It can also deal blunt damage with the shield and block attacks to reduce damage. Overall, it deserves a high ranking. Number seven, the sword and shield. This weapon can do it all with Jack of all trades. It can stun, it can slash, and it can block. The sword and shield might be the beginner weapon, but that doesn't make it bad. This weapon is the second best weapon for combos due to the fact that almost all of its moves go into each other. Not only that, but you can attack with your shield for blunt damage, like the hammer to give monsters a concussion. You also have the option to block attacks, and while the shield isn't that good, it's still there to help you take a little less damage if you're in a pinch. For these reasons, I think the sword and shield deserves a spot in S tier.
