In the 1940s, “Uncle Doc” (Donald Raymond Taylor) had a device to record phonograph records. He brought it to several Schroeder family gatherings and made some records. At the Schroeder family reunion on July 30, 2004, many of these records were digitized. These recordings were made on several days in June 1947, mostly interviews with Uncle Doc hosting.
