Oh my gosh, welcome to my first ever podcast, my first ever podcast episode. I have been waiting to start this podcast because I felt like I needed more information on podcasts and I needed to find out more about how I start one the right way and do everything right. I needed to know what topics I was going to talk about and who I was going to have on the podcast. I had so many unanswered questions and I still do, but I learned in 2024, the best way to figure things out is not by collecting more information, but by doing. The results of my own actions are the best method of learning. Here I am, 2025, putting out my first podcast, not knowing everything about podcasts, not even knowing if this is going to work. Hello and thank you for being here. I just wanted to be a voice of somebody who believes in big dreams and believes in that childhood phrase of anyone can do whatever they put their mind to. I want this to be a place for you to come to for positivity and motivation and maybe some even tough love. This is my first podcast. You can skip it and go to my 300th podcast one day, but I'm glad you're here. I'm so excited about what I want to offer on this podcast and people I want to talk to and have conversations. The name, The Photographer's Couch, I just feel like it's such a wide variety of meanings. Of course, I am a photographer and I have a lot of photography friends. I have a lot of business owner friends and people that I talk to and connect with. I'm also a mom. I'm a mom of three boys. I just feel like The Photographer's Couch is just a place that you can come, sit down, and have a conversation with me. I'm looking forward to where this podcast is going to go, but today it's just clicking on record, recording my first podcast, putting it out there in the world, and just getting started with it. That's just what I am doing and that is what I am here to encourage you to do. What you need to do is just take action and you never know where it's going to go. The best way to learn is by doing. That is what I'm doing. We'll see what happens. I hope to see you on the next episode of The Photographer's Couch.
