One of my wife’s friends passed away and she is at the funeral now. I was thinking about him though and this is what came out of that- “A Passing". I found the G to end with certainly sped up the tune. It’s a little jolly, but ending in a minor it could get very deliberate. One interesting thing for me is that I fit a b5b9 as a substitute for the F#. I wrote it as "F#/Bb5b9”. This stuff is starting to make sense more granularly these days.
