Bee Feature

Hi guys, this is Emily from Office of Admissions, and as you can tell by my very tantalizing dance, we are here to see the beautiful beekeeping club event. When we came in, we saw so many different things happening. There was a lot of equipment, and honey, we're not pulling your leg. Things were about to get real. We first started by scraping the wax seals off the combs, which would be used later for lip balm and candles for other events. Elsie is much better at me than scraping, so here she is. And with the capless shells of combs, we then put them into a spinning machine that removed the honey from the comb. Look at the g-force on that thing, or should I say, bee-force. Then we poured the raw honey into a filter system, which purified it of any remaining wax. It was very bizarre, because I didn't realize the amount of times honey has to be filtered. But regardless, once it was filtered, we gave each other a high five, and poured that sucker into cups. They were also selling jars. Yum. So here's our honey. Shout out to Cory and Elsie for helping me film this. And what made it truly unbelievably awesome was getting slam dunked by a bunch of mini-bees. Guys, I think my dance worked.
