There's Something About Mary

Ted (Ben Stiller) was going to the prom with Mary (Cameron Diaz), but prom date never happened, because Ted had a very unusual accident. 13 years later he realizes he is still in love with Mary, so he hires a private investigator (Matt Dillon) to track her down. That investigator discovers he is also in love with Mary, along with fellow miscreant Warren. But Ted finds his way to Miami and Mary, and wackiness ensues.
