This is a story told for young children about the life of Ralph Lazo... "the Voluntary Prisoner" He went with his Japanese friends to the Manzanar Internment Camp and after two years there, graduated from the High School and went on to receive a bronze medal in WWII in the Pacific. After the war he graduated from UCLA and became a teacher of children who needed extra help in learning. He fought for restitution for the Japanese families who were sent to these camps and won that Fight!
