The speaker, Mark Tamke, introduces his new sports talk show called Controlled Chaos. He is a big Minnesota sports fan and wants to discuss the targets for the Twins in the upcoming trades. He mentions some recent moves in the MLB and expresses his desire for the Twins to acquire a starting pitcher and two relievers to strengthen their bullpen. He also criticizes the Twins' ownership for not spending enough money on the team. Mark discusses a potential trade target, Garrett Clevenger, and analyzes his stats and pitch mix. He concludes by saying that he hopes the Twins will make moves to improve their chances of winning. So what's going on, everybody? I'm Mark Tamke, and this is probably going to be the first episode of Controlled Chaos. It's going to be a sports talk show, and a couple things to go over first. Big Minnesota sports fan. Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves, the whole thing. And today I really wanted to start talking about targets for the Twins. This is a first episode, something easy to talk about, not a lot of deep thinking I'm going to have to do since I know a lot more about my team. Maybe Tuesday morning, bright and early, I'll try to record something, which would be tomorrow, today's Monday. It would be something I'd try to record and do something for traded line predictions. We've already seen a lot of moves, surprisingly. I wasn't expecting to see, like, Jason Adams moved, and who else did you have? You had a plethora of, like, the Isaac Paredes trade for Christopher Morel and a ton of prospects, or not a ton, two more prospects, and then you had, there's just been moves upon moves. Like, we can go over some of those, too, if I'm really feeling it today. Let's just pull that up. So, if I go to Passon, or we can go to Jeff Passon. So, yeah, like, Michael Lorenzen got moved today. Yesterday, that Cubs move was pretty surprising, the Padres acquiring Jason Adams, and giving up Dylan Lesko, that's terrible. I mean, how are you giving up Dylan Lesko in that situation? Oh, yeah, we saw the Jazz Chisholm trade. We've seen the Mets acquire Jesse Winker. You've got Philadelphia already acquiring Carlos Estevez, so there's another reliever off the board. Danny Jansen getting moved in our division. We've seen, what else? The Brewers, Nick Mears, not, I mean, he's in Coors, so you never know. Nate Pearson getting moved to the Cubs. So, the Cubs are last place in their division, and they're making a ton of moves, some to even get better now, some maybe future plays. Nate Pearson hasn't figured it out as a Blue Jay, was a top prospect for, like, five years, so hopefully he can figure it out. Ryan Stanek getting moves, kind of an under-the-radar move. Baltimore getting Zach Eflin, another inter-division trade in that AL East. They're just making moves with each other. The Rays are kind of selling, but at the same time, they're kind of not, because I think everybody's expecting the Rays to be back next year. Maybe if they're not next year, the year after, it's just the Rays, so you never know. But, I mean, that's kind of a cool trade, Zach Eflin, kid from my hometown of Austin, Minnesota. I mean, Mac Horvath got moved, they call him the super utility man. Probably going to be a better outfielder, quite honestly, but hopefully he figures it out. Two really good farm systems at developing, people would love to see him make it. Yimmy Garcia, one of those guys I really wanted for the Twins. I had a list that I made, and it included guys like Yimmy Garcia, I had Garrett Clevenger, I had Zach Littell, because Minnesota's going to need another starter. Chris Paddock, just, I wouldn't trust him, and I don't want to go into postseason with, probably just Pablo, Ryan, Ober, SWR, but I mean, I trust him, I trust all four of them. I think that's a great one through four, but I mean, I think you need another one, whether that's a four or five. Another top-of-the-line starter would be nice, maybe Yusei Kikuchi, but I'm not going to bank on Yusei Kikuchi fixing a lot of the problems. Oh, Red Sox got Paxton, I would like Paxton, Rosa Rana getting moved. Yeah, a lot of moves have happened. It's been kind of crazy. A.J. Puk getting moved would have been a nice one for the Twins. But yeah, just in general, like a lot of moves that I wasn't expecting to see this early on. I wasn't expecting the soap to be this hot this early. So, but I'm going to start off with the Twins for today, and we'll see how this goes, and if I feel like making another one tomorrow morning, I'll probably come back, make one full trade deadline predictions. Today I'm going to do my trades that I think would work out, and