At The Door

(We have a 10-year-old cat who stopped using the litter box when he was a couple of years old.) I dreamt that I heard my "partner" loudly saying, "STOP doing that" to the cat by the front door. I went to check. The cat was surprisingly still there, but in a dark space/shadow. I could see several pieces of feces on the floor.
