I dropped it in. Minority right? Take care of themselves. Would this guy be good in any other sport? Wow dude, Pickleball, you're in, we might as well stop the podcast once you get into the cult. Like, let's face it dude, your life is Pickleball. Oh, that was great, like, I'm out of shape dude, I get, I could play, like I'm in good enough shape to play because I've been playing a lot, but I notice now, like, if I don't play for like two weeks, like, if you, the thing about hoops, if you play defense, if you legitimately play defense, it's tiring as hell. You're just running fast breaks, full court, and you're kind of like, you know, make it down the court every, two out of every three laps, or two out of four, it's not as tiring as playing strong D in a half court, in a half court set. And I had, I was playing with three young guys, we had a guy who can, we had the nice mix of, you had a nice point guard, a guy dude who could dribble, distribute, who could also shoot, attack the rim, me, just basically, I'm like Shaquille O'Neal down here, so a tall guy that can board a little bit, and then one dude that just does, just runs, like all day, just runs and does a little bit of everything, and then a dude that can shoot, and they're all probably under 23. So we had a nice team, but when you play with a nice team and everyone's hustling, you want to hustle. I was putting, I was giving it my all, and we won probably nine games in a row, and the last game we lost just strictly because I wasn't getting it done. I was just like, alright, go ahead and take that shot, I'm not going to contest that. So it was great, but you know now, like as you get older, it's not that you can't play necessarily, you might be a step slower, but it's just that you have, everything has to be perfect for you to play well, like you've got to eat right, I can't, you know, I play better if I ate three hours before the game, I've got to drink water, just to play a pickup basketball game, I've got to make sure that everything's perfect. And then, if I don't play for two weeks, I'm like, shit, I'm kind of tired. So that's what it's about at an older age, I don't think it's like you give up because you can't play a sport, you know, but you've got to think about it a little more. Even like, I've never stretched in my life, like I've never been a big stretcher, and I'm like, or maybe not stretch, but warm up, like it's way more important for me now to like shoot around or jog for 15 minutes before we play than ever before. Yeah, but then I'm like, am I taking away energy that I could put into that last, last 10 minute game where I'm, where I'm, because I got to, I really need to like work up a sweat now to get, to feel good. Where I used to just show up and be like, let's go, I probably sucked then too, maybe I just never thought about it without warming up. But due to, due to injury, right, or just due to age, you think, or just legit, like I thought it was your knee was like, uh-uh. Right. I'm not playing with anybody like that, dude. Hey, there's some good players, but, but you put yourself in a competitive league, so. Of course, bro. Yeah. The league, what I'm doing is like that, but it's not organized. Like, but what's cool here is if you're in a club, like Luca, my son's nine, he's in this club called Roswell, he could play with that club until he's 80. Like, but they keep having leagues, like they have a, I don't know, it's like a Masters or something, you know, like 45 to 50. They keep bracketing. I don't, maybe after 50 you're done, unless you can play, but, but it's, it's kind of cool. Like, you just keep, you keep staying in that group and you can get to like a first division, which is essentially like the professional league here. And then, and then you can like cruise on up through the, through the rankings. And it's, and it's always like a lot of the games are televised and stuff. I don't know who's watching, but it's pretty funny. The essential of being on like, like cable access or something, but still kind of cool. You would dig this thing. Yeah. It's those males, 2000, so it's three, $3 and 85 cents. Like we cap it at 24 people should cap it a little less, but everybody wants to play, play half court for like an hour. And then you run full court after a few of the fatter people get tired. No offense, fat people. I love you. Keep listening. We need your participation. But I used to be one of them, so I can say that, but yeah, it's nice to have something that's organized. It's not organized. It's just something you can count on, you know? And the thing here is like, I can always go to the park, but there's eight months of hardcore rain, so this is something you can count on. When you come down, dude, I'm going to get you a spot. And if you're playing offense and someone's giving you not playing defense, the game is so much different than when someone's checking your ass up. And like, even to the point where they're fouling you, where they don't care, it's like, fine. Pick up game. So if you call foul, then back up in your grill. Like, there was a young kid on me last night. It's just like, he's a lot shorter than me, so he goes so intense to make up for the height. It's just like, dude, calm down. But I can post his ass up.
