CASE STURDY :RWANDA COFFEE INDUSTRY - Rwanda’s coffee sector has historically been based on traditional farming and mass production techniques. However, recent shifts toward speciality coffee and niche markets have introduced more flexible production methods, with smallholder farmers collaborating in cooperatives. These cooperatives focus on value addition, quality improvements, and direct exports to international markets. This transition has been spurred by international demand for coffee.
