Martin encourages viewers to engage and subscribe for an exciting journey of digital transformation. Hello and welcome everyone. My name is Martin Chaga and this is Market Hacks Unplugged. It's our first episode and we're finally ready to share it with you guys. Yes, so I want to first of all wish you a happy, happy new year. In fact, let's do an intro or a welcome that year properly so that we can, you know, bless the year and have a great one as we look forward to this one. So, happy, happy new year guys. Happy, happy new year. We grow, continue growing. We become more knowledgeable and, you know, we have fun, we experience growth in all various regards. All right. All right. So, how was your 2024? 2024, from my perspective, was full of many lessons and that is including, you know, personal life, in terms of career-wise, and so on and so forth. 2024 was also a year that, you know, we experienced a lot of innovation. We experienced a lot of new exciting products, you know, the likes of BNNM that came out, you know, that kind of brought new applications into our everyday life. Talk about the OpenAI GPT-4 models and so many other companies that, you know, brought these innovative products into our lives. We also, I think, 2024 was also a year that, you know, we experienced a lot of growth in various regards. Yes, and I hope you, you know, I hope you had some greater support in 2024. And, yeah, 2024 was also a year where we experienced, you know, various uncertainties in regards to our finances. You know, we faced a lot of uncertain times economically as well as politically. And so, we can only give thanks and be glad that we made it to this year. Yeah. So, I'm really happy that you are joining me today so that we can sort of try to map out, you know, how is our year going to be. All right. So, but it's important to say that, you know, that happened, that it's 2024. And in terms of the changes that are happening, we need to appreciate that, you know, in 2025, the pace will only increase or maybe pick up. And that is why we need to be more, stay more informed, be more prepared so that we can be able to adapt or maybe support opportunities when they happen. And we can also be able to take advantage of them. All right. So, and this is the reason why, you know, I decided to kind of come up with a platform where we can all come together. We can share our tools, insights, and strategies to help us in this regard, you know, in dealing with our endeavors, whether, you know, you're doing business or you're probably trying to start something or even you're an established business and you're just looking for growth. Yeah. So, this is a space for you where we are going to be exploring all these tools, insights, and strategies so that you can be successful. All right. So, when we talk about tools, you know, we are talking about things like tailored digital solutions. And we are talking about things like personal portfolio, talking about websites, we're talking about mobile applications, we're talking about e-commerce, we're talking about, you know, all those complex or advanced integrated systems that we can use to enhance our operations in doing business as well as, you know, assuring our personal endeavor. Yes. So, this is something that, you know, we realize that it's not something that is going to happen overnight. And it's something that, you know, we need to share a lot of information, share a lot of, you know, insights on our tools. And so, I thought maybe, you know, we could have a platform where we can be sharing this and it's going to be, you know, exciting and a bit more easier to do these things. All right. So, in that regard, I did my research as well as, you know, I listened to some of the professionals and experts in this field. You know, how do we make our journey of digital transformation easier and much more, you know, much more less painful or maybe fewer mistakes. And how can we make it, you know, in such a way that we achieve success at the end of the day. So, we – or maybe I came up with three themes that I think are key to addressing or maybe to transitioning digitally. So, remember that, you know, we always do our – there are things that we do offline and that could be, you know, how you do your business, maybe how you engage your customers, how you engage your, you know, your followers and so on and so forth. But there's a lot of – as most of us have experienced, there's a lot of opportunity and, you know, a lot of potential in the digital space. And that is why it is important to – as we jump into this space as early as possible so that we can be able to enjoy this. So, one of the things that – or themes that I identified in this regard is technology. So, that's very obvious. So, you know, when you talk about technology, what exactly are we talking about? We're talking about, you know, some of these tailored digital tools that we can use so that we can have online presence, yeah? So, we'll look at them later on. But for now, maybe just have an idea of what you're referring to, all right? And so, in that regard, we also look at, you know, some of the factors or maybe other aspects that are important in technology or maybe in those digital solutions. So, we look at things like digital marketing. You know, once you have your platform, say a website or a mobile app, how then do you make sure that you're able to reach your clients and they know about it? The other thing that is really important is cybersecurity. Remember that there's a lot of data that is being shared through your platform. So, it's important that you're able to, you know, able to process that data securely, safely and in a way that you do not expose or we do not expose ourselves to risks, you know? So, these are some of the conversations that we're going to be having and I'm sure they are going to sort of open us up and be able to get ready for this huge opportunity. The other aspect that we are going to look at or theme is the theme of finance. So, everything happens with some financial implications. So, whether it's a new idea that you're starting up, for example, a startup founder, we'll discuss about or explore some of the options that are there that maybe one can look at and probably get some finance. We're also going to look at some of the smart financial techniques that you