Let all the flesh be devoured I pray that when everybody comes close to us, that we see Jesus in our lives, in our character, in our behaviour, in Jesus name. Why not by way of prayers and talk to the Lord and ask the Lord to bless your life this evening, this morning. I want everyone, the children, I discovered that the children don't have Bible. Let the children be with their Bible, every one of them. If you are feeling cold, you can come to this side. If you are feeling hot, you can come to this side. Hallelujah. So commit yourself into the hands of God and ask God, Father, I want Jesus to be seen in my life. I want to be an example. I want to represent Christ in truth. I want my wife to see Jesus in me. I want my husband to see Jesus in me. I want my parents to see Jesus in me. I want my neighbours to see Jesus in me. I want people I want to see Jesus in me. When they see me, they will know I am a true Christian. And beyond that, I want God to see His Son in me. Open your mouth and talk to the Lord. Open your mouth and pray. Jesus, let you be seen in me. In the name of Jesus, help me. Help me. In the name of Jesus. For in Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Our Evangelical Father, we thank you. We glorify your name. We thank you for a great moment like this. We thank you for helping us. We thank you for your Word. Thank you for sending a platform like this, where we can come and grow in you. Father, I receive all the praise in the name of Jesus. Once again, we have come, O Lord. We ask for understanding. Give it on for us in the name of Jesus. Prepare our hearts to receive your Word. Some of us are just like, why are we coming to this? That is one of the reasons. Amen. The Lord will strengthen us in the name of Jesus. There is a joy in my heart for what the Lord is doing in our midst. And the Lord has put us in the right place. I can tell you, when we get to heaven, we will be happy we passed through this path. In the name of Jesus. You can't escape what the Lord is doing. Hallelujah. You can't what? Escape what the Lord is doing for you to be here. You can't escape it. The worst thing the enemy will do is don't just be here. But for you to be here, to be in this ministry, you can't escape what the Lord is doing. Hallelujah. The topic before me says, the daily life of a Christian walker. Amen. The daily life of who? Of a Christian walker. I know some of us just believe that we are a walker in the church of God. Yes, I will come to the church. I will perform my duty in any way. But there is a lifetime that is expected of every one of us to live. Amen. Let's open our Bible to the book of 1 Timothy 4. In fact, you will act in a way that even after you are done, you will know there is no difference between you and an unbeliever. So, our daily activity as Christian workers is what? Overcome temptation of what? Of the day. 1 Samuel chapter 119 verse 11. So, one of the activities is what? Overcoming what? Temptation of what? Of the day. The Bible says the days are evil. Redeem the day because the what? The days are evil. A lot of things will happen in the day. You will be tempted. So, if the what of the Lord is not in you, you did not read your Bible before leaving, you did not pray, how will you have the power to overcome the temptation of the day? So, this is one of what? Our what? Our what? Daily what? Lifestyle as a Christian worker. Number one, quiet time after waking up. Number two, overcoming temptation of the day. Number three, praying more than once in a day. Hey, let us open our Bible, Luke chapter 18 verse 1. Men ought to pray and not what? Sins. The real truth is that, in fact, prayer is like a core thing for us as a worker. Amen. This is how we come close to the one that calls us, to the person that we are doing his work. Not just a loon doing the work. He wants to know us. Amen. He wants what? He wants to know us. So many people, after they walk on earth, when they get to heaven, the Lord will say, get behind me. You workers of what? Iniquity. Because the Lord did not know them. They were just known what? In the church. But they have no trust in God with what? With God. Those are people that fight for posts. They want to be leader here. They want to be seen here. If you put them in a place that they will not be seen, they will fight. No. Put me where people will see me. But the Lord I want to see is not there. So prayer is a core thing for us as a believer. Pray more than once. If you know you can't pray for long, I was to train us one time, you can do 15 minutes. Come back again, do another 15 minutes. You can do that 4 times in a day. By the end of the day you will have seen you pray 2 hours. Is not everybody have the strength to do 2 hours stretch? Yes. You can come and do 30 minutes. Do another 30 minutes. The power of prayer is in what? In its consistency. Come and do it. 30 minutes. Do 30. Do 15 minutes. Come again. Do 