then today's just a broader aspect of it. I'm not saying like, there could be three or four different left-handed relief pitchers I talk about, and that doesn't mean that I'm like, oh yeah, Twins are getting Garrett Clevenger, Chafin, Brent Suter, and Justin Wilson. I'm not going to say, because that's unrealistic. Minnesota's probably getting, I think, if I had it my way, we'd get a starter and two relievers just to help that bullpen. I mean, the righties have been pretty good. You've got Duran, Jax, Alcala's in there. You've got Cole Sands, who's in there. You've got just a ton of guys that I like. I like a lot. D'Alvaro struggled a lot, so I mean, let's just pull up those numbers. I mean, I understand that he's been a twin his whole career, and he's been here a long time, but I mean, if we just look at his stats, he pitched, I guess, decent yesterday, but a 574 ERA, a 173 whip, and 26 innings. I mean, he's just been atrocious. Can I see his deeper stats? Obviously, not on ESPN. ESPN figured out, I mean, they honestly are probably one of the, they're supposed to be the wide world of sports, and they just suck at baseball. Remember when the Luis Arias jersey went down early in the year? I was trying to look at the new Padres lineup, because I just like to follow Luis, and they still had him on the Marlins for some reason. I was like, he's not even close to being on the Marlins, so, but I mean, yeah, like his fastball below is one of the worst. The extension, he's getting, his hard hit rate's not terrible. Like, that's kind of decent, but at the same time, it's like, it's still not good. He's throwing a fastball, sweeper, and a curveball. I mean, yeah, he's just struggling. I mean, can I get, I don't know if I can even get deeper on Savant, but I mean, like, yeah, a career whip of 1.18, still with it being this year at 1.73, he's really struggled, and he's got a 5.74 ERA and a career of 3.28. I mean, this is the same organization that moved down from Glenn Perkins when he was bad, so it's time to move on from another old left-handed relief pitcher now, because there's just no point in keeping him. So, that's all there is to it, but I'm gonna, so here's a couple guys that I actually have pulled up already. I have Garrett Clevenger, and he's a guy that I'm, like, on the table for, because it already came out that, oh, the Twins are hamstrung because they're gonna have to give up big money to get something, or they're gonna have to, everybody thinks that we have to go get this high-priced guy, but it's like, ownership's already not gonna pay, that's what's being said. I mean, we cut, I think, $30 million in payroll last offseason after winning a playoff series, and it's like, can we just figure it out? Like, if we look at teams by payroll this year, excuse me, if we look at teams by payroll, I mean, and obviously this isn't gonna differ from team to team, but right now the Twins sit at 19, and I get it, the Royals are good, but a lot of young players on that team, overachieving team as well, same thing with Cleveland, Baltimore, a lot of young players, but I mean, you look at teams like Cincinnati, you look at teams like Pittsburgh hanging around 500, Tampa Bay just doesn't pay anybody, Oakland doesn't pay anybody, Miami's traded basically everybody and their mom, yeah, it's like, I just, I don't get it, we just don't go and make that move to put ourselves in, you're 58 and 46, how is ownership gonna expect the fans to be out there when you're 58 and 46, and you're just gonna say, hmm, we're not gonna try to win, and obviously spending money doesn't always correlate with winning, but I mean, like, teams that are winning that have spent money, I mean, you got Boston who's somehow spending more money than us, I don't know, you got a lot of teams around that Twins range too that are overachieving like Milwaukee, but I mean, the Orioles, the Guardians, I mean, then you look at the top, you have the Mets are winning baseball, Yankees, Astros, Philly, Atlanta, the Dodgers, the typical suspects, and then yeah, you hit a stretch of like the Cubs, Texans, Toronto, and you could say San Francisco, all teams below 500 that could be sellers, they could be, I'm not thinking San Francisco will be, but they could be, you got Boston, St. Louis, Arizona, and then you have somehow the Angels, I don't know how the Angels are spending more money than the Twins, I don't know who, I get that you're paying Mike Trout like a ton of money, I just don't know who else you're paying on that team, like, I guess Tyler Anderson, maybe that's the guy we talked about today, maybe not, who knows, but I mean, first off, let's talk