The Plan

This plan outlines our strategies for improving attendance, family involvement, and student achievement. The high rate of chronic absenteeism in the 2022-2023 school year was mainly due to kindergarten attendance. Moreover, our kindergarten families were not actively participating in school events last year. This plan describes how we will meet our goals in attendance, family involvement, and student achievement. Most of our chronic absenteeism rates are affected by kindergarten attendance, having contributed largely to the 33.4% rate in the 2022-2023 school year. Additionally, family involvement in school-wide events was lacking from our kindergarten families last year.