can use to, you know, manage those finances once and when you achieve them. We're also going to look at, you know, some of the emerging financial solutions. So, there are so many, you know, peer-to-peer lending options that are there that you can also look at which are exciting. I'm sure there are so many creators in that space. People are trying to come up with some exciting solutions, you know, to kind of make the financial bit a bit less expensive, all right? And the third thing or theme that we'll explore is the theme of markets. So, in this regard, when we talk about markets, we are trying to, you know, be able to understand our customers. So, we are trying to be able to see how do we segment, how do we target, how do we position. Also, we need to understand the environment in which we are conducting business. So, that means, you know, being able to understand some of the trends that are there in the market so that you can be able to maybe understand when is it opportune for you to venture into something. And, you know, you're able to even have projections of how much you can be able to get from that. And thirdly, as a business or, you know, a person, you can be able to, you know, have a sort of a vision of what to expect and maybe how to solve problems before they even happen. Also, we are going to look at things like using data to be able to even come up with better products or maybe be able to serve our customers better. And we are going to see some of these solutions that we are talking about, you know, the digital trailer system, be able to collect that data for us. And then we can be able to use that data to take the experience of the customer or maybe our product and services much better so that, you know, we improve our customer satisfaction, improve, you know, that relationship that you're trying to sort of build with the people that you're looking to engage with. So this is, I would say, I'm excited about this, the prospect of what we can achieve here. You know, when we come together and share our thoughts in this area, we also hope to kind of bring on some key people in this area so that they can be able to probably share their insights, their tools that they normally use in their daily lives. We have people who have succeeded in this effort and I believe, you know, the cake is big so we can kind of share the ideas and try to understand, you know, what can you do on your personal level, at your organization level to improve on whatever you're doing. So let's embark on, you know, this bit together so that we can be able to have exciting times and be able to realize all these, you know, all these promises that you're talking about. All right. So in that regard, I would ask you to, you know, if you feel that this is something that you feel that is something that we can do together that can help us, we'd like you to, you know, kindly share, like and subscribe so that we can have all of you guys here and we can also be able to see, you know, how much we're going to achieve by the end of the year, you know, if that's more than anything, you know, where the journey of digital transformation will definitely take us. All right. So I promise that this is going to be exciting and we're going to basically be able to do all that we can so that we can be able to achieve this goal together. So let us look at the things that I have pointed out, starting with the bit on technology. All right. So when we talk about technology, we are basically referring to the digital solutions that I talked about. So technology, you know, your first step or the foundation of you transitioning into the digital space. So, you know, and in this regard, we're not talking about, you know, very complex things. We're talking about things like your personal portfolio, a simple website, or maybe a website of your business. So remember this is, think of it like, you know, if you have a physical place where you conduct your business, there's a certain way that you have branded that place. You know, you want a customer when they come in to experience a certain, you know, a certain vibe or a certain experience. And it's the same online. So you're trying to put your best foot forward to impress the customer. So when you talk about that, then we need to look at, you know, what are some of the ways that we can do that. And there's so many products. It's not only a website, you can, you know, if your business operations are a bit complex, you can talk about things like, you know, having a mobile app, or maybe even being an e-commerce. And all of this, there's a way, you know, a customer knows you and they need to feel that when they're using that product. They need to feel that this is the brand that I'm, you know, that I'm used to. Yeah, so, so that is going to be our foundation. Basically, understanding how do you put yourself out there online, the same way that you probably have a physical location or people know you. How then do you transition or maybe reflect the same online so that you can achieve greater reach. Remember the online space is quite wide. And you never know who can, who is impressed by, you know, your service or your product. And you have a way to, you know, put your best foot forward and they can be there for you. So in that regard, we'll talk about a few things that are important in that space so that now when someone visits your store, they're able to see some of the products that you have. So remember that for you to have a proper online presence, then you need to understand that, you know, there are so many things happening there. So we've talked about the look and feel of maybe that particular platform, whether it's your website or your mobile app or, you know, your e-commerce platform and so on and so forth. You also need to consider that, you know, there is data that is being processed over there. So we're going to look at some of the safe cybersecurity techniques that can be able to deploy. And obviously, this is something that we can also try to have some expert in this. But they can also be able to feed us or maybe update us. Remember we're trying to stay informed, updated and adaptable so that we basically can be able to handle anything in the regard of digital space. Yeah. So we're going to look at some of the applicable cybersecurity efforts that we can