The study aimed to determine the psychometric properties of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Positive Identity Measure (LGBTI) scale in a group of LGBT individuals in Peru. The sample consisted of 200 people, with ages ranging from 18 to 46. Resumen, la investigación tiene por objetivo determinar las propiedades psicométricas de la escala Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Positive Identity Measure, LGBTI, en un grupo de personas LGBT de Perú. Asimismo, la muestra estuvo conformada por 200 personas, con un rango de edades de entre 18 y 46 años, entre la respuesta sobre orientación sexual, el 11% lesbiana, el 38% gay, el 45% bisexual, el 4.5% pansexual, el 1% sexual y el 0.5% queer. En cuanto a los resultados del AFC, los índices de ajuste obtenidos alcanzaron los valores aceptables. Superíndice 2 igual a 584, GL igual a 262, CFI igual a .90, UCI igual a .0784, SRMR igual a .0688, y el rango de las cargas factoriales varió de .42 a .93. La confiabilidad mediante coeficiente omega para cada una de las dimensiones, autoconciencia .90, autenticidad .85, comunidad .89, intimidad .87 y justicia social .87. Se concluye que la escala ha demostrado adecuadas propiedades psicométricas en la muestra de estudio.
