The word is potential, potential, potential. Think about this guy from the time he was in high school. One of the top prospects going to college, coming out of college. Mentioned as a generational type quarterback. He looks the part. Tall, big arm, surveys the field, and can take off and run when under duress. That's caught by his tight end, Evan Ingram. And he gets this one just shy of the 40, down at the 39. A good start offensively, 15 yards on the game's initial play. And what a nice example there of a tight end doing exactly what he needs to do. How about how he worked his way to the outside, made sure he secured the catch, and then anything after that, we count that as a bonus. And indeed, he gets enough for the first down. They just do get the playoff as he'll look to throw. He'll get this into the hands of the right arm from LSU. And he'll be taken down, but not before he works it past the 50. The Jags picking up the first down there, a gain of 12. He'll just go ahead and lift all the things Scout saw when he was coming out of that last year. Tracks the ball easily, great vertical speed, plays above the rim, excellent catch radius, and has good contact strength. That led to 17 touchdowns scored last year, which led Kyle to the fall. Down to about the 45. I feel like I can see what he was thinking on that carry. He wanted to follow that big tackle through the hole. Ended up only getting four yards on the carry. I think he had designs on that one being bigger. Now a second and six. Lawrence running right on the option. And some good tackling there as he stopped up at about the 41. He'll wind up getting three on the keeper there, but it leads to a third down. Anytime you decide to use your quarterback as a runner, most of the time when you design a play, you're expected to break a little bit bigger than this one because when you run him on short gains, your risk-reward and him taking hits, I'm not sure that's the payoff they were looking for. Here's Lawrence to throw. A short throw to Ingram. And he'll be taken down, but he does have first down yardage. A third down gain of three yards, and that'll be enough. Well, they kept it simple there, CD. Only needing the short gain to move the chain, so they didn't want to go with a deep throw. They just go with that safer, shorter throw and able to convert. Nothing wrong with that at all, partner. Check the box, right? Make sure you pick up the first down. Offense is getting established. You're moving the ball. You're not turning it over. Check, check, check. They like what they're doing early in the game. Brought down that time by Quay Walker. As usual, the hallmark of a good run defense, linebackers making plays near the line of scrimmage. Absolutely nowhere to run there. Now it's second and ten. And Bigsby wants more. And he gets them a little over half of what they needed. Now they're looking at a third and five. A quick burst there, and he nicely bit off a pretty decent gain. Eighth play of this opening drive coming up. This is third down. From the gun, it's Lawrence. And he is caught. And this is going to result in another first down. It's a tackle made at the Packers 23. Give them ten yards there. This offense is on a roll. This drive continues to plunge forward. They clearly want to get the ball. This offense is on a roll. He's now four of four on this opening drive. He has led to a fresh set of downs. I like what he's doing back there. You can tell he's at ease, feels good about what he's doing. I think if I'm the play caller, I'm reading that. I'm continuing to let him throw the football. And he maneuvers up the middle for three, and it's second down. That's just a pile of bodies there, and that's when you've got to find out who's a tough guy, right? Who can stand up and make a play? It was only a three-yard run, but for both sides, they had to walk away from that feeling like, okay, I can stand up when the going gets tough in here. In motion, the tight ends. Oh, and they sent the man in motion too late. This is going to be a delay. The offense knew it. They were already starting to walk back as that one is accepted. Looking to throw Lawrence. And that is caught. Touchdown Jacksonville. Christian Kirk, 26 yards. And the Jaguars get the upper hand as they're on the board first here this afternoon. Right off the bat, they start with a very solid, methodical 10-play drive. And you know me. I tend to look at things from the defensive side. They'll come off the field gassed right away. We're in the first drive of the game. So it's not just what happened. And now, of course, all scoring plays are reviewed, and I think they're going to take an extra long look at this one. They're taking a peek at whether or not those feet were in bounds, and obviously a big call here in the end zone. And not just the feet. How about the hands? How is the ball possessed while the feet are hopefully getting down in bounds? That's what they're trying to look at to see if it all comes together. Unbelievable. So they called it a touchdown originally, and this will stay a touchdown after the video review, so they had it right. Now the extra point. And this is up and good. The score now 7-0, Jaguars. A 10-play drive that time. And it culminates in a Jags touchdown. After the touchdown, Cook now to kick this one away. And a good effort on the return there. Gets them across the 30, up to the 33. So here comes the Packers offense now onto the