This meditation exercise helps you connect to your true self and reclaim your power. Close your eyes, relax, and focus on your breath. Imagine yourself in the room and become aware of any obstacles in your life. Remember that your true power is within you, not outside of you. Visualize your awareness expanding beyond your body, filling up the room, your home, and even the whole world. See yourself from a higher perspective, looking down at your country and then the entire earth. Realize that you are larger than any obstacle and connected to unlimited power. This awareness is indestructible and perfect. Bring this power back with you when you open your eyes. It is safe to be your true self in the world. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Feel the rise and fall of your breath. With each exhale, feel your body relaxing, your mind slowing down. Feel the breath, find its rhythm as you get more peaceful, more centered, more relaxed. I want you to imagine that you're sitting in the room right now that you're in. You're aware of your body. You're aware of all the problems or obstacles in your life that you want to solve, that you want to overcome. Now focus on one obstacle in your life. You may feel this obstacle is holding you back. Just think of that obstacle now. You may even notice the tension in your body as you think of it out there in the world. When we see things externally, we forget our true power. We think the power is somewhere outside of us. So this meditation exercise will help you reclaim your power and connect to your true self so that you can see yourself beyond any obstacle that arises. Feel your true power and strength in the world. So as you're focusing on yourself in your body, sitting in this chair, imagine that there's another part of you that's aware of you, that's aware of my voice. It's aware that you're listening to this meditation. This witness, this awareness is always there. Imagine this awareness moving beyond just your body and surrounding you now. Imagine it filling up the whole room. This part of you is much larger than your body, much more powerful than this tiny ego body. Imagine now that awareness stretches out to your whole home. There's so much power to you. It can fill this entire building, this entire space. And now it's even getting larger as it extends out through your entire city, expanding out through your entire state, moving out throughout your country. Imagine you're starting to see yourself from a higher place, looking down at your entire country and at that little you in that little spot. Imagine that this awareness surrounding the entire world, connected to everything in the world, and then see that awareness float out all into space, floating above the earth, looking down at the earth, feeling so expansive and large, powerful. And then see it go out to infinity, the farthest reaches of space. This awareness does not have any limitation. You can look down at that little tiny body, the little tiny room from this grand place, and see you're much more powerful than that perspective of your ego has of your little body. You are connected to an unlimited power. From this perspective, you see that you're larger than any obstacle that arises. From this perspective, the obstacle becomes an opportunity to see your own mind, to see the false perceptions of yourself, to see that you are not limited. This opens you up to the power of your true self. Imagine feeling the power of the universe all within you. It's indestructible. It can never be harmed. All-powerful you that's always been with you and always will be with you, no matter what happens in your daily life or whatever happened to you in the past, this pure awareness, your true self, has never been harmed. It's perfect in every way. The real you is powerful, unlimited, and filled with possibility. Now bring yourself back into your body from that grand place. But you're still the true self, even though your body covers up that truth. You can see now, through that illusion, to who you truly are. It's safe to be in your body. It's safe to be in the world. And it's safe to be your true self. And you can bring all this grand, wonderful power back with you when you open your eyes and come back to the room.
