The current refugee policy in the United States is heavily influenced by political motivations and ties. The country chooses which refugees to support based on political perspectives, rather than moral standards. This is a major issue that needs to be addressed. Political motivations and ties are also a huge issue in our current refugee policy, with the United States handpicking who to support and in turn what refugees to support based largely on a political perspective. Instead, support for refugees should be based on moral standards.