field. They'll be let out by a first-round pick in the 2020 draft. Out of Utah State, this is Jordan Love. I tell you what, when he is on schedule for that week, secondaries take notice because you've got to stay alert back there in every snap. A truly powerful arm, one that's capable of challenging any level of the defense on any given play. That's why so many scouts preach arm talent when preparing for the NFL draft. A quarterback with arm strength to make every throw in the book, he's an athlete to have in any offense. On the ground as Jenkins is starting to drive, and he'll take this ahead for about four. Second down, coming up. Brandon, to me, what's important right here on this drive is for them to get at least two first downs. They've got to give their defense a chance to settle down, catch their breath a little bit, after they give up a touchdown on the opening drive. From the 37, they work on second and sixth. Love now. He has it complete to Christian. He has it complete to Christian Watson. That one a first down pick up of eight. We'll see what kind of mindset they have here offensively after giving up a touchdown on the opening drive. And based on our time with them prior to this game, I feel like they've got a good mindset going in. In fact, the discussion that we had with the coaching staff was, we may give up some points in this game, so offense has to be ready each and every time to either equal or try and get us ahead and try and keep us ahead. Their chance to respond to that first touchdown given up. They'll get it up near midfield at a 49 before being taken down. The defense thought they had that play covered, but it still got driven backward by those blockers. Those types of plays are a key part of any team's offensive game plan. It all starts up front in the trenches. Second down and six now. Throwing. Love. That's caught. It's Romeo Dobbs. And he's corralled, but not before getting it inside the 35. It's a gain of 16 and a first down for the green and gold. I think when they look at their offense, they think to themselves, weapons, weapons everywhere, and they want to move the ball around. They want to spread it to different people, but you absolutely know they want to get this man involved as well, and that's what they just did on that play. So in Jacksonville territory now. Here's a first and ten at the 34. Running straight ahead is Jacobs, and he'll manage to pick up for about four. It's second down. That was a quality play to start a new set of downs. That was simply an offensive line winning the battle up front and winning it a big way and giving their guy in the backfield a nice lane to hit. Ball on the 30 now. Here's second and six. Now love. He gets it to Sims. Complete. And he's going to have another first down at the tackles made at the Jaguars' 17-yard line. After one, 7-0 on EA Sports. The Packers with the football here to begin the second half. Second quarter. So from the 17 now, here's a first and ten. And they've got it as we resume action. Catch made by Watson on the out route. And he is out of bounds, getting it down to the ten. Calling a gain of six on the play, and that will bring up second down. Back to the running game with Jacobs. And he is going to lose yardage here. It'll be a loss of a couple on the play, so now third down coming up. This sort of field strength even more with the type of body they brought in on that play. They dissipated. They weren't able to secure their block, and that one ended up going backwards. And they'll be in search of six yards here on third down. This is now the ninth play of the drive. These guys know each other so well, they don't even have to call the play. They can just look at each other and know the route that's going to be run, and usually the connection is perfect. This is going to be roughing the kicker. When you're going back there on the kick block, you've got to go to the right point. That didn't happen. Ran into the kicker. Flag had to come out. Receivers, I don't want to be cliche, but running really solid routes too. And what I love about it is when you look across any team, all right, the body types of the receivers are usually different. The way that they get open, different as well. Some of them use power to get open. Some of them use those head fakes and subtle moves. Some of them just use pure speed. And the really good ones, when they're established, they know how to push off at the end of a route too. You've got a young quarterback. Maybe that's just an example of a growing pain for him. I think you're right about that because when the game starts to move fast and it moves quickly on him, a lot of times they fall back on what they know best, their arm. He's flinging it on this one. Had a wide open target but didn't have the proper footwork to increase his accuracy. Now a hand off to Bigsby. And tough going there as he'll only get it up to about the 31. They do get a yard there, but only a yard. Leaves him with third and nine looming. Well, that's a good start to this drive on the defensive side of the ball. Forced the incompletion on first down, and you're able to shut down the running play on second. