This original piece "The Sky in Late Winter" is inspired by the U.S. Northeastern sky. At the end of March when the world is still gray and I find myself longing for Springtime. The piece is rhythmically interesting and centers around a unique hierarchy of tones. The piece is more rhythmically than technically demanding. The beginning starts out slow in contrast to the middle section. The piece has a dramatic ending.
