Nick Kreznak introduces the Big Mouth Podcast, where he and Matthew Mounsey discuss upcoming and past MMA fights. Nick, who has been following MMA for over five years, shares his knowledge and experiences with the audience. He talks about his personal connection to Kevin Holland, who will be facing Stephen Wonderboy Thompson in an upcoming fight. Nick believes that Holland has a chance to win this rematch based on their previous fight. He also mentions another fighter, Terrence McKinney, who will be competing on the same card against Bobby Green. Nick predicts that Holland will win by knockout and Green will emerge victorious against McKinney, but he will be rooting for both. Hi there everyone, my name is Nick Kreznak and welcome to the first episode of the Big Mouth Podcast. In this listening series, I will take you on a journey through the MMA world as my partner and I, Matthew Mounsey, break down massive upcoming fights that are announced as well as recap fights that have already happened. We really look forward to sharing our experiences with you, but before starting, I would like to let the entire audience know that I have absolutely loved MMA from an extremely young age and have been following the sport closely for over five years now. I train multiple facets of MMA, such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing, so I understand both the ground side of the game as well as the stand-up. I would like to know or think that when it comes to talking about MMA, I'm very knowledgeable about it and hopefully you guys will listen to my takes and appreciate them. So hopefully everyone listening will enjoy the content I'm putting out there and will continue to listen to these podcasts as they're released. Thank you everyone for tuning in. For this episode, we'll be focusing on the upcoming fight that has been announced between Kevin the Trailblazer Holland and Stephen Wonderboy Thompson. Whenever Kevin Holland fights, it holds a special place in my heart, not only because you know it's going to be entertaining, but because he trains alongside me and my partner, Matthew Mounsey, at Travis Lutter Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu here in Fort Worth, Texas. I go to TCU, obviously, so Fort Worth has a special place in my heart and ever since I moved out here, I started taking MMA classes and I actually got to know Kevin decently well because he was in the same MMA classes I was taking, just obviously at a higher level. He's a super friendly and easy-going guy, which is one of the main reasons I've grown such a liking for him, as well he's just really personable and so every time he fights, I'm tuning in, making sure I'm watching it and I'm cheering for him every single time he steps in that octagon. This is a very intriguing fight for Kevin Holland. They just announced that he's going to be doing a five-round main event against Stephen Wonderboy Thompson. They have already fought once previously in their career and it was a very back-and-forth even-keel fight until Stephen Wonderboy Thompson TKO'd technical knockout Kevin Holland in the fourth round right towards the end. This was a little devastating for me, obviously, because I was rooting for Kevin Holland, but I'm also a big fan of Stephen Wonderboy Thompson. I love both of their styles. Both of them are more stand-up guys. They like to kickbox, throw big shots, and try and knock each other out and that's really one of my favorite facets of MMA is the kickboxing part and this fight, it happened about eight months ago. This was one of the most entertaining fights I think I've ever watched in my whole life. They're both, like I said, just stand-up kickboxers. They're trading in the middle of the octagon doing some crazy kung fu and karate stances. Like I said, they're stand-up guys, so Stephen Wonderboy Thompson, he specializes in karate, which is one of the basic forms of kickboxing and he does a great job at it. He's probably the master in the MMA world, if I had to guess, and Kevin Holland's a black belt in kung fu, so it's a really intriguing stylistic matchup because they're both stand-up guys, but they do very different things on the feet, which keeps people on the edge of their seats all the time. For their upcoming fight here in a few weeks, I tend to look back at the old fight and obviously, like I said earlier, it was very close and very even up until the point Kevin got knocked out, but I think that he'll be able to come back and recover from his loss against Stephen Wonderboy Thompson previously just because he has someone to work with now, he knows how Stephen Wonderboy moves inside the ring, and I think this is just going to give him a really competitive advantage in their upcoming fight here in a few weeks in Las Vegas, so I'm really excited to watch it. Also, one thing I wanted to say was Terrence McKinney, he also trains out of Travis Lutter Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he will be fighting on the same card as Kevin Holland as well, and he will be fighting Bobby Green, another very great stylistic matchup. Both of these guys like to stand on their feet, throw big shots, and trade with one another. Again, this is going to be a very entertaining fight, hopefully everyone's going to tune in, and now I'm going to give my predictions for these two fights, so obviously I know Travis, I know Kevin Holland, and Terrence McKinney, so I might be a little biased in my picks, but I really, really think that Kevin Holland's going to get it done against Stephen Wonderboy Thompson this time, he really comes back stronger in rematches as we've seen with his fight with Anthony Pettis, he came back and won the second time after losing the first, so I think he'll be able to get it done in the second fight, I think he's going to knock him out maybe third or fourth round, since it is a five-rounder, and for Terrence McKinney, I love the guy, but unfortunately I'm going to have to pick Bobby Green, I think he's a little more of a seasoned veteran, more prepared to take on this big fight, big moments, bright lights, and I think Bobby Green's going to get it done at the end of the day. But, either way, I'm going to be rooting for both the Travis Lutter Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu trainees, and hopefully they can both get it done.
