American vocal group who performed mostly pop standards from 1947 to 1960. The three redheads from different parts of the country met at the University of California in Los Angeles. They were known for their easy going, exuberant, happy sound and comic arrangements to songs, making the audience part of songs with sing-a-longs and hand clapping.