15 minutes. I want to pray. I want to do 1 hour. I want to do 3 hours. Start with what? 10 minutes. Yes. Do 10 minutes 3 times. One day. Do it for one week. You pray one day, you will see you do 25 minutes. You will be like ah. 25 minutes look like 10 minutes. But that is where our power is. Prayer. This is the daily lifestyle of a what? Of a Christian worker. Prayer is key. Hallelujah. The number 4 says evangelism. Weekly evangelism. Let us open our Bible to Proverbs 11 verse 30. I want us to read. Another person to open to John chapter 15 verse 16. Proverbs 11 verse 30. Are we together? Amen. Don't sleep. Proverbs 11. Amen. The righteous. Ok. Sorry. Come again. The fruit of the righteous is the tree of life. I will tell you the truth. Not all believers are in this business. Amen. We have left this business for some set of people. But no. It is high time we wake up. Evangelism is part of what? Of our daily lifestyle. Our activity. Amen. Weekly. You can program your own. Talk to somebody about Jesus. Tell somebody about Jesus. It is not everybody you will be able to invite to the church. But ask somebody you are telling about Jesus that Jesus loves you. Amen. Tell somebody. John chapter 15 verse 16. Daily lifestyle of Christine Walker who established. Come on. Go ahead. For you I have not chosen. I have chosen you and ordained you. That you shall go and bring forth fruit. And that your fruit may remain. In my name we give it to you. So brothers and sisters there are fruits that is expected of everyone of us. Amen. There are what? Fruits that is expected of everyone of us. Thank God we are in a ministry like this where evangelism is key. Amen. Evangelism is key. The business of winning souls is paramount. It is what? It is paramount. We can have the funnel. It is what? It is paramount. And weekly. Amen. We can tell ourselves that okay. Maybe on Tuesday based on your schedule I am going now to talk to people about who? About Jesus. If there is a grace to invite them to your fellowship. Thank God we have fellowship now. Aha. It is easy. They may not want to come to the church first. Okay. Just in the evening we are gathering together. Please come and join us. Just one hour in the presence of God. Amen. Just come and join us. They invite them. From there when God gives you grace you can invite them what? To what? To church. It is a fruit and everyone of us must provide it. Hallelujah. Me and you should find someone to talk to about Jesus. There are so many people. So stylishly just tell them. Tell them. Let me say people of the world are not ashamed. It is we believers that are so much what? Ashamed now. People of the world are not what? They are not ashamed. People in immorality they are not hiding their shame. It is open. But we believers are the ones doing what? Hiding it. Yes. Somebody that is doing bad things they are showing it. But Christianity we are the ones. I don't want them to know I am a Christian. No. No. No. We should not hide it. We should what? Preach what? Preach the gospel. Hallelujah. So after today on Saturday let's find somebody to talk to about Jesus. Sister. Jesus loves you. I don't want them to see me as pastor. Let them see you. Amen. Let them what? See you. Don't be ashamed of what? Of Jesus. Share the gospel. Tell them that Jesus loves them. I did not want them what? To perish. And the Lord will help us in Jesus name. So we are talking about the daily lifestyle of Christian workers. Meaning after this meeting me and you is expected to live what? To live this life. Amen. We are expected to what? To live this life. We have talked about quiet time. We have talked about overcoming temptation. We have talked about prayer and we have talked about what? Evangelism. Now the next one says fasting. Fasting at least once in a week. I am going to tell you this one is very powerful. Amen. This one is what? Very very very powerful. Joel chapter 2 verse 12 says return to me with what? With all your heart with fasting. Amen. With what? Fasting. Joel chapter 2 verse what? Verse 12. Let me tell you flesh in its own is strong. What we are doing, the work we are doing is not what? A fleshly work. It is not a work you do by the power of what? Flesh. It will be, you will be tired. This is by flesh. Anyway we don't need to come and, what we come to do here is to draw power from God. To not launch out. So we need to cultivate the habit of fasting. I will tell you try this in a week. I know you say it is hard to fast. Let me give you an example of what I do to fast. I will just sit myself down. Before I fast I will be preparing my heart. I will be telling myself, you are eating now, nobody is shouting. I am telling you what to see. He is listening. He do what? So I will take my time, I will eat very well. In the morning, afternoon, night. I will be telling him, you are eating now, nobody is what? Complaining. Nobody is what? So when I start