Mentoring is a powerful tool for helping kids succeed. It enhances learning through one-on-one mentoring and setting personal targets. Mentors develop relationships with students and learn how to communicate with them. Mentoring contributes to student development physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Mentors also gain leadership skills and discover new ways of thinking. Being a mentor is a worthwhile investment with long-term returns. Mentors benefit as much as the mentees. Welcome everybody. This is our first episode for this content. So, in this episode we are just going to focus on the benefits of the mentor. So, when you talk about the mentor, what benefits do they get from mentoring? As we all know, mentoring is a powerful tool for helping kids to become successful in life. It is used to enhance learning through one-to-one mentoring with students and having TA identify personal targets. So, for mentoring to be effective, it must be informed by an understanding of learning to teach. So, through mentorship, a mentor has various benefits that he or she might get. And it's not might, but it's guaranteed. Mentoring gives the mentor the opportunity to develop a relationship with the student. So, when it comes to educational mentorship, the mentor develops the relationship, which allows communication between different students and how to communicate with them. So, it also contributes to student development. So, mentoring contributes to student development physically, emotionally, and maybe spiritually. So, when it comes to mentoring, the mentor gets leadership skills. Like, they develop some leadership skills, which they can use in other settings, in other branches or something like that. Maybe they can use it at work. So, they also reflect upon their career. So, discovering new ways of singing can be one of the benefits that mentors get. So, mentors are able to sing in different ways, which enables them to solve different solutions differently. So, becoming a mentor is like making a great investment. It can be costly, but the long-term returns are surprisingly large. So, being a mentor can be a personally fulfilling experience. So, in each one, mentors benefit at least as much as the mentees.
