The unanimous declaration of the 13 United States of America, when in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and the nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. To that, secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it and to institute new government. Laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness, prudence indeed will dictate that the governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes. And then in that Declaration of Independence, there's a whole list of abuses that the government did to the people. And when they had stated them, they come back and say, And we therefore, the representatives of the United States of America in General Congress, assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions due in the name and by the authority of good people of these colonies, solemnly publish and declare that these united colonies are, and of right ought to be free and independent states, that they are absolved from all allegiances to the British crown and that all political connection between them and the state of Great Britain is and ought to be totally dissolved, that it's free and independent states. They have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right do. And for the support of this declaration with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor. And one of the men that signed that is dead now. Many of them for signing it. I saw a little poster picture on Facebook the other day, and I reposted it. It had a picture of a crowd of people, and they were all bowed down, and one man standing out in front of them with a whip. And then the next picture was a whole crowd of people bowed down and one man standing up, and the tyrant with a whip was still out there. And then the next one showed a whole crowd of people bowed down, but a small group of people standing up, and the tyrant had the whip. That's where we're at. That's where we're at right now. The next picture showed all the people standing up, and the tyrant bowed down. See, it just takes a spark. It takes a start. It takes one person that will witness to somebody else that leads to revival and salvation. It takes one person to stand up at a school board meeting to say, we ain't having that, to start a group standing up. It takes one person to stand up at the board of supervisors meeting and say, we don't approve of this water deal. It might be good for a whole group to show up for that. A lot of questions to be asked. We live in a nation that was founded on God's principles by godly people. And this nation has been blessed above all nations on the face of this earth. And for the most part, this nation has prospered and evangelized the entire world. I have many friends that are foreign missionaries. Funny part about it is, when the government was attacking me and my church group back in Texas, my lawyer got saved. And he's been a missionary in Nepal, in Papua New Guinea, the headhunters. Lawyer gave up a million-dollar-a-year business because God saved him and put him in the world. McMandy. This nation's founded on God's principles. We've gotten away from them. Every nation on the face of this earth that got away from God's ways and lived paganist lives, God let the enemy destroy them. Greece, Rome. My goodness, we're studying the chronological Bible in the brown pen on Wednesday nights. And time after time after time, Israel was saved. And then they prospered. And they forgot God. And they got off into sin. And then God's judgment beat them down again. Our nation's getting judged right now. We're getting judged. Proverbs 18.10 says, The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it. And it's safe. You know, none of us have our own righteousness. But God gives us the righteousness of his Son. Covers us in his righteousness. When we go along with God's plan and believe and trust him. Proverbs 29.2 says, Wicked man rules, people groan. Psalms 125.3 says, How do you do right? You get along with God. How do you get along with God? Live your life. Prayed up. Fessed up. Well fed. Proverbs 28.15, Like a roaring lion and a rushing bear is a wicked ruler over poor people. Woe to those who enact evil statutes. And to those who constantly record unjust decisions. What we got for justice in this country anymore? There's wickedness in high places, folks. It's time to stand up. Most of those that stood up in the Declaration of Independence. A bunch of them preachers. Preachers need to stand up for truth and righteousness and preach the truth. What's the truth? Learn how to get along with God. Go by his plan. Because eternity is a long time. That's right. Micah 7.3 says, Both hands do it well. I picture the problem in our nation. I had Norm make me a little picture thing. It's got the United States on it. Red, white and blue. Just outline the United States. And flying over the top of that United States is a buzzard. And that buzzard's got a red wing and a blue wing. And they're both trying to pick the bones. For the United States, their goal is to defeat the nation God started to evangelize the world. And the world hates the United States. Any country you go to, they like your money. But they don't like Americans. Not so much. Isaiah 1.23 says, Your rulers are rebels and companions