Corundum (♦--)

I suppose you’re wondering why there’s a random “♦--” in the subtitle. I sometimes wonder that too myself. Well it’s quite simple yet tedious – but it kind of makes sense in my mind anyway. You see on Moh’s hardness scale, a diamond is a 10, while corundum is a 9. One below that is represented with the C++ decrement operator (--) from ♦. The rationale is that one does not have to be perfect or at the pinnacle of desirably to be special.