use, you know, from, you know, control and access to making sure that, you know, there's a proper encryption during the design of your product, you know, to things like, you know, if you are doing payment processes, you know, ensuring that those payments are done properly. All right. So this is going to be important and a key aspect of your platform. The other thing that you can look at in that regard is digital marketing. So now you have your platform. So think of it like, you know, when you have your physical shop or you have your physical place where you invite people to come for your service, whether you're a saloonist, a barber shop, or even a photographer, or even a more developed business. You know, how do you go about letting people know where to find you? So there are so many ways, digital strategies that we will be talking about that we can deploy. So it's going to be exciting, you know, things from those search engine optimizations. So how do you do your ads properly so that we can have maximum output? How do you also use, you know, that eventually we have the introduction of the search GPT. So we're able to – sorry, GPT search. So we're able to do things like GAO, that is GPT-optimized content. So when someone – remember that nowadays, you know, apart from things like Google, people are also using, you know, AI a lot, platforms such as chat GPTs to search for things. And you need to be able to, you know, have your content optimized as well in that regard so that when people will be searching for that, they're able also to get your content over there. All right? So that's going to be very important, and I'm sure you're going to have a good time in that regard. So the next thing that you can look at, we talked about, is finance. So let's look at finance. So in terms of finance, there are sort of – it's not all of them, but maybe you can just start with that, you know, start small, and we just need to understand maybe what are the options that are there when I have an idea and I have, you know, done a minimum viable product. By that I mean, you know, something that you can try to show someone what your idea is about, what is your business model, and then you're trying maybe to get a source of funding for that. So there are so many options. You could go for, you know, a bank loan, or maybe, you know, there are so many other options. You can have equity financing, whereby you look for people that can get some shares from your idea, and then in that sense, they do the funding. And then there are also people – we can talk about venture capitals, whereby, you know, you approach this venture capitalist, you show them – that's why we talk about, you know, having a proper pitch deck or something. So you do your pitch deck properly, and then you can try and showcase this to them. You also have venture investors. These come early in your idea, and, you know, they look at your idea, and if they see that this is something viable, then they can put some money on you and help you out. So that's the things that, you know, we all need to share information about. You know, where do you get these people? How can you improve your chances of, you know, getting this? And I believe that when you come together, we're able to share all this information. We have people who have tried this, and, you know, having – hearing from them and getting their experience can help us. So the other thing is we're going to look at smart finance tips. So maybe – this is in terms of how do you manage the resources that you have. However, you know, however leaks they may be, you need to be able to manage those resources so that they can be able to be accountable for the purpose that you intended them to be. So, you know, we can look at, you know, some of the not so expensive products such as QuickBooks for managing your books, and also you can look at some other, you know, frameworks of managing your finances. And I also believe that within our community, we obviously have people who are knowledgeable and experts, and they can offer advice to us so that we can be able to achieve success in this regard. All right. So the last thing, we cannot ignore the alternative sources of finances that are, you know, emerging. So we talked about things like peer-to-peer lending platforms. So we have things – or maybe even crowdsourcing. So we have things like Kickstarter and so many other platforms, you know, where we can look at some smart ways of, you know, getting funded. All right. So this is something that we will also talk about, and we'll have, you know, people that we can ask about them when we are looking at them. So we expect to, you know, have a series of conversations that are, you know, going to help us in this regard. Okay. So I believe in terms of finance, there are so many things that, you know, that we can look at. But for now, let's pick on those three. And then obviously, you know, the conversations are going to be, you know, opening up new conversations, you know, when – and that is the idea, because obviously maybe my scope is narrow, but, you know, when we engage, we'll have a deeper understanding of this issue. So, all right. So now, we said that, you know, we had technology, finance, and we can also look at markets. So let's have a look at markets. So when you talk about markets, you need to remember that, you know, you're trying to solve a certain market. And by market, you know, you can narrow it, or maybe you can, you know, funnel it to your end consumer or maybe the person that you're targeting. And from there, you can try to understand what the needs of this customer are. And then you can start now to, you know, try and craft an enriching product or service for them. So that's why we need to be able to understand, you know, be able to have data. That's why we said that, you know, having these tailored solutions or maybe an online presence, something like a good website, able to, you know, pick a lot of web traffic, and then we can perform, you know, a lot of analytics. You're able to understand, you know, this person visited my website, and they went to the homepage. Probably, you know, they went to the About section, or probably they visited a certain product. So now once you get all that information, you're able to sort of understand your customer better. You're able