I wrote this song about my mum's passing away meaning that we would never again not only visit her, but the lovely house and garden that showed her hard work, good taste and artistic skill with gardening. It was the end of an era. It meant also that "going home for the season" (Christmas) would never happen again. This song also has a little of the anger for past times when Mum & I didn't get along well. But in her last years, we made amends.
