The Annals Vol 3

The Annals Vol 3 is the final work of Publius Cornelius Tacitus, a historical account of the Roman Empire from the year 14 after the death of Augustus Caesar. Tacitus wrote at least 16 books, but some of them are missing. The books that remain cover the reigns of Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, and Nero. However, the second half of book 16 is missing, so the story ends abruptly. The work provides a glimpse into the political intrigues and personal lives of the Roman emperors, making it a valuable source for historians and those interested in ancient Rome.