of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe and chases after rewards. They do not defend the orphan. Nor does the widow's plea come before them. Ezekiel 22.27 says, Her princes within her are like wolves tearing the prey. By shedding blood and destroying lives in order to get this honest gain. And you know that package of chicken you bought the other day. It wasn't grown in Bill Gates' laboratory. Because they're doing it now. They don't have to tell you. Doesn't that make you feel good? I'm going to have to go back cleaning chickens. I hate that. Man, I'd rather clean six rabbits than one chicken. I'd like to eat them. The Lord enters into judgment with the elders and princes of his people. It is you who have devoured the vineyard. The plunder of the poor is in your houses. Exodus 9.13 The Lord said unto Moses, He gives us a good example. The Lord said to Moses, Rise up early in the morning. And stand before Pharaoh. And say unto him, Thus saith the Lord God unto Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. This is the call of the Holy Spirit of each one of us. Because we're in bondage to the sinfulness of this world. And it is slavery. It's bondage. Drugs, alcohol, pornography. For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, that thou mayest know that there's none like me in all the earth. For now I'll stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence. See this instruction God gave Moses to go stand up to Pharaoh. Stand up to him. He was facing certain death for doing that. So he goes to stand up in front of people of our government. And all they do is say the ATF, the FBI, the IRS, the Justice Department. But I'll stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence. And thou shalt be cut off from the earth. Moses was to go tell him that. And he said, In very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, Moses, for to show in thee my power, that my name may be declared throughout the earth. As yet exaltest thou thyself amongst my people, that thou wilt not let them go saying, Oh, really, Pharaoh? God says, and you won't? He says that to you. God says, and you won't. Behold, tomorrow, about this time, I'll cause it to rain very grievous hail. Have you all been seeing any pictures of hail laying up through the Midwest and everything, the size of softballs? It's really hard on the wheat crop. It's really harder on anything that's outside. Behold, tomorrow, about this time, I'll cause it to rain very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt against the foundation thereof even until now. Send therefore now and gather thy cattle and all that thou hast in the field, for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field shall not be brought home. The hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die. I can't imagine getting hit by a hailstorm falling 50,000 feet the size of a softball. It'd probably dent a roof. He that feared the word of the Lord among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses. You see, even in the government, some of the servants in the government were believers. I believe we have a little hope there. Whistleblowers come forth, right? And he that regarded not the word of the Lord left his servants and his cattle in the field. Big mistake. And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there shall be hail in the land of Egypt upon man and upon beast and upon all the fields throughout the land of Egypt. Moses stretched forth his rod towards heaven, and the Lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along the ground. You ever seen ground lightning? And the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt. So there was hail and fire mingled with hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast. And the hail smote every grain in the field, every herb, and break every tree of the field. But only in the land of Goshen where the Jews lived, only in the land of Goshen where the children of Israel were, was there no hail. God's got a way of protecting His people. He did it then. He's doing it now. It would be a good time to really hang on to Him. We ain't no match with powers of evil. And it's not because we're not brave enough or strong enough. It's because they have a higher authority than we have in the flesh. It's God's creation. God created powers, principalities, wickedness in high places and sin that has more power and authority than man does in the flesh. If we had power and authority over all those things, Jesus wouldn't need to die for us. We could have just been perfect by ourselves, right? But there's power and authority over us. It's like I'm describing an army. Man is a raw buck recruit. Sin is a drill sergeant. And there's powers and authorities and wickedness in high places above that. But above all of them is the commander-in-chief. And when we believe and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, God gives us the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit, establishes a relationship with God, and He treats us like His kid. He gave us mom and dads on this earth so we could learn how to get along with God. Couldn't have made us an apple or a peach. But we learned obedience. We have a mom and dad that said, Don't do that. That hurts