about Garrett Clevenger, so this year he's got a 3-2-1 ERA, he's pitched in 47 games, a 1-2-9 whip, so the whip's a little high, I mean, you look at these baseball savants stats, his fastball speed goes up, he's got an average exit velocity that's great, gets good chase, good whiff, good K, maybe walks a couple of too many guys, and that's where that whip might, no, that's not where the whip would be coming in, because that's walks hits, so he is walking guys, he's getting kind of barreled up, but his hard hit percentage is amazing, and he just doesn't get a lot of extension, but I mean, you never know, like, he throws a cutter, foreseamer, sweeper, slider, sinker, almost the ideal pitch mix with the top pitch he uses being the cutter at 32.4%, the foreseamer at 20.7%, the sweeper at 20.2%, the slider at 18.1%, and the sinker at 8.6%, so I mean, overall, you could look at Garrett Clevenger and be like, oh, as a Twins fan, for me, I would love to, like, you know, let's take a look at the bullpen, if you, say you're taking out Beaglebar, so you take out Beaglebar, and this is a guy that you're inserting, so then you have it going down the list, Okert, Stalmont, Sands, let's say it's Clevenger, Stewart, Alcala, Jacks, and Duran, I feel so much better about that, and maybe you even have to get rid of Steven Okert, because he's been, I honestly have not been, he pitched well at the beginning of the year, I was a lot more like, oh yeah, Steven Okert, he's here, I love Steven Okert, all this other stuff, I mean, now, I mean, the exit velocity is great, his hard hit rate's great, I mean, everything else, he doesn't get any whiffs, he's striking guys out, the whips at a 1.5, he already had a 4.6, he struggled at the end of last year, Twins kind of had him for a little bit this year that he was pitching well, so maybe, maybe not, I mean, I could see him staying, I could see him going, so maybe that's where the Twins get another lefty, and they like, try to just move Okert, because, how many years does he have left? I mean, it depends if he's a free agent at the end of the year, I guess, kind of, but yeah, I mean, you could, I could see them replacing Okert and Theobar, so at the end of the year, Steven Okert has two more years of arbitration, he's already 32, so maybe Minnesota's like, hey, here's this guy that has a couple more years of arbitration, and we get a guy that's going to be a free agent, and the next year, it's like, we're going to trust Cody Funderburg's going to take that leap and be that lefty that's going to replace whoever's in there, you never know, but I mean, I do think Garrett Clevenger's a guy that Minnesota should be looking at, won't cost them a lot in terms of prospect value, and where I have them sitting, especially with, so Tampa Bay trading away a Rosarena, and not really getting a ton of, not having a ton, not getting a ton of outfield like depth in their system, for the most part, that's not Tampa Bay, that's Toronto, I'm on the Tampa Bay's tab, give me one second, we're going to refresh, Fangraphs is not cooperating, here we go, so I mean, your outfield right now is Richie Palacios, Jose Sierra, and Josh Lowe, I mean, yes, no, depends, so for Garrett Clevenger, and these values match up perfectly, you get DeSean Kersey Jr. and Matt Cantorino, they're two older prospects, but DeSean Kersey Jr. has been playing really well at AAA, he, I mean, last year between AA and AAA, he was, at AAA he had 264, had a 375 on base, hit two home runs, but that was in 39 games, he's not a home run machine, but this year he's got 10 in 74 games, he's got 15 doubles, four triples, 55 RBIs, 34 walks to 79 strikeouts, and 21 stolen bases, he plays good defense, he has been hitting better, not known for the bat, but I mean, you're looking to move Garrett Clevenger, who's a little bit older, and you're getting DeSean Kersey Jr., could be a good backup outfielder, could start for you next year, you never know, Ray's turned these guys around like this, and you get Matt Cantorino, who could be coming in, and he's pitched at the Major League level, I'm pretty sure, a lot of injury history, doesn't even, oh, he's pitched in spring train, that's why I was like, oh, I thought he's pitched at the Major League level, but it's not showing anything, so, but at AA last year, in 11 games, he started 10 of them, I mean, a 183 ERA, 50ks to 22 walks, the average against was 142, was a .142, a 1.14 whip, so I mean, Cantorino, again, injury history, older, but again, one of those guys that I feel like the Rays would be like, hey, you're just not cutting it as a starter, you're injured too much, let's take that workload