This week's fishing report includes stocked lakes, good water temperatures, and recommended baits for different fish species. Lost Creek Lake has been stocked with trout, Immigrant Lake is good for largemouth bass and trout fishing, Willow Lake has a favorable water temperature for largemouth bass fishing, and Immigrant Lake is great for live crappie fishing. Hyatt Reservoir and Howard's Prairie have slow bites with soft baits and bladed jigs recommended. Lake of the Woods is warming up, with smallmouth bass hitting on square bills and trout diving deeper. Agate Lake has bluegill hitting well and largemouth bass on spinners. Fish Lake Trout is good for rainbow trout using rainbow power bait. Enjoy fishing and check out Terrible at Fishing on YouTube and the weekly show on Gold Country Radio KKFO 103.3 FM. Time now to go to Michael Ruffino with Terrible at Fishing for your Gold Country Radio Fishing Report. This is your Terrible at Fishing fishing report for the week of June 24th, 2024. So what have we got in the basin area for this week? Well Lost Creek Lake last week was stocked with 11,500 trout, 10,000 legal, 1,500 trophies. Immigrant Lake should be kicking it up for some big largemouth bass and a lot of trout fishing. Willow Lake is at 63 degrees water temp, which is really good. If you use bladed jigs and Texas rigs, you'll be getting some of those post-spawn largemouth bass. Immigrant Lake is at 70 degrees, which is awesome. I mean, topwater, lipless, spinners will be catching your largemouth there. Live crappie fishing is just killer. Of course, I always tell you that, but if you want to catch some great panfish, go to Immigrant. They're big and they're fun. Hyatt Reservoir, 64 degrees water temperature, soft baits. The bite is slow and the suggestion is to work the bottom. Howard's Prairie right next to it is also at the same temp, bladed jigs, low water, and also the bite is slow there. Lake of the Woods, 67 degrees and warming up. We should be seeing some really good surface temperatures in the next week or so with the warming temperatures. The smallmouth bass are hitting. Small square bills are working really well in shallow divers. Work those and just enjoy those smallies. Trout, you're starting to see them dive. They're about 20 feet plus in depth. They just stocked at the Aspen last week. Work that northern drop off for trout. Agate Lake, bluegill are hitting very well and largemouth on spinners. Last but not least is Fish Lake Trout, 15 feet plus. Rainbow trout are hitting on rainbow power bait. That is this week's fishing report and not a whole lot of stocking happening this week in our lakes. As the water warms up, that will slow down dramatically. Enjoy fishing and check out Terrible at Fishing on YouTube and my show every Friday at 7 o'clock here on this channel.
