Support is available throughout the process, with contacts provided for assistance. It emphasizes disconnecting from work, focusing on well-being, and utilizing available resources. Hello. Welcome. Thank you for joining today's conversation where we get to share with you all the things that you need to know about your upcoming leave of absence related to your birthing parental leave. We hope that you walk away with this presentation armed with all of the information that you need to know to take on this journey. Before we get started in today's presentation, we do want to tell you congratulations. We are thrilled for you as you begin this incredible journey and we're pleased to support you with dedicated time away to focus on your upcoming delivery. So you may be wondering, what are my leave entitlements? As a full-time employee, you are entitled to 18 weeks of paid leave for your maternity leave of absence. This GoFundMe paid leave will be integrated with your state disability or state paid family leave if it is available in your state. You're also eligible for job protection for the duration of your approved leave status and you'll get access to a leave management system which is called TILT and it will allow you to independently manage and update all of your leave details, make changes to your leave date or connect directly with a TILT leave management specialist. You're also entitled to four weeks of unpaid leave. This can be extended after your 18 weeks of GoFundMe paid leave and while these four weeks are unpaid, you can supplement this time with your sick bank if you are a salaried employee or your accrued PTO if you are an hourly employee. You also have an entitlement of what is called ramp up time. Ramp up time allows you to modify your schedule so that you work a reduced schedule when you return to work. This modification can be applied for up to four weeks and we ask that you do not minimize your schedule by less than 30 hours per week. And then finally, you have access to maternity support through our partners at MAVEN. MAVEN provides you access to specialists such as doula specialists or lactation specialists. You also have access to their amazing website where you can find so much information to support you from pre-birth all the way up until the child is of 18 years of age. And finally, you will have support through our MAVEN partners. They provide maternity support and this support can be available to you from pre-birth all the way up until your delivery and even after. The support comes in a variety of different ways. And finally, you have access to maternity support. And finally, you have access to maternity support through our partners at MAVEN. MAVEN is our first point of contact on your pathway to parenthood and you can access the support that they have related to their doula specialist, lactation expert, sleep specialist, and so much more. These support areas are available to support you and your family on your pathway to parenthood. So another important question that you may have is how do you get paid? So your GoFundMe parental repay is integrated with state disability insurance and or pay family leave if that is applicable in your state. If your state does offer state disability or pay family leave, you will get that payment directly from those sources. The remaining amount of your regular pay for the duration of your 18 weeks will come directly from GoFundMe and that's going to be paid via your standard paycheck delivery method. In the event that you choose to extend your maternity leave from the paid 18 weeks, remember those four weeks are unpaid. You can supplement the paid time with your sick pay if you are an exempt employee or your accrued PTO if you are a non-exempt employee. It is important to know your PTO balance in the event that you choose to add an extension to your birthing leave. So you may be asking where do I begin? We hope that the leave process is extremely seamless, but we are here to support you all the way through from the beginning to the end. So first, we encourage you to really learn and prepare yourself for your upcoming leave and we have two recommendations to do so. Go ahead and start by reading that U.S. birthing leave package. It's going to give you all the steps that you need to have a successful leave of absence. That overview guide is going to contain steps that you need to know from pre-birth to... First, you want to learn and prepare. We recommend that you read the U.S. birthing leave package. This is going to be your overview guide and should be your point of reference for any questions that you have. Of course, your benefits team is always available to help you with any questions that you have along the way. But the U.S. birthing leave package is going to cover steps from pre-delivery to birth, post-delivery recovery. There's a ramp of questions and frequently asked questions to support you as you learn more about the leave of absence process. We encourage you to inform your manager. We recommend giving at least a two-month notice to your team. If you need support in that area, your people partner can help drive this conversation. Next, we're going to ask that you submit your leave schedule. Go ahead and submit your leave schedule to your benefits team as early as possible. We know that these dates may change, so please don't feel pressure to stick to those dates. We can make changes at any time. After we get access to your leave schedule, you'll get an invitation from TILT. Remember, that's that leave of absence management portal. Once you get that access to TILT, please make sure that you review the leave details that are built into the system. I encourage you to check out the pay calculations, look at the leave duration date to make sure that it aligns with your request. TILT is going to be your all-in-one hub for everything that you need to know from state claim steps to pay calculation, required actions, recommendations, and so much more. It's very important that you take a look at that information that is in TILT. If any changes are needed, you can reach out to support directly from the portal, or please connect with a member of your benefits team. Here's what you can expect in the TILT platform. And then finally, please enjoy your leave. We encourage you to fully disconnect from your work duties and really enjoy your time away. While on leave, please remember to disconnect. Step away from your work responsibilities and focus on your well-being and the well-being of your family. You can stay informed on your leave of absence details by periodically checking TILT for important updates and required steps. Don't forget to use your MAVEN benefits. They are available all across the globe, and they are for you and your family. This is all paid for and provided to you from GoFundMe, and please don't hesitate to reach out. If you have any questions or need the support, please contact anyone from the provided contact list. And you can see the leave of support contacts here. You can reach out to your GoFundMe benefits manager, Myra Barnett, and the email is on the screen. You also have support through TILT and your people partners in the people operations team. If you need any other details related to your leave, check out the leave resources that are linked in this presentation. So just to recap, here are the steps to your maternity leave. You're going to learn everything that you need to know from the leave of absence materials that are already provided to you. Inform your manager once you feel comfortable. If you need support in that area, your people partner can help. Share your leave template with benefits. This is going to arm them with the information that they need to get your leave built into the TILT portal. And then please, please log into TILT after you receive your invitation. And it's really just that simple. Once that leave is in the portal, you enjoy your time away. We hope that this information was helpful to you. And of course, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to your benefits manager, Myra Barnett. Take care.
