The plan will be communicated to site administrators, families, and community members. Data supporting the plan will be shared with administrators. Families and community members will be informed through flyers, the school's class dojo page, website, social media, and the school marquee. Information will be translated for non-English speaking families. The plan aims to engage families and promote diversity in the school. We will communicate this plan with our site administrators, families, and community members. We will make accommodations for non-English speaking audiences as well. To communicate this plan effectively to site administrators, we will need to share the data that we found to support the need for this plan to start. We will also need to keep administrators up to date on all of the data collected during the initial implementation of this plan, as well as the ongoing progression. To communicate with families and community members, we will do so in multiple ways. We will send home flyers with students, post communication on the school's class dojo page, as well as the school's website and social media pages. We will also put the information out on the marquee that is located outside of the school. To reach families and community members that are non-English speaking, we will translate all information that is sent home into the family's native language. This portion of the plan will reach NEPS Standard 4 Family Engagement Indicators 1 and 2. The teacher regularly facilitates two-way communication with parents and guardians using available tools that are responsive to their language needs and includes parent-guardian requests and insights about the goals of instruction and student progress. Also, the teacher values, respects, welcomes, and encourages students and families of all diverse cultural backgrounds to become active members of the school and views them as valuable assets to the students' learning.