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised now. A little bit of pressure going at the quarterback in the expected passing situation. And that is knocked away in the middle of the field and incomplete. Clay Walker was the one to bat that throw away. Partner, we've got ourselves a ball game, and those guys on defense, they came to play. Slipped up on their first series, but they're definitely settling in now and letting it be known the point won't come so easy again. On fourth down, on is Logan Cook to punt. And he'll get this away into the humid Florida sky. It's a four-yard return following a punt of 49. And out will come the offense as they take over. The Packers offense here coming back out for their second drive. This drive here beginning probably with a pair of motivated grooves. Remember, the offense scored a touchdown on their last time out. Looking to repeat that in Charles' defense. They were very frustrated after giving up six the last time on the field. And frankly, it's just a battle of wills in a lot of ways because you know they're both motivated. They both game plan for this drive, and they both have specific outcomes in mind. To me, it just comes down to who can execute better and which guy can step up and assert his will over the other. And he's taken down but able to slip across the 35. That play going for 16 yards to start the drive, first down. Well, this is where reading defenses and practice time comes into play. You've got to know what you're running versus zone versus man and how to run the proper route. And they just executed that one pretty well. From all the way up at the 38 now after a good start to the drive. It's three out wide. This is Watson. It'll go as a gain of four, and it'll be second down. Jacob's going to try the middle. Try to find a lane, but instead he'll get back to the line of scrimmage. And no more. No gain on the play there, so they're left with a third down and six. The running lane has definitely not been there for him here in the first half, and I don't think it's all been his fault. His offensive line hasn't given him much space. A loss results there. Love from the gun on Jacob. Love from the gun on third down. Works in the middle of the field, and he's got a man complete. And he's going to have another first down as the tackle's made at the Jaguars 43. His first catch, and it's a pretty big one. They get the conversion on third down. And that's well executed there on third down, and I love the confidence that they had to let their tight end try and find some space in the middle of the field right in their quarterback's line of vision. And QBs love to make that easy throw, and they hooked up there for a first down. Quick throw there is incomplete. And not a common sight, at least on this drive. A momentary setback, though, for this passing game that has been moving well this series. Good thing for them, though. Still two more downs to connect and try to pick up another first down. Here's second and ten. Here's a head off to Jacob, and he's dropped right at the 40. Game of three. Well, they didn't get a whole lot out of that one, but I think you've got to continue to try and run it, try and keep the defense on it. You mean, or else they'll just sit back, dare you to throw it on every down? Yeah, you get your quarterback hit a lot that way, too. Here's play number seven on the drive. This is third and seven. Love. And the Jags get to him, and down he goes. Multiple players combined for their team's first sack of the game. Well, how about that? A dime set on defense. Six defensive backs. None of them blitzed. They're just back there in coverage. Defensive lineman gets the sack. That's where the O-line, they go to the sideline, they keep their helmets on so the cameras can't find them, right? Yeah, the cameras can't find them, but I know one thing. The O-line coach will. On fourth down, the Packers call on Daniel Whelan to punt. Had a bit of a mistake there. This is well into the end zone for a touchback. And now out come the Jags. As we eat closer and closer to intermission, Charles, remember last time out they punted. They would love to get points here, especially if this is going to be their final possession of the first half. Yeah, and this is what close games feel like because the pressure is on both sides, but sometimes the pressure's a little bit higher on the team with the slight edge because they're trying to hold on to that, trying to increase it. Let's see how this one continues. Lawrence bringing the Jaguars up first and ten at the 20. Bigsby with a carry to begin the series. And he still has yet to get on track in this first half as they're going to stop him behind the line. Big Kenny Clark that time pushing upfield to make the tackle for Lawrence. I think we've got to give it up for him right there. That's a heck of an athletic move for a big man right in the middle of the line. How about the play he makes there? Nowhere to run, and he finishes that one off for a loss. Another run by Bigsby. And he'll get to the 29-yard line brought down there. They get 11 back on that one. It leads to third down. So from second and long, now we go to third and very manageable. Yeah, they love that phrase, don't they? Because as an offensive coordinator, you can keep people a little bit off balance in guessing because you don't have to throw it. You can come back with a strong run game if you want to. And if you're in four-down territory, that really opens things up for you. And they get him down, but not before he takes it across the 40-yard line. That one, a pickup of 15 for Jacksonville. I think I saw a lot of shoulders just drop there. And what I mean by that is they're kind of looking to relax a