In this message, Sister Melissa shares that God is preparing us for what lies ahead. She reads from the book of Genesis and talks about how God made a covenant with Abraham. She emphasizes the importance of protecting what God entrusts us with and encourages listeners to listen to God even in difficult times. She also highlights that our obedience and faithfulness will have an impact on future generations. Sister Melissa concludes by reminding listeners to seek God's guidance and align themselves with His will. Maybe midnight or midday, never early, never late Hello everyone, Sister Melissa here. Yep, I am back with a message from the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to let someone out there know that you are not alone. Help is on the way. God is getting ready to move on your behalf. But before that great day comes, you need to understand that God is going to prepare us. Yes, He is going to prepare you for what lies ahead. Hallelujah! It is 10am, September 5th, 2023. The Lord has placed within the core of my spirit a message that is going to align us for God's purpose. A message that is going to help us and is going to bring us and launch us into the season that God wants us to be in. The book I will be reading from is the book of Genesis. Hallelujah! Oh, I feel deep down in the core of my spirit that God is about to speak to us all this morning. And the Word of God says, here in the book of Genesis, chapter 15, starting with verse 7. And the Word of God says, Then he brought all these things to him and cut them in two down the middle and placed each piece opposite the other. But he did not cut the birds in two. And when the vultures came down on the car cases, Abram drove them away. Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram. And behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him. Then he said to Abram, Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. And also the nation whom they serve I will judge. Afterward they shall come out with great possessions. Now as for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace. You shall be buried at a good old age. But in the fourth generation they shall return here, for the iniquities of the Amorites is not yet complete. And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates. Hallelujah. Lord, Father, God, I pray that you bless this word right now. I pray, Lord, Father, God, that as you give the word forth to minister, I pray let it minister first and foremost to my inner being. Lord, Father, God, I pray that your word, Father, God, it goes through the hearts of those, Lord, who need a word from you today, whether it is a word of encouragement, a word of admonishment, Lord, Father, God, a word, Lord, Father, God, that is going to edify our spirit, a word that is going to correct us, a word that is going to bring us to where we need to be in the season that we are in. I just pray, Father, God, that those who are hearing under the sound of my voice, that the Holy Spirit who works all things in us through what Jesus Christ has done on the cross to redeem and to save us by the shedding of his blood, that we pay attention and that you cause our spiritual ears to open, our spiritual eyes to open, and that we will be attentive to what you are trying to say to us in this season that we are in. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Jesus. And thank you, Holy Spirit. In your name, Jesus, we pray. Amen and amen. The Lord gave me this word this morning, and he told me to let my people know that help is on the way, that as I have spoken and I have used my prophets to prophesy of the coming events, I need someone to hear this morning and to know that as God has predestined your life to do great and mighty works in and through Jesus, you've got to know that God is going to permit you, just like he did to Abraham, to fall into a sleep, to fall into a slumber, but not so that you can stay without doing anything. No, no, no. It is so that God can begin to reveal things to you that are going to happen in the coming generations because God is getting ready to do something big, because God is calling those who are willing to be used by God to be in a season where everything may be still, everything may seem like it's not moving, everything may seem static for a moment, but God is getting ready to reveal, yes, to you and to me, things that are going to be happening in the seasons to come. Notice that when God had given the prophecy, he had said to Abraham that as he took him out of the place of Ur, the place of the Chaldeans, he said, I'm going to take you out to give you a land to inherit. And Abram says to God, how will I inherit it? And God says, this is what I need you to do, Abram. You are going to go find me a three-year-old heifer, that's number one, a three-year-old female goat, that's number two, a three-year-old ram, that's number three, a turtle dove, that's four, and a young pigeon, that is five. Now, biblically speaking, the number five represents grace. God was showing Abram grace. Although we question God and we ask God, how will I do this? You let me know that you are going to take me out of where I am. You let me know you're going to see me through. But how is it that I am going to inherit such a big portion of your blessing? And God says, just like he did to Abraham, there are five things I need you to do. And the five things that represent my grace that is over your life. Notice that the three out of the five needed to be cut in half. Three represents the trinity. And there is two, two working side by side. Oh, there's more that can be accomplished when there's two. Because the Bible says two is better than one. And three, hallelujah, cannot be easily broken. So God commanded, hallelujah, Abram to not cut the two that were left. And so when God gave Abram this command, the Bible says that before the sun went down, that Abram, because the car cases that were there, all the vultures were trying to eat them. Come on now, everybody's got to understand one thing. That in God's mighty path, when God assigns you to something great, and he commands you to do something, you are going to have to protect what God entrusts you with. We are going to have to protect what God has committed into our grasp. And just like Abram, he started, hallelujah, to drive away all the vultures that were trying to come in and disrupt, hallelujah, what God was doing in that moment. And the Bible says that when the sun was going down, it caused Abram to fall into a deep slumber, a deep sleep. And the Bible says, behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him. Then God began, oh, this is so amazing. Then God, in the horror and the terror that Abraham was encountering, then God revealed to Abram and said, certainly you must know that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs and will serve them. I want to let somebody know out there, you may be encountering the worst time in your life, but it is the best time in your life to hear from God, to hear what God is saying, not only to you, but for your descendants, that what you are doing now is going to have an effect on what your generation and the generations to come will experience all off of your obedience to listen to God, even when you've got to go through the valley, even when you've got to go through the mountains that maybe sometimes take a turn for the worst and we need to start heading downward into the valley, into the pits, but it's there where God wants to reveal something so great that will cause right now whatever you are going through to launch you and your family and the generations to come into a future that you in this moment cannot possibly comprehend. Oh, but God is with you. God is for you. God will never leave you. God will never forsake you. Because God promises to be with us when the fire rises seven times hotter. God promises to be with us when we're walking through high waters and the waves of life rise higher than we could have ever imagined. God says that after the descendants, the fourth generation has to go through what they must go through and that is the captivity of them being in Egypt for a time. They will come out with great possession. Let me tell you something. If you are going through it right now, you need to lift your hands and you need to give honor and glory to God because he's using you, hallelujah, as the staging ground for your descendants, for your generation and the generations to come to the thousandth and ten thousandth generation for them to be blessed, for them to inherit the promises, for them to inherit the blessings that God has. Oh, because what we do today, hallelujah, it will not be in vain. It will, hallelujah, manifest for the generations to come. Oh, hallelujah, I believe this is a word for us now who are planting the seed so that those, hallelujah, later on, they will see the manifestation of what God was doing in and through your life and they will give God the honor and God the glory for what he has done in and through you. Hallelujah. Oh, Jesus, I thank you for your word. I thank you for your promises. You are great and mighty to be praised. Hallelujah. Oh, I pray this has blessed you. And I just pray that God continues to speak to your life in his word, in your prayer time, whether it is a prophet that comes to you sent by God himself or whether you are in Bible study or whether you are in Bible class, whatever it is God has aligned you to be a part of, let it be conformed to his will and not our own. I pray this has blessed you. Until the next time, bye-bye for today.