to know that, you know, I have, you know, customers who are looking at this, and maybe they want to get, you know, this and this product. So we are going to look at, explore all these strategies, insights, and tools that can, you know, help us to stay updated in this regard. In addition to that, you're going to obviously need to be able to understand what are the prevailing market conditions. And remember, you need to understand what is the, you know, what is the financial, or maybe what is the purchasing power of my prospect or that target consumer, so that you can be able to even make some proper pricing strategy for this customer. Yeah, so you need to understand what are the prevailing market conditions, you know, and what, and that is, you can understand, there are so many sources of that. You can look at reports, you know, really quick reports about, you know, various markets. So I believe in this regard as well, you have, you know, very, very good market researchers, and who are knowledgeable and who we can use to share this insight. So we are going to rely on data and all that to be able to point us in the right direction. The last step is in terms of regulation that is in markets, government policies and regulations. We need to understand, you know, what are some of the regulations that are there. For example, you have the e-commerce platform, you need to understand what are the, you know, digital policies that are there in terms of how do you handle data, so that you can avoid any issues of, you know, poor data management, which is a risk, which can be having financial implications, or maybe, you know, if you manage to collect data and, you know, God forbid, you are attacked by, you know, through cyber attacks, and then, you know, people are not going to be able to trust your platform. And you need to, you know, to understand maybe even the implications in terms of the regulations are still there. So yeah, so these are just some of the techniques that we are looking at. We also look at, we need to look at the data-driven research, and that is what I was talking about when you have these platforms, whether you are using, you know, we optimize our even social media pages, our websites for, you know, collecting more data. So what do you do with that data? What do you do when you understand that, you know, I have received this amount of traffic, if you are able to kind of segment it, these people are, you know, this age, and they are located in this place, you know, they visit my site at this time. And so you are able to even offer better services and products for them. So understanding and having proper market analysis is important so that we can be able to achieve all this. So I believe that, you know, if we understand these things well, then we can be able to have better chances of, you know, making it. So for today, so basically in a nutshell, that is basically some of the things that we are going to look at. And to start as well, we can start looking at the foundations. And when we talk about the foundations, we are talking about, you know, how can you get started in this journey of digital transformation. Maybe you only have maybe some of your social media platforms, and you would like to, you know, you would like to have a better online presence, so that you can be able to aggregate more data, be able to serve your customers better, be able to express yourself better online, like we said. So according to research, you know, one of the most important things, one of the most important platforms that businesses need to have is a website. So having a website is a really important platform because then you are able to kind of bring everybody who approaches you through these platforms there. So you are able to, you know, be able to capture all the traffic that is coming from different sources, be it SEO, be it your social media accounts, be it your, you know, be it your other platforms, your CRMs, and so on and so forth. So you need to be able to understand or maybe have a website that is able to capture all that. So I believe that, you know, having that is important so that you can be able to deliver quality. All right. So if we were to look at a website, we need to understand some of the things that, you know, for your website to have the right or maximum impact, there are some features that you need to have. You know, so as I said, you are trying to impress your customer. So they need to see you in a certain way, you know. So there are certain features that you need to have in your website that we can look at. So maybe let's look at some of these features that you can be able to see or maybe you can be able to have maximum impact on SEO. All right. So as you can see here, that is a chat that is, sorry, we're studying some information about, you know, some of the features that you need so that you can have your platform that is proper. And number one, we need to have our platforms be as responsive as possible. By responsive, I mean, you know, if someone accesses or maybe reads your page using a mobile phone, they should be able to have sort of a very good design that, you know, that responds to that screen size. So when they access the same using a laptop, then the content or maybe your website should be or your application should be able to respond to that. So when we talk about responsiveness, we're basically referring to how flexible or maybe how responsive, I'm just using the same word, but, you know, I'm just trying to say how your content adapts to the screen size that the user uses. So this is very important so that you can be able to achieve as many eyeballs from all directions, whether you're using mobile phones, whether your client prefers using tablets or whether they prefer using laptops or whether they prefer using bigger screens, okay? So the second feature that we can look at which can, you know, enhance our look and feel is having great user experience. And we talk about having a great user experience. It's about, you know, how is the layout of your website. You know, when a user visits there, how do they feel? It's like when you walk into, you know, a mall that is well-organized, you know, you have – it gives you a certain kind of feeling. So you want to spend some time there. You want to interact with the offerings that are