little bit because that was an important play call. They needed to pick up that first down at this stage of the game. Yeah, couldn't afford another quick drive and out. We've hit the two-minute mark of the first half. All knotted up at seven. And now they'll throw it with Lawrence. Catch here, left side, Thomas. And he's brought down. Back-to-back nice plays, 12 yards that time and a first down. Now that was pretty. They executed that curl route versus zone coverage, and that changes things a little bit because against Mann, it's often a tight curl, a tight, sharply run route. Again, zone, you're just looking for that open spot, that dead area. You may curl a little bit wider just to get to that court. To the right side and intercepted. Picked off by Eric Stokes. And the Packers are in great shape here as they take over at the 46-yard line. Certainly not his best throw that time and not a good time to make it, Charles, when they were a nickel with five defensive backs on the field. And that's exactly why you have those five DBs out there. You want extra speed on the field, guys who have ball skills and understand what the passing game can do and give them a chance to react and make a play on the football, and they take one of those away. Another drive coming up for this Packers offense. They start near midfield following the interception as they begin first and ten. So good starting field position for them here as they come up first and ten at their own 46. Following the interception. Love over the middle here is hauled in by Watson. And they'll get him down as he's inside the 40. 16 yards right off the bat and a first down. Right after the turnover, they come out throwing. And that means it's a sudden change situation. We used to practice it on defense. Sudden change, get out there, stop the offense. But you typically run out there a little bit unsettled. I think that's why he came right out throwing the football, hoping to catch him off balance. And he did. Today's NFL, these big guys are future receivers. They move all over the place to try and find good matchups. And they had one. They were just unable to complete the pass. They work again from the 38 on second and ten. To throw down, here's Love. This is caught, it's Christian Watson. The Packers going to use one of their timeouts as the stoppage will come with a little under a minute to go in this first half. Here's Jenkins on first and ten. And the running lane's nonexistent in this first half as they'll stop him behind the line. The former first-round pick, Eric Armstead, the one who got in there to make that play. When a draw works, it can be a thing of beauty. But when it doesn't, oh, it can be ugly. And in this case, Watson yardage ugly. Now they contend with a second and 12 after the loss. They want to end every drive with a kick, whether it's a field goal attempt, a point after the touchdown, or at worst, a punt. This time they had that opportunity but didn't get it because you know the field shrinks that close to the end zone, and that allows the defense to tighten up their coverage, and they picked that one off. Nineteen seconds showing to play in the half as they come up here first and ten. And they're just going to run it here up the middle. We didn't play anything close to our best in the first half, so we don't have to go out and win one for the Giffers. Let's just go out and play our best football and win one for us. Loving the Packers now with a first and ten right at the 30. Out of the shotgun, it's Love. He finds his man, complete. Well, they went play action there and set it up nicely for him. I mean, he can flat fly, and they hit him downfield. And it doesn't take much to create that extra bit of space that a guy at his speed needs. If you go play action, all you want is just a moment for the guys covering to take their attention somewhere else, and then he's by him. And once he's by him, there's no catching him. As they always like to say, if a receiver's even to a defensive back, that means he's leaving. Unless that DB is Charles Davis, right? In that case, he left me alone. Charles Davis, right? In that case, he left me a long time ago. A long time ago. Trust me. Pretty clean and simple there. Just two plays to the long pass resulting in the touchdown on play number two. Here comes the Jags offense now. Time for their first possession of half number two. Charles, you and I said in intermission, feels like we're set up for a good second half. Well, the other side scored, and now it's up to them to answer. How do they respond here with their first drive of the second half? Well, bottom line is, they just saw the ball go in the end zone against their defense, and they saw what good offense looks like. They believe they've got a good offense as well. Run the best plays you've got to the top performers you have, and try to move that ball down the field for an answering score. It's a loss of four there. I see a shake of the head as he gets up, and you've got to imagine he's thinking, guys, you've got to help me out. He's hoping his team can read his thoughts, because he definitely needs some assistance. Well, the first play of the drive lost four. Now they'll look to move it forward here on second and 14. Able to fight through one tackle, and able to use his blockers to get this up over the 40. So a decent game there on the play, but that all gets wiped out with a penalty. Well, that's a setback, but all