Poem: Boerneef, Song: Lourens Faul: Ek is 'n pakdonkie en my naam is Koffie; oorlat ek swart is; ek dra my pak/oor die ver vlak van seressekaromy baas is goed vir my/maar soms vergeet hy/en as ek praat dan se hulle siejystilbly! " I'm a pack donkey and my name is Koffie because I'm black/I bear my pack far into the Ceres Karoo. That's it and that is what lies ahead .because I m a donkey. My boss treats me well but sometimes he forgets and when I speak up they all say "will you keep quiet!"
