The speaker starts by discussing how Friday is typically payday for most people. They then talk about how people's reactions to someone discussing money can vary. Some may see it as boastful, while others may be interested in learning more. The speaker suggests that the way we are taught to talk about money can be limiting and that it's not the money itself that is important, but rather the impact it can have on others. They share their own experience of being focused on the opportunity that money provides rather than the money itself. The speaker is curious to hear others' perceptions on this topic and invites honest feedback. Hey, everyone. Good morning. Happy Friday. Hope everyone's having an amazing day so far or on their way to having an amazing day. And I feel like today happens to be a great day for a specific topic. Let's talk about money today. And it happens to be payday for most people, right? Friday is payday. I've been working all week or all two weeks. And then today happens to be Friday, which is payday. So let's talk about money. Real quick. If we were to go to dinner, and I was to sit down and tell you about making a bunch of money, and like father said, man, I just made a bunch of money and was talking about it. How would you feel? Would you feel like man, that guy's boastful and talks about money? He shouldn't do that. Why is he talking about money like that? Sure, some would. Sure, other people would be like, man, that's great. Show me the path. But then let's flip the conversation. What if I was sitting down at dinner and I was to tell you that, oh, man, we just lost our house. We made a bad decision and lost a bunch of money. And because of that, we're going broke. It's so bad for me, right? You'd feel like, wow, poor guy, he made a bad decision and he lost a bunch of money and now he's going broke. It's interesting, right? Like to think about the different perspective. It's the same conversation, just a different flip side. So I think that oftentimes the way that we're told to talk about money is a hindrance, right? So because we're not, and again, it's not money itself, right? It's not money. It's money's paper. It doesn't, it's what we can do with the money, the lives that we can change with the money, the impact that we can make, right? That's when I get excited about. I don't care about the money. I care about the meaningful impact that I can make with the money. And so I remember early on, my wife used to be like, why are you always focused on, you know, making more money and starting another business, this, that, and the other. And it's not, it never was about the money. It was always about the opportunity that was available inside of the money. But for some people that, some people that can be a threatening idea. And so I'm curious to know what your perception on this is. Honest feedback, guys, go ahead, go for it. Let's hear.