the good play callers, they just move on. They find something else in the playbook. They're going to attack this defense, and they go right back on the offensive on this play. Yeah, they'll stop him after a gain of a couple to the 33. Not the start to the drive they were looking for. They're going to try to get it back. They're going to try to get it back. They're going to try to get it back. Not the start to the drive they were looking for. That run doesn't do much at all. No, not at all. That leaves them with third and long, and you know, this is the kind of game where these drives really, really start to matter. They've got to make some moves. Now Lawrence to throw. That is incomplete. How about some applause for the defense there? They forced him to throw that one into coverage, and just like that, they're staring at a fourth down. Well done. Here's Logan Cook now, as he'll kick it away for the second time. So possession goes over here on the punt, and they will take over first and ten. The Packers offense and quarterback Jordan Love is heading back out onto the field, and as we show you some of the highlights from earlier, he has been instrumental in getting his guys the lead as he looks to finish strong and close this one out. Packer offense ready to get their next drive underway, and they'll just simply be looking to build off the confidence of the last time out where they scored a touchdown. That confidence is powerful, isn't it? When you've scored once, you feel like you can go back out there and get it done again. Doesn't matter what the defense throws at them. They feel like they're in a groove right now, and they want to get out there and show it. Yeah, hoping to stay in that groove here this go-around. Now second and seven from the 23. Love from the gun. He finds one to the cross, and he'll be taken down, but not before they work it across midfield. Going to get to him in space. Pace off big time. That winds up going for 31. When teams practice their plays during the week, they're hoping that it's going to pay off on game day, so it sure has to feel good for them when they hit them during the game, and they hit that one there for big yardage. So in Jacksonville territory now. Here's a first and ten at the 46. Here's Love. A complete once again to Watson, and he's got this down to the 35. Consecutive catches for him. That good for 11, and that last reception puts him over 150 yards now in the game, Charles. And now it's not just execution. It's not just performance. It's a mental aspect that's going on, because right now, he's got the defense so much on their heels. Got them looking at each other. Who's going to cover this guy, and what type of coverage can we put out there to try and throw him down? It looks like they saw some fight in them on this series, because it seemed like things were headed for the red zone, but this defense gets two more stops. They can keep them out of that area. An incomplete pass on first down. That leads to a second and ten. Again, it's Love. Looking right sideline, but it's incomplete. Well, it looked like they marched to the end zone and did a momentary roadblock with that incompletion. No need to panic. They just got to come up with a high-percentage play call and see if they can get their offense back on track. This offense was on the move. Now, two straight incompletions. Have them looking at third and ten. Back to throw again. That almost, but not quite, needed ten. He got nine, fourth down. That looked great when he first took off, because in my mind, there was room to run, and he had the marker in his sight. But I certainly didn't expect him to close so quickly, and neither did he. They got to him just in time, and now that forced him to make a decision with his fourth down call. It would be a very makeable field goal drive from here, but instead, they're going to go for it. They go with Jacobs. Oh, he sheds himself free. And they'll work it inside the 15-yard line before it's all said and done. A big pickup at 12 yards on fourth down to keep this drive from stalling. Looks to me like maybe there's a little attrition setting in with this drive, because when you see that type of a run, I get the feeling the defense is getting a little bit tired. And that's the last thing they need, especially when they look up at the scoreboard. On first down, they go with Jacobs again. And he'll fight his way down right around the 12. Joshua Hines-Allen there on the stop. In the first half, he was held in check on the ground, but despite that lack of production, they still have the lead. Man, they've got to feel fortunate about that. If they could actually get production from the lead horse, that would help open up this offense and widen his margin, too. Switching things up, they'll throw it now with Jordan Love. Got a man, and he hits him in stride. And the Packers are looking at first and goal as he's tackled all the way down at the two-yard line. It's all pretty simple sometimes, isn't it? Go where the defenders are not, and he does exactly that. Makes a nice catch to move the chain. Defense, got to find a better way of accounting for the shorter routes that are being run against them. On-play action. Love the throw. Steps away, and he's going to take it in. Touchdown, Packers! Jordan Love taking it in from two yards out, and the Packers have taken a two-touchdown lead now. That seemed pretty ideal there for the offense, Charles. You