there. And it's the same way, you know, you should be able to walk through a website quite easily. So you should be able to navigate well, have proper menus, should be able to, you know, have proper layout, have proper branding in such a way that, you know, you're able to access what you want. And once you're done, you can, you know, exit properly or in a nice way. Another thing that we can look at or a feature that I would recommend you to make sure is there in your platform is making sure that your platform or your website, if it's a website, loads very fast, you know. So remember you're competing for this online customer. So the moment someone is trying to search for something and maybe your page is taking too long to load, you know, then they are likely going to, you know, to stop coming to that page and they're going to go to one that is able to load really fast so that they can be able to get what they want and be able to view your website. Remember you're searching or you're competing for your customer's time as well. They have other things to do. So you need to or we need to be able to ensure that. We have systems or platforms that are, you know, loading well. So maybe the other thing that we can talk about is clear quality actions. So we need to have these ones. When you talk about clear quality actions, we're talking about, you know, compelling quality actions. For example, you want users to sign up to your platform. So you need to, you know, be able to show that with this clear quality actions. They need to be placed where, you know, these customers or people who engage with your platform online are able to see them. Yeah. So this is important. And, you know, it also points to what do you really want the customer to do when they get your platform? Do you want them to maybe shop? So you need to have that properly. Do you want them to be able to subscribe to, you know, your content? Do you want them to be able to contact you? So basically you're just providing guidance or maybe some, you know, mappings to what the customer is supposed to do. Yeah. So that's some of the features that, you know, I think we already touched on things to do with the branding. So that is proper. So as I said, you're trying to impress your customer. You know, very normally you dress to your best when you're going to an important event because you want to leave such an impression. It's the same way, you know. You're trying to make sure you have your AGM, you have your right branding, your colors are in properly and there's consistency. Yeah. So that's when someone sees your brand online or your page, they're actually able to recognize that and they're able to be able to enjoy what you have to offer them. All right. So these are some of the products or features that I think are really important that can help you to have a proper website that is able to be engaging and, you know, customers are able to have a good time there and they're able to come back for that. So we can look at an example maybe of this so that you can see it in a manner of you can be able to see what we mean when we say that you need to have a certain sort of application or maybe website. So let's just have a look at one of the websites that I think can shed some light on what we are trying to say. Okay. So what you're looking at is a website that is called Dribbble. So in this website, it's basically where you can find some of the top designers' work. But basically just, you know, hovering or just having a look at the website. It seems simple, elegant, and, you know, everything seems to be in its place. So you actually enjoy, you know, and then you can see these menus that just popped up there, search menu. So, you know, as you're scrolling down, it's about to respond to or maybe become more intuitive so that it can help you to browse through. So the first thing you see is, you know, these are logos. That's for branding. And you can also see if you look at this menu, you can see that the font size and the font type is very consistent. So it's the same thing here. So you look at, you know, it has a white background that is kind of giving it that, you know, that elegant and comfortable look. So you can just, you know, go through it and see. So if you need to maybe search things, you know, they have proper navigation, proper search buttons. Yeah. We can also look at, you know, we can also look at something like their responsiveness. Let's see how responsive this website is. Okay. So you can use a Google Chrome developer tool. So for example, let's choose, say you're using an iPhone to look at this. So how does it look from an iPhone perspective? Look at this. So the content has been able to sort of, you know, sort of fitting properly to the screen size, which is a mobile phone over here. Yeah. And this is what we're talking about. So basically your website is able to accommodate all screen sizes. Yeah. So you can, there's so many screen sizes that you can look at here. So, you know, just have a look at that. Yeah. Look at that. That's a screen size of maybe a tablet or maybe, you know, that size. So you can see now the content has, you know, has adapted to that new screen size. Yeah. And you can see the look and feel is the same. You experience the same thing. Yeah. So that's what we're talking about when you talk about responsiveness. The other thing that you can look at is, as I was saying, how fast is this website? Maybe you can try to look at that. So you can use a website like Speed Insight. So what you do is you need to copy this particular URL and probably see, you know, the speed of this website here. So these are some of the features Remember that we said that if you experience when we loaded this site, it was really fast. You know, I just, you know, keyed in the domain name and the website was very nice. So as you can see here, yeah, you can see here, you see, look at this, call web vital assessment So this means that, you know, this website is, you know, has been optimized for mobile. And you can see these are the results for mobile. And you can see it's only taking about 2.3 seconds to load even the largest sections of the same. So it's a website that obviously needs some, you know, this one can also help them to maybe improve on it. But basically if you look at the results there, you can see the