish your own ministry? Even when you are serving your church, where you are serving, not my ministry in your church. Even if you are serving them. See, never you live without the blessing of your pastor. You see this place? Paul was ordained by the prophet and the teachers in Antioch's church. They prayed for him. Many of you left without the prayer of your pastor. I almost made that mistake. When I went to Coogee State. I did ministry and God asked me to close down the ministry. And then I joined another church and eventually I became a minister in that church. And when I came back to Coogee. My father in the Lord there. Something was telling me not to be going to that church again. Because there was one or two things that happened. But the spirit of God kept telling me. Go and collect the blessings of your father. When I went there. Because he had not seen me for about two to three years. When he saw me he said, Ah, my son. I learned that you are now a missionary. I said, yes sir. And he began to pray for me. I was standing. He was on the altar after the end of the service. And I was. I just knelt down and he was praying for me. And he prayed for me. I received the blessing. Don't just jump into ministry. Ministry is deeper. See we are not. I am not doing ministry because I want to blow. You know what is hyping you? It is social media pastor with the articulated conversation. You know when a pastor can articulate words? Eh? He knows how to talk very well when he is preaching. And then he has a very good sounding speaker. And he has a very good background and platform. When he starts preaching. Even you will be tempted to follow. So those things are the things hyping you. That makes you not to listen to your pastor in that local church. In the church in your village. The calling of God is beyond blowing. We are not in the ministry to blow. If God decides to say that I am not going to be known all over the world. In my little corner where God has made me known. I will preach the word effectively. Because we will be rewarded not according to how popular we are. We will be rewarded according to our faithfulness to service. The calling of God. Let me stop here. But you know one of the prayers we are going to pray is God walk on my heart. Your heart has a problem. That is why the last time you heard the voice of God was the last time he called you. He has never given you proceeding instructions. Because when he called you the next he started putting posters online. You created a WhatsApp group and started organizing a program. Put your poster. He just called you. He just called you. He has not even given you a location. He has not even given you a message. He has not even anointed you and sent you. The next thing you have put a title on your name. You have created a WhatsApp group inviting people. And your pastor is not even aware of all this. And this is the last time. This was the last time you heard the voice of God. Since then it is going to four years that he has never spoken to you. And he may not speak to you again until you repent. The calling of God. So God is calling us. And he is instructing us to come and learn of him first. Before we teach. Before you become a teacher you must first be a learner. Before you become a teacher. Shall we bow our head in prayer and talk to the Lord? Ask God to deal with your heart. Ask him to deal with your heart. Your heart has a problem. The problem you are having with God. You are having a heart problem with God. Open your mouth and begin to talk to God. Say Lord. Deal with my heart. I don't want to be a minister useless to the kingdom. I want to be a minister that will impact my generation. I want to be a minister that will touch lives in my generation. Deal with my heart. Deal with my heart. Deal with my heart. Open your mouth and begin to go to the Lord in prayers. Go to the Lord in prayers. Go to the Lord in prayers. Go to the Lord in prayers and talk to him.