take a little bit of time off the clock here in the third quarter, decent length drive, and you pad your lead as well at the end of it. And what it does is let you feel like you're in control of this game even more so than a two-touchdown lead, right? Because you have taken that time off, as you noticed, which means they couldn't get you off the field. You ran your playbook the way you wanted to, and you gave your defense some rest. What a big-time drive in that situation. Uh-oh, flag comes out here. This is going to be roughing the kicker. When you're going back there on the kick block, you've got to go to the right point. That didn't happen, ran into the kicker. The penalty flag had to come out. After the roughing penalty on the PAT, they'll kick off from 15 yards further upfield. And this will not be returnable. It's out of the back of the end zone for a touchback. Out comes the Jacksonville offense as they get set to take over here. Charles, a very uninspired effort the last time we saw them out there. It was a quick three and out, and then they punted the football. Yeah, and you never want to get stopped so soundly during a series. But what would be even worse now is letting it happen again right here. They've got to get going. Lawrence bringing the Jaguars up first and 10, right at the 30. On the ground with Bigsby, he starts to drive. And that one blown up quickly as he's going to be stopped before he can even get started. It's a loss of four on the first down play. You've got to figure the further they fall behind, the more you think that they'll get away from the run. They're trying to stick with it, but the results, they just aren't there. Now Lawrence, a short throw to Ingram. Only able to gain a couple there. And that's going to lead to a third and 12. And let's face it, you can put any Halloween costume on him, you're not going to be able to disguise him because for a tight end of his size, it's difficult to sneak him anywhere. But that's what they tried to do. Lined up on his right, tried to work his way back to his left, but just a minimal gain as the defense was able to react quickly. Lawrence will throw. And knocks the ball away, and it falls incomplete. Looks like another empty possession offensively. And you're at that point in the game where you can't afford too many more of these. So this is going to require some heavy thinking on the sidelines to figure out what they can do to crack this defense. Here's Logan Cook now, as he's on the punt for Jacksonville. Averaging over 50 yards of punts so far as this one's away. And we'll see what he can do on the return. It's a 45-yard punt, 6 yards on the return. And it will be 1st and 10 as they take over. Green Bay's offense ready to go again. And as we look back at how we got here, you'll notice a common theme in these highlights. A lot of yardage through the air. The passing game has been sharp right from the outset. Watch that. About set to get this drive started. The Green Bay offense at the line. This is sort of what you would call a put-away drive. As they score here, especially a touchdown, it's almost out of reach. It certainly feels that way. And I think that they're going to call their plays accordingly because what you really want to do, even though you know the scoreboard is still up there and the game's going to go on, you can take the spirit away from another team. Their drive and will to come back and win can be taken with another score right here. Still third quarter, but you just get that feel. Yeah, they're teetering right there on the brink, aren't they? Throwing. Love. And it's caught inside the 30. Touchdown Packers! Christian Watson with now his second touchdown of this third quarter. And the Packers get another third quarter touchdown to add on to that lead. In order to lead in a game, you're going to get plenty of contributors, but that's the second touchdown catch of this game. He's one of the key guys in this one. And you better believe he'll be looking for the hat trick here as this one continues to go. Now McManus for the extra point. He knocks it through. It's 28-7. The long touchdown pass gets him six on a very, very tidy two-play drive that time. So the Packer kickoff team is set to go as they will kick this one away. And he will be taken down here on the return on what will wind up being the final play of this third quarter. We have played three quarters. We'll return with more after this. This is the NFL, and it's on EA Sports. Back now in Jacksonville. A lot of folks starting to make their way to the parking lot. Their guys trail big here to begin quarter number four. Jaguars come to the line to start their next drive. The last series form a little disappointing, forced a punt. And now they'll try to do better here and come away with some points as they begin this drive, first and ten. And they're going to get this beyond the 40 before he's taken down. An ideal beginning of the drive there as they'll get 20 and a first down. Those are the types of plays they probably wish they had made more of in the first three quarters. And this deficit is going to be tough to overcome here in the fourth. But a nice first down and a pickup on that throw. And this is where, as coaches, you're looking for effort and execution, even though the scoreboard is going against you. You want to find out who's going to fight, who's going to scrap, who's going to keep their heads up and continue to play. Oh, he