off of you, and let's move you to a bullpen arm, and they could just, boom, they could have another just solid guy that they're going to move in the next couple years, yes, he's 26, but I mean, the way that the contract system's set up, they're not going to have to pay him for a long time, then they're going to move him at the deadline in a couple years and get probably the next Junior Caminero for him, so, overall, the Rays don't really have the outfield, so that's where Deshaun Kersey Jr. comes in, and then you're looking at a guy like Matt Cantorino that can come in and probably be a bullpen arm for you, I mean, the Twins wanted him to be at AAA this year, but he's hurt again, so, we'll see, the next guy I have up comes from an interdivision trade, and it's Andrew Chafin, so his whip hat is a little bit higher this year than it is usually throughout his career, this year it's at a 138, lower than last year, which is at a 1.42, but I mean, Minnesota was linked to Chafin last year, they've been linked to Chafin, I feel like this year, they've linked to Chafin, it seems like every year, I mean, he gets good chase, good whip, good K percentage, walks a little bit, but misses the barrel, he's pretty good at avoiding the hard hit balls, gets good extension, I mean, doesn't throw an amazingly fast fastball, but I mean, it's not in the pitch that he uses the most, he's using a slider, sinker, foreseamer, I mean, and he's just one of those guys, again, that the Twins have been linked to, seems like a Twins type of guy, I mean, and just like Clevenger, like Clevenger's getting $750,000 this year, he's got arbitration for the next three years, and then this is, so if we look at Andrew Chafin, I'm pretty sure he's a free agent at the end of the year, and he, no, he has a club option, so basically, you could say one year left, because I don't think, if the Twins were to get him, they're not picking up that $6.5 million club option, as a 35-year-old, especially if he's showing that his whip's going to be up, and everything else, and he's just aging, and you have guys in the system that could come up like Cody Funderburg, but I mean, let's look at a deal here between the Twins and the Tigers, and again, I am using baseball trade values for this, so take it with a grain of salt, I mean, you never know how good or how bad it could be, so we're gonna get Chafin in here, and again, I feel like this could be a move for the Twins, like, yeah, we're gonna move Ochert, even though he has that arbitration left, and there it is, it's like Ochert has more value than Chafin, and maybe it's just that little bit of an age difference, maybe it's because Ochert has the years of control that Chafin doesn't, but I mean, overall, Ochert's at a 1.2, Chafin's at a .7, so Minnesota's not gonna have to give up a lot to get Chafin, it's $4.5 million more, and if we look back at Ochert's contract for this year, he's making like $1 million, so it could be a move for Minnesota, like, hey, it's $3.5 million that we're taking on, why not do it, maybe you try to throw in Kyle Farmer for whatever reason, like, and what does that contract even look like, because I'm sure the Tigers, if he's getting paid a lot, are not gonna want to have to keep him, but again, it could just be looking that maybe you throw in Ochert Farmer, yeah, Farmer's getting paid like $6 million, and it's a mutual option next year, so I doubt that Farmer gets thrown in, but you're probably throwing in maybe something like Ochert and a very low prospect, like some guy at rookie ball, or high A, or low A, or whatever, so I'm not saying they're gonna get both, I would love both, I'd love to move off of Ochert, get Chafin, I'd love to move off Steelebar and get Clevenger, I feel like that, I mean, even just looking again, if you look at that Twins bullpen after that, then you're looking at Ochert, and, no, you're looking at top to bottom, I mean, Ochert, and that was the long relief pitcher, I think maybe you move Sands into that role, maybe you get one lefty, and then when Paddock comes back, that's where he goes, and you pick up another starter, so again, not saying anything, but let's just go, let's just say Cole Sands becomes a long relief pitcher, then you're getting Sands, Stalmont, and then we're gonna throw in Chafin, Clevenger, Brock Stewart, Jorge Alcala, Griffin Jackson, that's a top rotation, or a top, not rotation, bullpen to me, I like that a lot, I mean, again, Paddock's probably gonna come back, probably gonna end up getting moved to the pen, in all likelihood, and you're gonna get Topa back, so I mean, when Topa comes back, I could see somebody like