Yeah, yeah, remember take care of yourself while you take care of everybody else Yeah, you're precious too, you're precious too, you're precious too Remember take care of yourself while you take care of everybody else Yeah, you're precious too, you're precious too, you're precious too Remember take care of yourself while you take care of everybody else Yeah, you're precious too, you're precious too, you're precious too You're now tuned in to the Precious Jewel Podcast with your host, Julie Frazier Remember why you're taking care of everybody and everything else You're precious too, you're precious too, you're precious too Remember take care of yourself while you take care of everybody else Yeah, yeah Hello you guys, it's your girl, Julie Frazier So today we're going to be discussing Positive Mindset for happiness into your self-love Positive Mindset is closely entwined with your self-love and self-care I'm going to give you a few calls of it Positive Mindset Focus on self-love You have to practice self-acceptance Embrace yourself as you are Including your strengths, your weaknesses, your imperfections Recognize that you are deserving of love and respect Just as you are right now, here to be You have to practice self-acceptance If someone don't care for you or don't love you or don't show you love, that's fine But you have to learn how to self-acceptance If they don't love you, you got to love yourself Your self-love comes first Self-care routine Prioritize self-care activities by promoting your physical, mental, and emotional well-being This can include activities like taking care of your health, physical health Your physical health, taking a walk every day y'all Listen, setting boundaries When somebody has wronged you and you know they have wronged you You got to set boundaries You can no longer be around that person anymore Because they bringing out the worst in you Engage in activities you enjoy Practice relaxation techniques I love the water, I love taking long walks among the beach I love reading, I love meditation Challenge negative self-talk Become aware of your inner critic And challenge negative self-talk Replace your self-critical thoughts with self-compassionate and encouraging ones Trust and treat yourself with kindness and understanding Just as you would treat a loved one Trust yourself, treat yourself with kindness and understanding Just as you would treat your loved one, just as you would treat your kids You love your kids, you would take care of your kids You would do anything for your kids But guess what? You have to show yourself that as well Self-realistic expectations Avoid setting unrealistic expectations for yourself Set achievable goals and celebrate your progress along the way Remember that self-love is about accepting yourself, flaws and all And not striving for perfection Not striving for perfection, you guys We're not perfect, there's only one perfect person We don't strive for perfection Remember self-love is about accepting who you are Accepting your love for yourself Accepting the bad, the good Accepting every part of you Cultivate positive affirmation Use positive affirmation to reinforce self-love and build a positive self-image Repeat affirmations like I am worthy of love and happiness Or I embrace my unique qualities to remind myself of your inherent values You have values What are you willing to do to remind yourself of your own values? Surround yourself with love and support Surround yourself with people who genuinely care about you and uplift you Seek out relationships that force love Accept this positivity Minimize contact with toxic individuals who bring you down Minimize the toxic individual who brings you down Minimize the toxic We all have been around toxicity We are around those frenemies that frame you But behind your back laugh at you Those frenemies You got to learn how to walk away from the toxic individual that brings you down Amen? Celebrate your achievements and acknowledge them And celebrate your accomplishments no matter how small they may seem Give yourself credit for your efforts and success And take the time to appreciate your journey I am How can I say this? I do not celebrate my achievements I do not celebrate my accomplishments No matter how big, no matter how small it is I'm a mother of six And I just recently graduated with my associate's degree And I'm about to graduate with my bachelor's degree this coming February And I have not celebrated my accomplishments But I will be Trust and believe Remember, self-love is an ongoing practice that requires patience, self-compassion Embrace your uniqueness and treat yourself with kindness Prioritize your own well-being We have to learn how to prioritize our own well-being Because not everybody is going to take care of you the way that you are going to take care of you Not everybody is going to love on you the way that you need to be loved on Embrace your uniqueness and treat yourself with kindness Prioritize your own well-being Positive mindset focused on self-love can experience greater happiness and fulfillment and inner peace We can't let people take away our inner peace Peace starts within Love starts within You have to love yourself first When you go on a plane ride And the plane goes down