dropped it. And that's pretty indicative of the way this one's gone. They lead big. And a major part of that has been how they've taken their play to a whole new level this second half. No points allowed since the break. And you can add another incompletion to the total number that they forced in this runaway contest. Here's Lawrence to throw. They'll set up a screen for Bigsby. Five yards. Now it's third and five. You got the big lead defensively, willing to give them that underneath stuff, right? And this is why you work on your tackling. Tackle them after the catch, inbounds, keep the clock running, just go ahead and bleed the game out that way. The Jaguars on third down. They've hit it 50%, three of six at this point. This will be third and five. Oh, it's a screen pass. It's complete. And he's brought down short. Two yards there, needed four. Yeah, and on third down, you know those pass rushers, they're in the starter's block. They're just waiting for the pistol to fire. You can almost hear the defensive coaches on the sideline pre-snap, watch the screen, watch the screen. Really good job there of identifying it and making the play to force fourth down. They run for it with Bigsby. And he won't get there. A stop of a few yards short of the line to gain. The Jags come up empty on fourth down. And that will force a turnover on downs. Partner, when you see a running play stop short like that, you just know that the defensive front, they won the battle of leverage and created a push back into the opposing backfield. And for the offensive coordinator, whether you had one yard to go or 20 yards to go on fourth down, now you're probably saying, oh, maybe I should have passed it, right? Yeah, hindsight is always 20-20. They'll run right here with Jacobs. Down to about the 45. Brandon, I've got to think this offensive line has got some smiles on its faces. And I know it sounds crazy, but they practiced for this back in training camp. They knew they'd be in situations where it'd be extra defenders in the box coming after them, trying to keep them from locking down a game. Right now, they want to show the world they're up to the challenge. Second down, Jacobs wants more. And he is going to be stopped cold behind the line of scrimmage. They'll wind up losing three. And now it's third down. A run blitz there defensively, something we might see more of here in the fourth quarter. I think we'll see a lot of it. And the difference between that and a pass blitz, pass blitz, you're trying to get to the quarterback. You're trying to scheme someone open who will get to the QB and make sure he gets on the ground. In a run blitz, you're actually trying to cover up gaps, trying to cover up holes so they can't run the football. And he's going to have a Packers first down as they're able to get the third down conversion. Well, a clear running situation, trying to take time off the clock. They ran the previous play, stepped that play action up nicely. Boy, did they ever, because they'd shown the ability to run the football, but now you lose your keys as a defense, you die for the running play, and they hit them over the top. Here's the handoff to Jacobs running left. And this defense not ready for that one as he'll take this down inside to 25. They get ten more there, and I believe that will be enough for another first down at will. And sometimes things come together exactly like you want. It's not just in the volume of carries he's had in this contest, it's in the production as well. They'll stay on the ground with Jacobs, and they're going to stop it right at the line of scrimmage. Just no cutback lane to be found whatsoever. Second and ten. How about the big guy there showing some agility, just float from a Z tackle position in order to make that play. Second and ten. Here's Jacobs from the gun. And nowhere for him to go again. He'll get back to the line of scrimmage, that's him. Calling no gain on the run there, and now they'll be looking at a third down. They've called his number a lot this afternoon. You wonder how much tread is left on those tires. We certainly do, but I always think back to one of my favorite coaches in the NFL. I always have a meeting with his running back every year in the off season and say, look, as many times as you're going to carry the ball, you should be able to carry it one more time to make sure you get in shape. And not even back to the line of scrimmage this time as they're on him quickly once more. Sometimes you just sit back and marvel at what he can do defensively. Speed, strength, quickness, he's the whole package. And that package just wrapped up the runner for a loss. Now McManus will line up for the field goal. From the right hash, this from 45 yards away. The kick by McManus is good, and that will extend their lead even further. So after four touchdowns in the game for this offense, this time they're forced into taking the three. He did mention four touchdowns, right? So four out of five, not too bad. I think that's a pretty good record for them. The kickoff unit is out on the field, and they will send this one away. And able to get this across the 20, but not much further as he's dropped at the 23-yard line. And out now comes Jacksonville as they get ready to go. And a drive that stalled out last time. Went for it on fourth, didn't get it. How does that translate here? I would imagine momentum's with the defense. Definitely with the defense, because