Sands, Alcala, or Stalmont getting moved down, maybe they take somebody out of the bench, I don't know who that would be, because right now your bench is Vasquez, Larnik, Margot, and Martin, maybe it'd be Austin Martin, but, I mean, that's your only guy that's gonna play the infield, I think Brooks leaves the bench, you're gonna get sent back down, he's kind of been struggling a little bit when Correa comes back, so, we'll just see what happens there, but I mean, those are two guys that I really like, I mean, maybe then, you could look at another righty, maybe, like, I haven't seen Stalmont pitch in a while, I don't think I've seen Alcala pitch in a while, but Alcala's been good, Stalmont's been good, Sands has been good, Brock Stewart's been good, Chax has been good, Duran's been good, the rotation's been good between Pablo, Ryan, Ober, and SWR, I mean, Festa's there, Festa's not staying in the rotation, I don't think, this year, which is why it does make sense that Minnesota's gonna go after a rental starting pitcher, because you have a guy like Festa that's gonna be coming up, so, I don't think they, I don't, I think that crosses Eric Fetty off the list, so, maybe you, you could see, like, a Yusei Kikuchi, you could see, how long does Tyler Anderson have left on his deal, I could have had all this pulled up, but it's a little bit more fun just to do it now, and it makes it a little bit easier just to be able to hop on and record, I've tried doing this multiple times before, and I've never got to submit anything, if I could get Tyler Anderson up here, please, come on, spot rack, maybe it's just my computer acting slow, I'm not sure, Anderson's getting 13 million this year, and 13 million next year, so that's not gonna happen, so, it crossed Tyler Anderson off the list, I mean, I honestly don't know what Minnesota's gonna have to look for, because I, I originally thought, like, a guy like Luis Severino could make a lot of sense, but the Mets have started winning since, I mean, honestly, I wouldn't be, let's look at this guy, see if I'm totally, see if arbitration left, so, he's got a year of arbitration left, it's Paul Blackburn, so, Paul Blackburn's a guy that I've honestly wanted the Twins to reach out for for a while, I mean, I, let's look at what's going on here, a 1.16 whip, he's started nine games, 4-4-1, I mean, I'm not gonna complain, he's got a career 1.4 whip, a career 4-8-3 ERA, the perfect number five for this team, he throws fastball cutter, changeup slider, curveball sinker, now, that literally is the perfect pitch mix of a four-seamer cutter, changeup slider, curveball sinker, say it again, in that order, that's what he uses, so, Paul Blackburn, to me, does make a lot of sense for the Twins, how much are they predicting for him to cost is the real question, if I am the Twins looking to get Paul Blackburn, and looking at baseball trade values, he does a 2.6, I mean, another guy, you're gonna get him for another year, if you really want to, he's only making 3.5 million this year, you get him one more year through arbitration, and then he's a free agent, you can let him walk, and then maybe that's when FESTA's ready, maybe you're looking to move FESTA in the offseason to get another front of the line rotation, maybe you'd love to move Paul Blackburn with him, but again, I think a 30-year-old Paul Blackburn is the perfect type of trade for a team like Minnesota, I mean, he's pitching better than Paddock is, and if we look back at his Savant page, I mean, he doesn't walk guys, he's getting hit a little bit, but you never know, I mean, maybe just that change of scenery into a winning environment, into a clubhouse with Pablo Lopez, Joe Ryan, Bailey Over, SWR, you're getting Correa, Buxton, you're getting all these winning guys around you, it seems like it's a great environment at the moment, I could really see a guy like Paul Blackburn coming in and pitching about as well as we've seen him pitch a long time, he's by no means a bad pitcher, like, let's just, if we just want to look at his career stats even, like, I mean, and I do think that's a true thing, like, guys struggle when they're in losing environments, and I guess the moment, the last time the A's were winning in, like, 2019, maybe right before the pandemic, so he struggled that year, he struggled in the pandemic year, struggled the year after that, but, I mean, the only year he's had an ERA before beat Lola Four was 2017, his first year, and that's when he pitched 10 games, hasn't pitched more than 21 games, but he's only at nine at the moment, he's only at nine games, and he has a one, that whip is hard to ignore too, that 1.16 whip, I