SEO is proper. The accessibility is proper. And that's how you can be able to assess even how your website that you have right now is. And maybe whether you need a professional to look at it and improve on it. So in terms of you can also look at desktop. You can see that is how the website looks. And yeah, so you can be able to view some of these metrics, the performance, accessibility, best practicing and so on and so forth. So there are tools that we can be able to look at and know where maybe our platforms are not converting. Maybe it's SEO, maybe it's your, you know, some issues to do with your accessibility. So we can look at that, be able to use the data and so that we can be able to improve on what we need to improve on, right? So these are some of the things that you need to look at when you're looking at a website. So that is really important. And I can see the trumps are coming up there. Anyway, let's just have this proper. So yeah, so that's basically what we have is a proper website that you can look at. And now maybe, you know, you need to, if you have a website, maybe you need to know what to look for, you know, what to go and look for when you want to make sure that your website is proper so that you can be able to, you know, get the best results out of these systems. So now, you know, as I said, this is our first, our debut episode and we're going to have a lot more. So we are going to be exploring insights, learn some tools that we can be able to use in this journey of digital transformation. In addition, we will also look at some of the digital products that we've developed, you know, that are serving in some certain areas or that you might find useful in your endeavors. So for today, what we have is, you know, if you've been into transcription, so you would agree with me that there are issues when you are trying to manage your workload. For example, you know, you have a number of editors or reviewers, maybe proofers, and, you know, normally maybe you communicate through your WhatsApp. So sometimes it's really difficult for you to manage all those orders and be able to, you know, for example, if you are trying to refer to a certain task, it becomes a bit of a challenge or even maybe to reconcile when there are issues, maybe an editor is, you know, saying they did so and so job or maybe they're requesting for payment and you're just trying to validate that. So, yeah, being a transcriber or someone who has done that, I try to, you know, come up with a product or we try to come up with a product that can try to streamline that. So this is our work management app that we can apply to so many other areas. So let's look at it and maybe we can talk about it and maybe if it applies to you and you feel that you can use it somewhere, then maybe we can basically talk about how we can be able to bring you on board. Right. So this is, as I said, it's a transcription app and what we have here is, you know, once you sign in, you're going to be brought to the admin dashboard. So this is, for example, you have clients or maybe you have someone that you get your orders from or maybe your tasks from and you want a system that you're able to feed those jobs into the system. You're able to add new, for example, you have new staff, for example, reviewers or editors or whichever field that you're in, you want to add them in so that you can be able to assign them jobs. You also want maybe a system that can manage your clients. So you're able to sort of have records of your clients in a proper way. So you can use this system. So what we have here, basically the dashboard provides an overview of some of the important metrics. Some of them include, you know, how jobs are distributed across the various stages. So we have, maybe you have a job that are assigned to editors. Some of them are assigned to reviewers, assigned to profiles, and so on and so forth. Just below that, you have your financial overview. Yeah. So this is important because, you know, you need to understand your finances, how are you performing, how are your jobs and basically. So for example, this one, the paid section, this one means that the clients have paid and maybe, you know, so this job is already paid. So even if someone is working on it, you already have received payments for this and they request payment, you know, they can be paid. This one means the payment is pending. So basically you're working on them, but the client has not yet paid. And then this total kind of indicates, you know, the total of the paid jobs as well as the pending. So it shows sort of what you'd expect from all the two, that is paid jobs as well as the pending jobs. All right. So and then here we have job statistics. So basically this is kind of showing you, you know, where are the jobs distributed. So we have pending, editor, reviewer. So as we've seen here, we have two assigned to reviewer and it's also a visual capturing the same. And here we have sort of daily earnings. So for example, you have your, you know, if you had maybe data points for more than, you know, one day, then you'd have maybe another data point here and then you have, you know, sort of a current graph showing you how you're progressing. So for now we sort of have just the one data point showing around 1800, which is basically this total here. So it kind of shows the amount maybe for the day or maybe for, this is supposed to be, this is a dummy data that was entered a few days ago. So it's showing data for that particular, for that particular day, because it's a daily earning. So for today, we do not, at the time of this recording, there's no data because that's just dummy data. All right. So we can also look at staff performance. So this one is basically showing, you know, how, you know, on a daily or maybe depending on the time period that is chosen, you know, how are your staff performing, how many, or who has completed more tasks and so on and so forth. Yeah. So you can be able to use this to guide you on your appraisal methods and so on and so forth. Then this one here, you have your recent jobs here. So as you can see here, these are very good properties or maybe a complete record of your job. So these are the properties that we have. So you can be able to even see the status of the job. Like I was saying, the system is able to track