any time anyone goes for it on fourth down, that's telling you as a defense that you can't stop us. We don't think that you can. And when you actually do, that may put a little dent in the confidence of the offense the next time they hit the field. Yeah, we'll see if they can bring that pride, the offense, this go-around. Finds his tight end, Ingram. That's good, the completion there for seven yards, and that will make it second down. One thing I think that's safe to say defensively, the tackling's been really good. And because of that, it's been very, very hard for them to move the ball because you're not getting the benefits of run after catch. And with the tackling almost on the spot, that means you have to run extra plays harder to move it. From the down, Bigsby. And that didn't fool anybody. He's going to be dropped to the backfield. It'll go down as a two-yard loss, and it brings up a third down. Continues to be a struggle for this offense and this home crowd. They're growing a little restless here in the second half. And I think they've just got to look at how they're trying to move the football. Yeah, you want to run it, but maybe you spread it out, maybe some swing passes that can take the place of runs and give you a little more space. They'll need five on this play to move the sticks. From the gun on third down, Lawrence. And that was to the right side and incomplete. Another pass attempt, another incompletion, and they're just a little over 100 yards passing here in this game. So defensively, pretty good job. They were never really able to get the ball in the hands of their playmakers. So a lot of credit to the defensive game plan and especially the execution. Here we go. Got to have it. Lawrence. Nowhere to go. Here he walks the football. And the Packers pick it up. And he'll be down at the six-yard line. And with that kind of a deficit, you can't afford to make any kind of mistakes, but it's been pretty symptomatic of what we've seen all game with them. Isn't it? Down this big in the fourth quarter. It's an afternoon to forget, absolutely. The Packers offense now, they get ready to head back onto the field. And they can run the score up even further as they begin this drive with a first and goal in that huge lead. The defense gets in the ball via the turnover. Now can this offense cash in? First and goal. There's Jacobs. And he is going to lose yardage here. That flag accepted, and it backs the offense up a little bit. Here's another first and goal, but from a little further back this time following the penalty. Running straight ahead is Jacobs. And he'll go down here at the 12-yard line. It'll be a pickup of four, and it brings up second and goal. I like it. I like the call. Still an opportunity to run the football and chew up a little more time off the clock. Still a ways from the end zone as they come up now on second and goal. One more time with Jacobs. And they are going to score again. Yet another touchdown as they just add to their total. You get in a second and long situation down here in the red zone, I'd say most defensive coaches would think pass, let's bring some pressure. This is kind of a tendency breaker here to hit them with something on the ground, and he'll take it all the way into the end zone. Now McManus to tack on the extra point. And he's been a busy man, five for five now as he knocks another one through to extend the lead. Well, that drive started with not a whole lot of real estate in front of them, and plus territory, excellent field position. Two plays later, Paydirt. So the Packer kickoff team set to go as they will kick this one away. And they'll start this drive just across the 30, pretty nice work on the return. The Jaguars offense and Trevor Lawrence getting set for this next drive. And it's been a struggle for him all afternoon. This defense has really done a nice job of making him earn everything he gets, and prevented him from getting into any kind of rhythm here today. The Jacksonville offense set to begin their next drive. Well, C.D., it's all window dressing at this point. I mean, the best they can do is end the game with a nice drive to maybe build some momentum to move forward into their next contest. Yeah, with how lopsided this game has been, even one score, might not do a lot of cosmetic good on the scoreboard, partner, because it's just about looking forward at this point. Get a touchdown here, you can feel some positive momentum and rest to focus on when you get back to practice in the next couple of days. Lawrence, a short throw to Ingram, and it'll get him down after a pickup of eight, second and two. I know sometimes we can get fooled when we watch him make catches, as we just saw him do there, because he really looks like a wide receiver the way he goes about his business. Yeah, 230, 240 range. Yeah, not super huge, maybe not counted on to be that inline point of attack blocker that we used to have in the good old days, but you can flex him out, you can run wide receiver routes with him, you can make him a primary target, and that's how he'll shred a defense. Well, this was a very close ballgame at halftime, Charles, but in the second half, that offense kind of kicked things into another gear, and they were able to pull away from the victory. And Brent, I think they're the type of team that just looked in the mirror and said, hey, ton of pressure on, but we're the type of team that can flat out handle it.