you. It's getting dark. Come in. It's supper time. Wash your hands. God gave us mom and dad so we'd learn how to get along with God. We have an example. What's the devil done? Society has absolutely attacked and destroyed family structures so that so many of our people today haven't had a structure to learn how to get along with God. It's destroyed society. You've got to learn how to get along with God. That's the mission of Cowboy Church. I've been in church 30 years. Nobody ever taught me how to get along with God. I was so frustrated in my Christian life because I wanted to mind. I wanted to obey. I wanted to be a little Jesus. I thought if I made that public confession and got baptized, I'd be a little Jesus. I wouldn't act like that and do that stuff anymore. The next day after I was baptized, I was back in there. I didn't know how to get along with God. But I knew how to get along with my mom and dad. When I messed up, I fessed up. I went back and said, Dad, I was wrong. I'll get it done. That's the way it is with God. When we come back, we establish the relationship with him and we believe in his plan. And he puts his spirit in us to keep us and protect us and give us power over sin and over the evil. But to exercise that power, you have to be in fellowship, which means obey. And when you mess up, you fess up. If you want to have the power of God in your life. Paul called it walking in the spirit. I wish he'd have said, it's like minding your mom and dad. I would have understood that. I was in church 30 years and never learned that. Well, the hell come down, killed everything around. Pharaoh sent, he called Moses back and he said unto him, Pharaoh said, I have sinned this time. The Lord is righteous. And I and my people are wicked. Boy, he had that right. Entreat the Lord. We've had enough. Let there be no more mighty thunderings in hell. And he says, if you'll get God to stop it, I'll let you go. Good intentions, right? Good intentions. Moses said unto him, as soon as I'm gone out of here, I'm going to spread broad my hands unto the Lord and the thunder shall cease and neither shall be any more hail. That thou mayest know how that the earth is the Lord's. More evidence for Pharaoh. Moses said, let it start. Now he's saying, stop. It started and then it stopped. But as for thee and thy servants, know that ye will not fear the Lord God. Some people just won't believe. I've got a theory about that. In my heart of hearts is my prayer that not one seed of Adam be lost and be victory, victory for Satan. Not one. But we know that there is also the seed of the serpents. That's where giants come from. That's where a lot of evil comes from. They're messing with it now, the DNA. They're trying to change your DNA. They're trying to feed you DNA stuff that's changed so it will change your DNA. Because they want the seed of the serpents embedded in you. That you can't hear. You can't see. You can't understand. And like it says. What does it say? The name of the Lord is a strong tire. The righteous runneth into it and is safe. Safe from what? Safe from the onslaught of Satan and his seed. Ye are God, little children. And you've overcome them because greater is he that's in you than he that is in the world. What's in you? When you believe and trust, God himself dwells in you. The form of the Holy Spirit. It's your tire of righteousness to hide in. To exercise the righteousness of God in your life. You'll be prayed up, fessed up, well fed. Well, that just sounds too simple. Then do it. Got no excuse. Use the power. Use the power of God in your life every day. I'll give you one of your Bibles. You read it. Put God's word in your mind and your heart. You don't have to understand it. Nobody else does, you know. But when you read that, you're uploading the data of God's word up to your hard drive. And it's data input. Well, for young people here. Data input. And you know what God has given you? A Google that indwells you. It's that Holy Spirit. That's your Google. So when a question comes up or an activity or something comes up in your life. That you have to make a decision. Do I go to the right or to the left? What do I do? You Google it. God's word says thus and so. Then you can make a sound decision based on God. God's word. You can act in obedience. You're walking in the Spirit. Walking in the Spirit of God with His power. And with His authority. You see, with His power and authority in your life. The book private has the power and authority of the commander in chief. Over the drill sergeant. And all the wickedness in high places. And you have His protection. His power. His understanding. You have peace. You have joy. And it's for all of eternity. And eternity is a long time. Yeah. Go outside and stand in the sun. See what you think about that. And if you haven't made it right with God through Jesus Christ. It's probably hotter in hell. Than it is outside. Here in Arizona. I saw a cartoon the other day where some folks from Arizona went to hell with Kool-Aid. They must have slipped in bull head. Dear God, little children. And have overcome then. Because greater is he that's in you than he that is in the world. Ephesians 6.10 says, Finally, my brethren. Paul always had this way of saying finally when he was about halfway through his message. I pick right up on that. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. What's he saying? He's saying being prayed up, fessed up, well fed. That's what he's saying. Be power. Be strong in the power. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Because that devil is roaring around the world seeking whom he may devour. He says, We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. I heard of that recently. Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day. And having done all to stand. You know, I firmly believe that there's three precious metals. Three precious metals. God's money in the temple is gold and silver. I think Jesus is telling us lead is precious metal. Because one of the last things Jesus told His disciples fighting in Luke 22, 35, 36. He says, Before, He said, I sent you out with nothing like sheep for the wolves. But I'm telling you today, if all you got left is your coat, you go hock it and buy an AK-47. Well, He said sword, but that was the most modern weapon they had at that time. Jesus said a man well armed can protect his castle and hold his goods. There might be something to that. You know, God's given us a warning. We read the book, we can see what's coming down the line. Better have some beans put back. Better have some water. Better have some precious metal. How to get along with God? Prayed up, fessed up, well fed. Psalms 103, 17 says, But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting. That's eternity. To everlasting. That's eternity. And eternity upon them that fear Him and His righteousness unto children's children. You mean how you act might affect your children or your grandchildren? It might. As a matter of fact, the Word says it does. It does. To such as keep His covenant and to those that remember His commandments and to do them. God gave your kids mom and dad so that your kids could learn how to get along with God. So that they wouldn't be easily overcome by a devil that wants to destroy them. That give you some responsibility, mom and dad? Learn how to get along with God? Do it right? Raise those kids in God's way. And grandma and grandpa and great grandma and grandpa. Don't hurt to keep reminding that generations down there. There's lots of stuff that distract them and they forget stuff nowadays. What must I do to be saved? Jailer is in trouble. Earthquake come, shook jail apart. Paul and Cyrus been in there arrested for preaching. God shook the jail apart. In Roman times, the sheriff, if his prisoners got away, it's a death penalty for the sheriff. It's his fault. Earthquake, it's his fault. Jail fell down, prisoners got away, it's his fault. Killing. He thought he was going to die because the jail shook apart. Then he heard Paul and Cyrus in there. He said, don't hurt yourself. Sheriff, we're still here. You know what the sheriff said? What must I do to be saved? Because he knew eternity is here. And he didn't want to spend it with the rest of the Romans in the government. And they told him, they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. In that house. Because see, you can take salvation to your kids. And if you live it before them, the Bible says, train child up in the way he should go. And him not to part from it. Is that responsibility on your shoulders? Sure is. Romans 10, 9 says, if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, shalt believe in thine heart that God's raising from the dead, thou shalt be saved. It ain't belonging to the right group. It ain't being born into the right group. It ain't joining the right group. It ain't beating tambourines just right or jumping over pews. It's believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Trust me. One time. Believe. One time. Is all it takes for God to put his spirit in you to keep you for all eternity, protected in his kingdom. Believe. We hold these truths to be self-evident. That all men are created equal. And they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. That among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The only way I've ever had any peace and joy in my life is when I'm obedient to God and pray that we're fenced up and well fed. Whiskey used to make me happy. But I didn't have any joy. I didn't have any peace that comes from being in fellowship with God. I wish being baptized would save people. You know, if we could just do that. Because I'd take my AK and run everybody off down the river down there because I don't want the devil to have one victory. Not one. Because hell's hotter than Arizona. And eternity. Dear Heavenly Father, I just thank you, Lord, for the blessings of the day. For each one that's come here today, Father, just open our hearts. Give us a hunger, Father, to want to get along with you, Father. We thank you for your grace and your mercy and your patience, Father, for loving us. For providing for us, for protecting us. For the opportunities you give us and for prospering us, Father. We just thank you, Lord, for your patience with us, Father. And for granting us the great privilege of knowing you in truth. Father, put it in our hearts to have a desire to be in your words so we know the path to follow. And give us hearts that will fess up so we have the power to follow those paths, Father.