where your job is exactly at. So these two, as I can see, they are sent to a review. So maybe, you know, you can be able to do follow up quite easily. Then you have some action buttons over here. So you have, you can edit, you'll be able to view more details. So you can have a look at that. This one is a menu item for staff list. So once you add your staff members, then you can have a list of them here. And again, you can, you have their role, data rank, status and so on. So you can be able to edit this view or maybe delete if you don't need it. The other thing that you can be able to see is the list of all your jobs. So you're able to see all your jobs and their status. So remember, this is important. So for example, you're trying to see all jobs that are assigned to your editor. So you can just, you know, filter that and say, I just want to see assigned or maybe just write editor. Assigned to editor and you're just going to just get the records of, you know, those jobs that are assigned to editors. And then you can, you know, have a look at their due, overdue and so on and so forth. And that can help you to make your decision. In terms of staff reports, obviously, you know, once, according to your agreement with your, according to your agreement with your staff, you're able to generate reports periodically. For example, this one, you're able to, for example, if you want to see maybe the reports of data one for this month. So you can have from date one to today. Then you can just filter. So maybe they sent you a report and you just want to validate that whatever they sent you is correct. So as you can see here, you're able to see the number of tasks they've done, the number of minutes and the amount of total that is due. And they can easily, or you can easily generate an Excel report here so that you can add maybe more comments on that. Okay. So I believe this is something that you can actually use. So the other thing that you'd see, I said this is an admin account. So basically you are the admin. So there are other functionalities that you're able to have. So let's look at that. So you need to, for example, you will be sent some new tasks over your email and you need to probably record that into the system so that you can be able to assign them and follow up the status until completion and so on and so forth. Yeah. So this is where you come in and do that. So for example, if you had a new job, you just come in your record. So click on add. And then, you know, let's say this is sample three. So this is the reader. And for the job number, that's automatically generated by the system. So you can just leave it out. And then let's say that this is the job that belongs to a job with a client. And then in your description, this is where you capture everything you need for your editor to know what they're supposed to do with this job. So just for now, I can just try it, keep time, which is done. And then for the associated name, you can record something like a witness name or maybe something that is unique and stands out about that particular job. All right. So for the category, there are so many categories. Just for this case demo, I can just write trial. And then the date indicates when is it due. Maybe it's due three days from now. And then you have the time. When will it be due? 6 a.m. And then record the amount of minutes. So maybe it's a three-hour job. So 180 minutes. And maybe you're paying maybe 25 shillings per minute. So you can have that. In terms of status and conditions, so this is automatically updated by the system. So the system will look at where is the job at or who has the job right now, who is working on it. If it's with the editor, then it's the status we will read here assigned to the editor. But you don't need to do this manually. It's going to be automatically updated. The only place maybe you need to update is on the payment status. So maybe the client has paid and you received the payment. You can just note that it's paid. And this helps because this will be reflected even on the side of the staff like the editor. So that maybe they need to make some advance request. Then they can only do so for what you've been paid. So now this section is where you assign the task. So once you claim your job, maybe you already talked with your editor over the top of your communication message or channel. And then you decided to assign it to maybe editor 1. So you just come there and assign that. For the editor submission, this is the editor to submit so you don't need to update anything here. So you can leave it over to you. Same thing with the reviewer. If you already have a reviewer that you want to assign this particular task, you just come in, assign it to reviewer 1 and so on and so forth. So as you can see, you don't have to assign it to anyone. So you can just leave some of them. That's according to you. Maybe you can come and update the record later. And then maybe for the assignment, you can come and choose maybe the audio, the instruction files, and so on and so forth. So for example, for this case, let's probably use just some dummy content. So you can use this one. So this is the audio. So this is audio. So you can maybe ask them to confirm whether it's body voice. And if you have more files, you can just add them here. So for example, you have the instructions on how to do this particular one. So you can just say this is instructions and so on and so forth. And then you can hit on save once you're done. So once you're done, you can save. So once you've saved, you should be able to have that record now reflected. So you can look at that. So my internet is a bit slow, but basically once you add that job, then you're able to share it or maybe it's in the system. If maybe we can look at the jobs. I'm sure that's going to load as well. Yeah, but all right. So yeah, as you can see, let's see whether, this is not the list of jobs. Let's see whether our job, let's see. These are four jobs. And our job was some point three. So it seems like the internet kind of didn't complete the addition. But basically you understand the process. So obviously proper internet, it's the same way that I added this dummy one. So it's the same process. You can just have a look at it later. So the good thing is if you have so many records and you want maybe to edit