But this is the base and if you can see here, there is an O-ring and so when we place the wall and we apply pressure, that filter, the base of the production cell, if you look behind, is connected to, through this tubing, to the red valve and these long tubes will connect to the top of the sample and if we look behind, they are connected to the black valve. That is how we can control opening the valve or closing the valve, depending on which test we want to run. So the other component of a triaxial cell is the wall and I make sure that the base is clean. I make sure that the wall, the edge of the wall is clean and so I can close the wall and I will show you in a few minutes how to set up the sample, but for now, let me just show you the components of just the triaxial cell. And this is the top portion of the triaxial cell, this goes on top of the first sample and these tubes connect into the top. Finally, we have the top, which also has an O-ring that also seals with the wall and it has a system and a way to lock it and unlock it and so this system can move very smoothly without too much friction and it can seal under large pressures. So the system can be, or the top can be set up like so and I could lock the system on the side and finally, everything is put together through these steel, stainless steel arms and again, I'll show you in a few minutes with a sample, but basically, these are all the components. I also want to point out, to simulate it all, here on top there is a quick connector that we can use for venting the cell or for connecting the pressure sensors and down here, there is another quick connector that we will use for injecting water into the chamber.
