The speaker went to Value Village and found various coats, including a Good American puffer and a rag and bone trench. They also found a vintage fur coat for a good price. At Goodwill, they found pleather pants, costume bags, and Sam Edelman boots. They also spotted a Tumi bag and a Patagonia pullover. At the family thrift outlet, they found leather coats and dresses. They ended up getting five items. Stay tuned for the total spend. Our first stop was Value Village. I was at this location last week thrifting for girlcore and I remembered seeing fur coats so I had to come back. Plus, I had another 50% off coupon. I went straight to the coats. This was a Wild Fable faux fur coat. The coloring was funky but kind of fun, however, definitely not very mob wipe. Also, priced at $40 is steep for a Target brand. This was a Good American animal print puffer. It was priced at $35 which isn't terrible considering they retail for close to $200. Definitely an add to cart kind of piece. This rag and bone trench coat with leather details is so cool. It was priced high at $80 but rag and bone is such a nice expensive brand. I had to admire it and at least take it to try it on. Another faux fur. Grey just does not feel bold enough for the look we are going for. Some more coats. This was a gorgeous wool trench but it's getting succession rather than Sopranos. I thought this cream faux fur was so cool but then I saw the price tag $60 for a Zara jacket. Are you kidding me? That's so overpriced but it's okay because I found this gorgeous vintage fur coat, exactly what we were looking for and it was priced at only $28. I immediately threw it in the cart. Value Village has a behind the counter section and they let me snoop through it. Most of the items were mall brands like Vera Bradley, Calvin Klein but they did have some higher end pieces like these Prada peep toes for $85. Some really cool Stuart Weitzman boots but $95. Some real furs. Those were all priced at $200 plus. I found a vintage coach bucket bag that just needs a little TLC for $28. In the jewelry case, the only thing I looked at closer was this pearl necklace. I didn't personally see myself in this colorway though. I breezed through the top since I was just here last week. These were the ones I picked up. This feather cuff crop top, very on theme. This faux coach print zip up. I really don't know why I picked this up in the first place and you can see my face reflects that. Then this green mesh off the shoulder top. I didn't like the bell sleeves for this aesthetic on second glance. I ended up passing on all three. Now for the try-ons. The Good American puffer. I am absolutely obsessed with this piece and I think it is so cute paired with my onesie. I'm already planning to wear it like that. I will come up with a different outfit for the try-on haul. The rag and bone trench. It is so chic but would take up almost all of our budget at $40 even after the 50% off coupon. So I did pass the vintage fur. I think it's pretty perfect and for $14 a no-brainer. I don't know if it's real or faux so I will do some more research on the brand before the try-on haul so stay tuned. We ended up spending $34.02 at Value Village including tax. I popped into one of my favorite Goodwills on the way home. I love checking out the new racks and there were so many. I found these chocolate brown pleather pants in my size. They are brand new with tags from Aritzia, the Babaton label and only $6.99. Of course I had to try them on ASAP. They fit so well I had to get them. I checked out the regular women's racks as well. Lots and lots of fun costume bags that could fit the mob wife aesthetic. This feather one made me a little sad that I didn't get the feather top. I spotted some over the knee Sam Edelman boots in my size. I tried them on and I am obsessed. However, I did not have an outfit in mind for how I would wear them and they were priced fairly high at $20.99 which would have put us over budget. I was finishing my lap around the store when I spotted a Tumi tag in the men's section. It is a gorgeous leather duffel bag plus it was only $10. Maybe a Valentine's Day gift for Lucas? Another find in the men's section a Patagonia cinchilla pullover and not a bad price at $12.99. That's all I got. Only one item for the mob wife aesthetic. I spent $7.55 on it. I had a remaining budget of $8.43 so I decided to go to the family thrift outlet where everything is $2.25 on Thursdays and see what all we could find there. Naturally I gravitated to the jackets and coats. I found this gorgeous hooded vintage leather coat that is lined with a cheetah fleece. Another leather find this chocolate brown leather jacket. I went ahead and tried them on to see if they fit. They both do. Now I was only supposed to get three items here and I'm already at 2 10 minutes in. Let's see how I do with staying under budget. I picked up a few dresses to go through. This vintage rampaged velvet dress. It was not my size. This Jessica McClintock Gunny Saks formal dress. Not on theme but that's a tag I always have to check out. This halter neck dress gives Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface. I absolutely love this but in reality I have no need for it as I have no formal events to attend. Naturally I gravitated to the jackets and coats. I picked up a few tops to go through for layering with all the jackets we had found. This shimmery sheer cow neck tank top. I didn't really love it. I ended up putting it back. This animal print mock neck tank. I really want to see this paired with a brown leather jacket. This navy blue turtleneck with a belt. I really liked the extra detail but navy did not go with anything that we were getting. This black collared long sleeve. It felt way too boring. A nice brown turtleneck. I think this will go really well with one of the cheetah print jackets. This off the shoulder new with tags 525 America long sleeve. I ended up getting five items. Stay tuned for the total spend.