mean, he's not allowing a lot of hits, so what would be the issue with bringing in a guy that's not allowing a lot of hits, he doesn't walk, guys, and he's just on a bad team overall, I mean, it's a buy low option for the Twins, I really like it, I think Paul Blackburn could be a big addition for a team like this, and I'll go, and I'll give two more guys, because again, this isn't my final predictions, again, there hasn't been any talk of Paul Blackburn when he moved this offseason, so if we look at, who's another team, so we went to the Athletics, I mean, is there anybody on the Angels, and realistically, probably not, the Angels are just a poorly run organization, I mean, the rumors that they're looking to move Reid Detmer are kind of crazy to me, I wouldn't say no, oh, Luis Garcia could be another one, let's look at what he's doing, that's a right-handed bullpen piece, so maybe not, who is another team that could be looking to sell, I mean, the Cubs, you never know, I think that you're going to get a lot, I think they're going to be getting a lot of calls on Justin Steele, and do I think Minnesota makes a move for Steele or Telleon, no, do I think they can make a move for maybe a Hector Neris, maybe, maybe a Drew Smiley, but I'm not really going to entertain those, because I don't think that's realistic enough to be like, oh yeah, they're going to go after this, I don't think Kel Quantrill makes sense, I did think he could, but I don't think so anymore, I mean, I'm looking at a team like, let's just throw up Tanner Scott, I mean, a couple trade deadlines ago, Minnesota went out and got Sam Dyson, who I liked at the time, really actually was very happy about that they got Sam Dyson, and then it turns out that he was doing a lot of bad things behind the scenes, saying he had an injury history, yeah, Tanner Scott at a 5.5, yes, he is the best left-handed relief arm on the market, free agent at the end of the year, but why does it matter, make the best rotation possible, or the best rotation, the best bullpen possible, and make a run at it, I mean, get Tanner Scott, bring him in, what's it going to cost you, so let's just say that he's got, what, 5.5 in trade value, I mean, honestly, if you're the twins, one guy I think that you could be looking at is Kalai Rosario, all right, so here's who Kalai Rosario is, he's number 15th ranked prospect in the twin system, he's 22, he's at AA, and he had a decent year last year, 252, this was at high, he hit 252 in 118 games, 364 on base, hit 21 home runs, struck out 157 times, so 75 walks, he's cut that down in just 52 games, he's at 63 to 30, and this is at AA, he had six home runs, he's got a 342 on base, 241 average, but I mean, it really depends on what the Marlins are looking for, maybe a C.J. Culpepper could be on the move, like, Minnesota does have guys that are pitching well, you could trade maybe a Tanner Schoble, now, would I want to, probably not, but at AA, kind of struggling, but I could see Tanner Schoble being on the move, especially with the recent draft of, like, all the infield talent that the twins got, I mean, a Yunor Severino move maybe, now, again, would I like to see Yunor Severino get moved, no, but he's hitting 233 at AA, he's got a 320 on base, though, 511 slugging, 11 home runs, so I think that could be something that makes sense, is to look at a team like the Marlins and say, well, and it could get more expensive, it definitely could just because of the pitching value, it sounds like, I think I saw something that said all, yeah, Yunor Severino doesn't even cover it, so, I mean, Clay Rosario, maybe Severino, and you throw in a pitching prospect like a C.J. Culpepper, let's see how much they rank Culpepper at, 5.7, so you can move Culpepper straight up for Scott, but Scott's value could get bumped up so much because you're going to get teams like the Yankees, the Dodgers, the Astros, you're going to get everybody that's contending, that wants to win a World Series, the Phillies, everybody's going to be in on this guy because he is by far the best relief pitcher left on the market, and a lefty too, so, and then we'll do one more here, and then this will probably wrap it up, and then I'll try to upload this, and overall, I hope everybody's liking this, I'm going to try to improve it as time goes on, so if you want to stick around and follow me, I'm going to try to put this on Spotify, on YouTube, and everywhere else that I can basically throw this out there for, so we talked about one starting pitcher, let's talk about another one, let's find a team that could be looking to move some starters here, Washington maybe, maybe Washington's