fasting like this. When you are eating I tell you, you don't know the flesh. He listens. So sometimes when you want to do things of God and you find it hard. Remember when you are doing the things of flesh. You can say when I was watching movie. It was sweet. When I was listening to that I was on Facebook typing. So why do you want to disturb me? That is it. That is my own personal way of. And I notice it. Sometimes I go to the mirror and say, see we are fasting. Hallelujah. Try it. You go to the mirror, look at yourself and say, see today we are fasting. If you would die, you would die. Amen. Why do we fast? So that we can return back to God. So that we can connect. You see, it is not easy to connect to Him. You will harm the flesh. It will be painful to the flesh. But do it. You will just notice that there is unusual grace for you to overcome a particular temptation. You will have overcome it and say, ah wait. On a normal good day I should have reacted this way. Do you know why you did not react? Because you deal with flesh and the spirit of God has find what? Expression what? Expression in you. That is how you deal with it. Amen. So many things we will not be able to live if we do not add what? Fasting to it. You want to hear the voice of God? If you want to hear the voice of God and your voice of flesh is loud. You cannot hear God. We are watching a movie now and nothing is happening. And you say yes. Fasting gives you, puts you in charge. And you allow the spirit of God to what? To find expression what? In us. So, weekly, one of our daily, weekly activity as a worker, even daily, say in a week. You can say in a week, I am fasting on Sunday. Before I eat, it is on Monday. You can say, okay, on Tuesday, every Tuesday. Every Tuesday, I am fasting until there is no sun before I eat. I can do that for two days. Just do it and be consistent. Weekly. You will notice there is a power, there is a grace that will be upon you to do exploit for God. Hallelujah. Amen. In conclusion, these are the daily lifestyle of a Christian worker. As we pray for mastering, the Holy Spirit walk on us and grant us grace to be a worker that will receive welcome good and faithful servants. Hallelujah. To receive welcome good and what? Faithful servants. We must choose the lifestyle of a Christian worker. Amen. If you want to be a footballer, there is a lifestyle that is expected of you. It is not a Christianity we are just living like this. No. If you want to be a dancer in a club, they have a lifestyle they live. Yes. If you want to be a courtesan, they have a lifestyle. Anything goes. I am not the one that kill Jesus. Anything goes. Even people which is fast. Amen. They do what? There are people in V. Paul they want to kill in the Bible. They gather them and say they will fast until he dies. Hallelujah. And we believers, we just want to... Amen. So, I want us to be a worker that will know Him that have called us what? To the walk. This is a lifestyle that is expected of me and you. This is not a lifestyle to please our pastor. It is to please who? To please God. And thank God for the leadership we have here. He has given us the environment, the enablement. There are churches that don't talk about things like this anymore. They don't care. As long as that person is active in church, they are okay. In fact, pastor, for if that person is active in church, they believe it is what? Spiritual. Not knowing the person is far away from God. Why would we walk on earth? And you say, get behind me. You walkers of iniquity. After you have done all the work in the church of God, God forbid. That will not be our portion in the name of Jesus. Our flesh will not ride us to hell in the name of Jesus. Our desire, our pleasure will not ride us to hell in the name of Jesus. Yeah. Footballers come to prepare for match. In fact, I play ball. Sometimes they tell us we should not go near women. So that you have stamina. Amen. Yes, they tell us don't go close to women. Don't sleep with anybody so that you have what? Stamina. That's football. Yeah. That's football. So there is a lifestyle for you to fit into a particular thing. There is a lifestyle. And this is the lifestyle of a Christian walker. Quiet time. Overcoming temptation. Evangelising weekly. Evangelising at least once in a week. Hallelujah. Praying. So me and you, our responsibility this coming week is to make sure we pass through all this. And the Lord will help us in Jesus' name. The Lord, we will not hear the voice, get behind me. In the name of Jesus. Can we rise up on our feet? Can we rise up on our feet? We want to make, we want to agree with God this morning that Father, Father help me to live a life of a Christian walker. A life of fasting. A life of denying the flesh. A life of evangelism. Father help me in the name of Jesus. Lord help me in the name of Jesus. So that I can live a life of conformity with you. In the name of Jesus.
