The Denver Nuggets are currently ranked number three in the Western Conference. The competition in the West this season is tougher than last season. The Nuggets have players like Jamal Murray, KCP, MPJ, Aaron Gordon, and Nikola Jokic who have been performing well. MPJ has improved his defensive game and rebounding. Aaron Gordon has been a solid contributor, especially on defense. Nikola Jokic is one of the MVP front runners and is averaging high points, rebounds, and assists per game. The Nuggets could become even more dominant by making some trades. One unrealistic trade suggestion is to send MPJ and draft picks to the Brooklyn Nets for Mikkel Bridges and Royce O'Neal. A more realistic addition would be Alex Caruso, who would strengthen the team's defense and make them a top three defense in the league. Yo what's good y'all it's Jono back from Top Boss Central and in today's video we're going over the Denver Nuggets and how they can truly become unstoppable so stick around towards the end of this video because I have an unrealistic trade and also a player who they should target to make this team better as a whole. So the Denver Nuggets are currently sitting at number three in the west right now with a current record of 28-14 and this season I think that the competition in the west is much much tougher than last season especially with a young rising thunder team that's took it over the league with one of the MVP front runners in SGA right now and also one of the best defensive teams in the NBA right now which is the Minnesota Timberwolves with another young star that I truly believe that can become an MVP one day and that is Anthony Edwards and even the Clippers are definitely looking scary because they've been healthy this season and that's something that they've dealt with for a while with just all those injuries and all that you know but let's talk about you know the team that we're discussing in this video and that is the Denver Nuggets. So starting with the first player up we have Jamal Murray who's been pretty solid this season putting up 20.5 points per game on pretty solid shooting and he's averaging similar stats just the last season after the way he performed in the playoffs I honestly thought that his stats would go up a bit you know a little bit more but it is tough to put up crazy numbers like that especially when you got a top three MVP on your team and whenever the Nuggets do make it to the playoffs I definitely would expect to see you know classic playoff Murray that we see every season or every you know playoffs because for instance last season he averaged 26 a game inside of the playoffs and he was really good whenever it comes to facing the Lakers because this man was averaging 32 and a half points literally in that series versus the Lakers. Now next up we have KCP and I'm not really going to spend much time on him but this season he's putting up 10 points a game and he's been shooting 46 percent from the field and he's just a really good role player to have on any championship contending team and he just continues to show why he is a reliable steady contributing like piece for this team and now moving on we got MPJ who's been averaging 16.4 points a game while shooting 48.2 percent from the field and he continues to show us why he is a solid wing on this team and he's really you know has improved on his defensive game and also improved his rebounding this season as well going from just averaging five and a half boards a game last year to getting a bit better averaging a little bit over seven this year and one thing I would say is the best about him this season is that he's played literally in every single game that the Nuggets have played and they've played 42 games this year which is honestly truly incredible to see and it's just really you know a really great thing considering all his injuries in the past and some games we're even getting to see games like where he actually passes the ball like the other game he had a five assist game which you just don't see that out of him you know like last season that man did not pass the ball at all and this game or this season he's actually finding some games where he is deciding to play make a little bit more and share the ball which is something that you struggle to do but him being able to consistently play in every single game that the Nuggets have had this season is just one of the best things that has probably happened to the Nuggets this year is him playing in every game but now I want to flip over to the power forward of this team and that is Aaron Gordon who has been averaging 14 points per game in his shot 55.4 percent from the field which is honestly not bad considering that he has been dealing with an injury from his dog last month where he had to get 21 stitches which definitely sucks for him but he's already back to some of his old ways or like his old self because this month he's been playing up the standards averaging 16 points a game and just came off a 20 point double double against the Pacers and at the beginning of the month he had like a 30 point game as well he put up and Aaron Gordon will always be a solid contributor to this team because like for instance in the playoffs last year he was locking up you know all the team's best you know offensive players he was locking them up and that's really a key piece and a key reason on to why the Nuggets was winning all those games is because of the defense from Aaron Gordon you know that he has and he's just really one of the key pieces on why this team is a top 10 defense in the league as well so now let's move on to the best player on this team and one of the MVP front runners right now and that is Nikola Jokic who's been averaging 25.5 points per game who has also been getting 12 boards and 9 assists a game as well and I wouldn't say that he's been playing better than Embiid or Giannis per se but don't get it twisted this man is still up there with the best and continues to do whatever to get his team a victory and just get his team those wins because Jokic will do whatever it takes on any given night whether that is just having to give the ball up and share the ball all night just getting assist or if he has to take charge and just score all night and just drop a 40 piece he can do whatever because when it comes to defending Jokic you know any team has two like two choices they can go with a double team or I mean Jokic is gonna find the open man if they hit the double team on him so this is pretty unfair whenever guarding Jokic it's really tough and he's gonna make defenses pay no matter what and one thing he has gotten better on is his defense he's I think he's improved a bit more and has gotten better this season particularly on his defense but enough on him I kind of want to dive into what this main video is about and that is what this team can add to make them that much more dominant and make them like a guaranteed you know championship title contender and now starting off with that unrealistic trade that I was talking about the beginning of the video is that the Denver Nuggets should send over MPJ a 2024 first rounder a 2025 second round pick over to the Brooklyn Nets for Mikkel Bridges and Royce O'Neal see this would help them a lot I would say but I mean this is kind of unrealistic but you honestly never know because Mikkel Bridges hasn't really been playing up to standards of what we thought this season because we honestly thought that this man would be averaging probably at least like four or five more points per game than what he's averaging right now because he's getting like 21 points a game and I think both of these guys would also help this defense just make them much much more dangerous as a group but now I kind of want to talk about the more realistic side and who they should pick up which is the player I would have to say is Alex Caruso I think Alex Caruso would be the perfect pickup and perfect option that they should try to target because Alex Caruso would make them a top three defense which this team was already a top 10 defense you know hands down but he would make them a top three defense which is dangerous already with the amount of offense they already provide on this team it would just make this team scary and the league would have to watch out because I mean you get the passing of Jokic you know and his offense along with the defense that this team could have with a player like Caruso who is a first team all defender this team would be very dangerous and let me know down in the comments below what you guys think about these two you know type of deals and yeah let me know down in the comments and as always make sure to like comment and