looking to move one, I mean, Jacob Irving, I'm pretty sure he's a Minnesota boy, maybe, got a lot of control though, so, probably not, I mean, it's so hard right now with how every team is competing, it feels like, like Baltimore's competing, Boston, Cleveland, Detroit, you could even make the case you shouldn't be selling, but I think they're going to Houston, Kansas City, Minnesota, the Yankees, Seattle, Tampa Bay could still be competing, they're 54 and 52, and they're moving pieces away, but they're guys that they know that they're gonna be able to replace, Texas seems like they don't want to move guys, if Texas was willing to, I'd honestly, if I was Minnesota, so you're going back to the AL West, where we've already talked about getting Paul Blackburn, and I'd look, I didn't take a look at a guy like Dane Dunning or John Gray, so, let's look at what Dane Dunning and John Gray are doing, first, let's look at the contract, because, obviously, that's what's going to matter, because Minnesota doesn't spend money, we are probably going to cut more salary cap at some point, oh, not Jonas Gray, I said John Gray, thank you, though, for trying to clarify, yeah, John Gray is getting paid 13 million next year, that's not going to happen, I mean, Dane Dunning, if he has arbitration, maybe he would, I don't know, yeah, he's got two more years of arbitration, but he's 20, excuse me, he's 29, and again, I don't think Texas is moving guys like this, but there could be a world in which I do think they do, and that is if, well, what does Texas need, what does Texas's lineup look like, I mean, they have Langford, Adolis Garcia has been struggling, no, I mean, I mean, Robbie Grossman, yes, he hits lefties well, so that could bode well for Minnesota, Minnesota really doesn't care about moving off of Max Kepler, not like, yep, we've got Larnik, we've got Walner, we've got Rodriguez is in the farm system, we've got all these different guys, maybe that is where you make your money on a Dane Dunning move, Dane Dunning pitching to a 4-7-6, 1-3-4 whip, 16 games, 12 of them he started, the underlying stats aren't great, he, Kay's guys doesn't walk guys, so I mean, maybe Minnesota looks at Dane Dunning, you can always look at Colorado, you can, because you just, again, you just never know with teams, especially like in Colorado, where it's such a bang box for hitters, it's like, what does Kyle Freeland look like, what does Austin Gomber look like, what does Kyle, but Kyle Contrell's been struggling and he's pitched better at Coors than he has anywhere else, so that just doesn't kind of line up, but I mean, like, Austin Gomber has been pitching decent this year, maybe, but again, I wouldn't feel comfortable like just throwing out Austin Gomber, and I honestly think that Minnesota's not going to make a move, everybody's going to be going, Yusei Kikuchi, Yusei Kikuchi, everybody keeps saying like, oh, I don't, I just, I don't see it, I get that he's a rental piece, but I just, I don't see, unless if baseball's on, it's going to change my, look on Yusei Kikuchi, I'd be very surprised, I mean, a 1-3-4 whip, maybe, I mean, maybe they just changed my mind, that whip is good, he K's a lot of guys, I don't watch him pitch, I can't watch my favorite team even play, I don't pay for volley, I just follow him, he's got a 4-7-5 ERA though, I mean, maybe, what is he going to cost, that's really the big deal, yet again, Minnesota's not going to part with the top prospect, which is why I wish, like, if the Cubs were really sellers this year, if the Cubs were really selling off pieces, in Minnesota, I would be like, yep, trade Emmanuel Rodriguez and go and get, go and get Justin Steele, the values almost line up, I think even the Twins give up value for Justin Steele, but I mean, Emmanuel Rodriguez for Justin Steele, I would do, but I mean, yeah, Kikuchi at a 4.9, so again, a rental piece, Minnesota's not going to have to give up a lot for him, and overall, I think that if you're going to narrow down five targets for the Minnesota Twins this year, you're going to have to go Clevenger, Chafin, Kikuchi, Blackburn, and then take your pick of, like, maybe one of the red relievers, but overall, I'm just going to wrap that up there, I mean, I haven't recorded that long, but I mean, I think that's a good enough time for us here, so I'm going to try to upload this, and hopefully we'll be able to see Alpaca for a crazy Tuesday trade deadline, and I'll come back with my predictions tomorrow, hopefully you guys stick around, hopefully this was a great video for all of you, and I'm going to get this uploaded, and you guys have a great day, thank you.