them or filter, you can, there's so many filter options that you can use over here. You can use, maybe you just want to see the only ones that are assigned to editor. So you can filter by status. And that is going to filter for you, as you can see here. It's filtered this job. And now maybe you can make a call to your editor and maybe do a follow up and so on and so forth. Yeah. So this is a really good system as I've shown you. It's able to capture you adding and maybe making modifications to whatever you need to add. The same thing to you if you are adding reviewers and all that. So you just come to maybe users and you click there. You see the ones that you already have, the dummy ones. If you want to add new ones, you have a new person that you want to add to your group. You just come and add them here and you save. Yeah. So this is a really good system that you can be able to use as well. Now let's try and see what the editors have seen on their end. So let's log out and see what the editor. So that was the admin site. So now you have your editor. The editor will come and probably log in. Editor. Yeah. So they'll come and log in. And they're also going to have their own dashboard. So as you can see here. Yeah. So this is the editor called that person. So you can see they have a dashboard here and they're able to see the jobs that are relevant to them. So for this one, I already had some jobs which the editor completed and they were able to, once the job was completed, it automatically switches status to a reviewer's job because after the editor, well, this is basically from my experience how it works. So once the editor is done, then the task is pushed to the reviewer so they can review that. And now if a reviewer logs in on their end, they're going to have this job. They're going to see. And it has to be a reviewer who was assigned this particular job. So similarly, they also have their earnings. They can look at their earnings and they can filter which, what period do they want to see the earnings. So it could be 30 days, 90 days, or maybe all their time and they're able to see their earnings. Maybe my paid jobs. This means, like I said, the client has paid. And so, you know, they can request payment if the argument is okay. And this one means it's pending. So that means maybe they have already completed them, but the client maybe hasn't paid. So, and this is a total of what they would expect once everything is in order. And they also have, you know, again, some of their recent jobs, as you can see here. So these are the relevant jobs that the editor had. And as you can see, once they completed them, the status changed to assigned to reviewer, assigned to reviewer, and so on and so forth. So the next thing that, you know, the editor can see is they have a menu for jobs as well. And so this is basically where, for example, they are able to, so what happens is once the editor has completed the job, they just come and click on edit here. Yeah. So they just come and click on edit there. And as you can see, upload submission, they're going to choose a file once they have completed and maybe choose instructions. And they're going to submit that. Okay. So once they submit that, see, the job has been completed or updated. Remember this one, even the editor, already the editor had already completed because, you know, it was with the reviewer. But let's say that maybe the reviewer asked them to sort of update something so they can, you know, come and edit the same record. And everybody who has access to that particular task will also see the new updates. Yeah. So, for example, if you want to go to view details of that job, maybe we can try and see. Yeah. You can see here. You can see that this is what the editor has submitted. They're able to see this and you can actually download it. So if you are a reviewer, this is when you click view, you'll be able to see the same. All right. Okay. So let's look at their reports. So, for example, it's payment time and you just want to request some payment. So maybe you just need to review the report that you need. You want it from which date to which date. So you come and enter those details. And it's going to, on the system, it will create for you all that information. And you can actually generate an Excel, as you can see here. And then maybe you can do some updates on the same. Again, you know, every sort of task for a job or maybe requires you to keep learning or maybe there are some new states of jobs or maybe you are just bringing in someone new, they need to learn. So this is a menu bar that we can use to add more materials, depending on how you want to customize it or maybe the material that you want. These people are on the business task view. So you can have a look at that. All right. And lastly, we have this option here called WhatsApp. So basically, you're able to see what's happening in your WhatsApp. And you're able to – someone is able to just link to their WhatsApp group for communication while they're still in the system. So let's say that maybe there are jobs that you're discussing over on WhatsApp or issues you can discuss there. Then once you agree, your admin or maybe this person who assigns you jobs can be able to assign you that particular job. And you're going to be able to see it on this other end. All right. So I believe that is a really good system that we can look at. Maybe some of them you feel like it has not captured and maybe you can try and update it. And if you feel that maybe it can help you, you can contact us and we'll be able to organize something so that we can onboard you and make sure that your life is much more easier. You're able to use it whether you're traveling, whether you're – just over your phone, you can be able to do everything that you probably had a difficult time to do with any other system. So I'm really excited about what we've had today. And I'm sure that we'll keep engaging. And so even going forward, we'll have other exciting episodes. So at this juncture, I would want to kindly request you to feel free to share this content, feel free to like it, comment. And let's grow as a group, let's grow as a channel. And as I said, we are going to invite some of the experts in this area so that you can have or experience a more smooth journey of digital transformation.
