The Milwaukee Bucks have been struggling this season. Adrian Griffin, the former head coach, was fired due to issues with defensive coaching and lack of trust from star players. Doc Rivers was hired as the new head coach, but the team's performance has not improved, with a record of 3-7 in the last 10 games. Offensive struggles and inconsistency from Damian Lillard have been a problem. The team has a poor offensive rating but has improved defensively. Giannis has expressed frustration with the team's effort. The Bucks need to be more consistent and improve their offensive game to have a successful season. Yo what's good y'all it's Johno back from Top Boss Central and today's video we're going to be covering the recent struggles of the Milwaukee Bucks and just really what's gone wrong this whole season. Let's get right into it. So first things first let's talk about Adrian Griffin and how he really started with this team and really why he got fired. So you may be like Adrian Griffin had a 30-13 record which was basically a 70% win percentage which honestly at first whenever I saw that he got fired I was a little confused as well but honestly I really wasn't that shocked because Adrian Griffin had a lot of problems with this team in just a matter of the 43 games that he coached in and one huge issue that Griffin had on this team was his terrible defensive coaching. For example versus the rebuilding Terrazzo Raptor team they they was able to put up 130 points against him and the Bucks defense is not supposed to do that I mean this is one of the best defensive teams supposedly in the league at least a you know top five to top ten type of team and they just weren't playing at that type of level during Griffin's tenure of being a Milwaukee Bucks head coach and even in some other games his play calling was just really bad especially like during like the fourth quarter I believe in one game Giannis even had to make audibles and call other plays to help the team out and there was also a lot of rumors that a lot of the veterans on this Milwaukee Bucks team really just didn't want him there and the last thing I got is he was just really terrible at gaining the trust of any of his star players which is something that you know just really was a key sign of why he wasn't the right man for that job. Now before we get into the rest of the video make sure you guys like it because it helps us be able to create more and more content just like this and let's get right back into it. So on January 26th of this year the Milwaukee Bucks decided to step in and hire Doc Rivers as their new head coach and we've kind of gotten to sit back and let you know 10 games sink in and just be able to watch his coaching style you know on this team and I don't think nobody's been impressed because this man is putting up a record of three and seven in his last 10 games as a coach for this team and it has just not been impressive at all. If anything it's just been horrible and the only thing that has gotten better is their defense as a team but that's the only thing that's gotten better and everything has statistically just went downhill ever since this man has you know gotten hired and it seems like every game that has went on now this team is getting worse and worse. Now the first game the Milwaukee Bucks lost with Doc Rivers as the head coach which was pretty obvious I mean you know just brand new to this team they lost to the Denver Nuggets you know at their own home and then the next game they found a way to lose to one of the worst teams in the league and that being the Trailblazers then they ended up beating the Dallas Mavericks and they ended up losing to the Jazz in a terrible looking game where Damian Lillard managed to play 38 minutes and only dropped in 12 points and then they ended up losing to the Suns they lost to the Timberwolves they dominated the Hornets then they beat the Nuggets by a pretty good margin they got kind of dominated by the heat as well but the worst thing that has really came out of this so far is them losing to the Grizzlies the other night it was just pretty embarrassing to lose to I mean the best player on the court was Gigi Jackson and also Zyre Williams but I mean come on man you're losing to a team without John Moran obviously Desmond Bain and no Jaron Jackson Jr and they're also missing some other guys as well besides them I would definitely consider this team to be like a borderline G League team at that and they really lost to them and this was a game where Giannis had a really good performance he put up 35 points 12 assists and played 37 minutes he shot 15 for 17 from the field and he just looked really good out there but Damian Lillard had a really bad shooting night he shot 7 from 21 managed to put up 24 points but he had four turnovers and I believe he didn't even score at all in the fourth quarter but this performance is just really uncalled for and Doc Rivers right after the loss of the other night he came out and said they had two guys that forgot to play that they were running and some guys were there and they also had some guys in Cabo which is basically saying he's blaming it on the players which is really just not an excuse at all and this is just something that Doc Rivers tries to do is blame the players but I mean I really just don't understand how you can blame any of your players because I mean you still had Giannis and Dame out there starting against a team that was as decimated as this Memphis Grizzlies team is and so the Milwaukee Bucks in these last 10 games have a very terrible offensive rating as they are just 22nd in the league right now in their past 10 games and the really only positive thing that Doc Rivers has done is improve the defensive rating on this team as it has progressed to 11 which I believe over the span of them having Griffin as their head coach I believe he had the 19th in the league but the Bucks in this Doc Rivers era is just not trending in the right direction at all and it kind of is a you know really small sample size to judge this man but going into the all-star break this team is 35 and 21 and they are just not getting consistent wins and that's really what the Milwaukee Bucks really need is wins and consistency but personally I think this was a terrible hire you know all throughout and personally I don't think they should have ever done it they should have went after somebody else because I did think the firing of Adrian Griffin was going to happen soon whether we like it or not and I want to switch gears a little bit I want to talk about Damian Lillard who was obviously the main topic going into the season especially after what they traded for him they got rid of Drew Holiday and this was a Damian Lillard who was coming off a very terrific year with the Blazers and obviously they weren't expecting like you know a crazy amount of defense coming out of him but they were expecting a lot more from the offensive end because he has been struggling pretty much the whole year you know some games he has showed out but most games he is just not there offensively and he's really cold and just for an example of you know versus the Grizzlies obviously he shot seven from 21 which is a 33 percent you know field goal percentage which is horrible and also he shot 23 percent from three and he's just had so many like multiple games throughout this whole season where he's just putting up a terrible overall field goal percentage in most games that he plays and he just don't look comfortable on this team at all um and a lot of the games that he plays in and just overall this full season Dame has just been super inconsistent whether that's been Doc Rivers being here or not and another mistake that the Bucs I feel like have made is not trading Chris Middleton because he's not who he once was and he's definitely not getting as much minutes as he used to and I just kind of want to throw that in there because I feel like he's a guy that I believe they should have traded sometime this season but obviously they're just going to keep him but a positive thing that the Bucs have done trade-wise was getting Patrick Beverly because he brings that defense to the guard position and he's just a really successful defender when it comes to it on the defensive end for the perimeter and I definitely feel like it was something that they needed but yeah the moral of the story is this team has not been looking good recently and Giannis has been frustrated because he said he came out and said that they are not on track of what they are trying to do and he's also unhappy with the team's effort but yeah the Bucs just need to get things together because if they keep walking back like this and just keep falling behind more and more it's going to definitely be a rough path for this Milwaukee Bucs team but I assure you that they're still going to win you know a good amount of games but if they keep going at the rate that they are especially being three and seven in their last 10 and they keep adding on to that this team just isn't going to win anything so so just after the all-star break that's the really main thing they need to do is just be more consistent especially from the offensive end because that's what's killing them right now and now let me know down below in the comments what do you guys think the Bucs are going to do this season like for the rest of the year do you guys think they're going to be able to make the championship and go on a run or do you guys think they're just going to come up at the pace that they are right now and just keep going at that rate so let me know down below and as always make sure to like and subscribe and turn on post notifications and I'll see you on the next one I'm out
