Millwall is interested in loaning Crystal Palace duo Jess Raksacki and David Ozu. There are mixed opinions on whether Millwall should focus on developing their own youth players or loaning players from other clubs. Raksacki has had a successful loan spell at Anorak, while Ozu is a less known player. Crystal Palace's success and potential delay in making a decision on the players' futures are factors to consider. Overall, it is a strange situation for Millwall, but they may trust the club's judgment. Lions TV, we are sponsored by Bingo Elevators and Lyfts Consultants Ltd, accompany... Lions TV, this is the daily, bringing you all the latest gossip, views and transfer news from in and around the den this morning, the news was broken by the Messiah, himself, Richard Carley, on London News Online and in the South London Press, that Millwall are interested in loaning Crystal Palace duo, Jess Raksacki and David Ozu, this will definitely get tongues wagging and get heads turning for many, many reasons which we're going to get into in this video, I'll put it out there on social media and of course I was expecting the comments that came straight away, why are we not developing our own youth system and our own young talent, why are we again going to other clubs and developing their players, only to see them once again vanish into the distance and then never play for our club, all the while our youth team players have been sitting on the bench, Ida Momaku, Romain Essay, Adam Mayer, they were all mentioned amongst others in social media posts that I'd seen or comments that I'd seen on my social media posts, let's get into it, right first and foremost let's look at the players, Jess Raksacki had a very successful loan spell last season down the road at the Anarac scoring 15 goals in 43 games in a team that was very much struggling to build the worst finish that the trained spotters had had in a long, long time, languishing well below the mid-table in League 1, so he's really put his stock up in terms of where he is in his career, were Crystal Palace expected to do that, well I'm not sure, he's clearly highly rated at the club, he's been there since he's a child, he's from Southwark as well which is an extra kick in the bollocks actually, he did his youth career at Chelsea, Ozu on the other hand is a little bit more of an unknown entity, he is a hard hitting central midfielder allegedly, he's played 10 times for Crystal Palace this season coming off the bench in games that they have had, he's two years younger than Raksacki, he's 19 years old and are they going to be part of Oliver Klaassen's plans, I'm not sure they are, Crystal Palace unfortunately it pains me to say it are on the up, they lost only three games in the 13 that he had in charge so far the manager, winning seven of those and drawing the other three as you can see there, which is attractive interest for him from Bayern Munich, however he said he's not interested and he is staying put in South London and as a result of that, Vincent Kompany ends up getting, or he's going to get, I'm not sure if it's been confirmed yet, the Bayern Munich job, he must have an absolute fantastic agent after winning only five games with Burnley last season in the Premier League and getting relegated, so there's lots of ways to look at this, first and foremost the Crystal Palace side, does it bother you, it doesn't particularly bother me, it worked before, of course with Jason Punch he had a really really good short as well though, lone spell at the Den and developing her own talent, yes I completely get that, however I'm not sure, I'm just assuming that the club feel that these players are currently a level above what we already have, Raksak is that great league experience, albeit in League One and as I said Ozu's made those performances off the bench for Palace in the Premier League, so it's two players we could definitely be interested, well according to Richard Calaby I'm definitely interested, so the Crystal Palace side developing their own talent, it does pain me and I'm a massive advocate for that, we need to develop our own players, I lost my shit the other week when I was on holiday when I saw the players that had been released once again, they've been at the club forever and ever and never given a chance, but maybe these players are a level above that, but again it begs the question, what's our scouting process, are we not getting the right players in or do we have to face reality and say do you know what, we're sort of below the pecking order as I said Raksak actually started his career at Chelsea, went to Palace, they are up the road, they are a little neighbour of course, they are in the Premier League and currently doing well and looking to push to another level under their new manager Klasner. So I think we have to trust the club's judgement on this as much as it pains me to say it and it's not because they're Palace, it's because we've got our own players there waiting in the wings, but a team that keeps winning leagues and getting to Cup Finals is clearly not developing the players that we want and are good enough for our level, it will be interesting to see if they do come in, how they fare in this division because of course the Championship is a completely different type of football and a very different and a very very competitive, very physical, so it will be interesting to see if they do come in, Raksak is attracting a lot of other interest from other teams. The one other strange thing that I saw in this article from Richard Cowley is, it says that if Crystal Palace are going to make a decision on where these two futures, short term futures lie, then they're going to wait until the end of July, of course our season starts early August and as we've seen with Oda Femi and Tanganga coming in, ok it was January but they needed game time to get up to speed, it would just benefit us, it looks like they're trying to do our business early, to get these players in amongst the group and get them bedded in and settled in early doors, then turning up a week, maybe two before the season starts is not going to be the best prep for them, we're not going to get the best out of them in the start of the season, so it's a strange one, yes and are they there on the back burner and are we going to go after other players first and foremost and if we don't get those players then look at Raksak and Oza, I'm sure Neil Harris will want to fill those positions early like I said and is he going to go for players thinking well they're there if we need them but I'd rather have this player or shall I not take this player because I've obviously got the potential. Yes. Of those two to fill the void, it's a very strange one, of course lots to take in considering and if I don't get the players I want I've got those two on the back burner to sort of fill the void, it's a very very strange situation that we find ourselves in, in my opinion and it's a lot to take and if I don't get those players that I'm after of course I'm mindful that I've got those players there on the back burner if needed, if they haven't already gone out on loan to other players, it's a strange situation but it is what it is and there is lots to consider, of course the Palace ties which as I said before doesn't really bother me. It's a very very strange situation and if not I've got those other two players there to fill the void, it's a very, but if not I've got those other two players there to fill the void and will you be mindful of that and maybe shall I go for this player, he sort of throws it into panic a little bit, it's a very very strange situation to find ourselves in but we are in it according to Richard Cowley and there's lots to take into consideration of course, there's the Crystal Palace ties which as I've already said doesn't really bother me, there's the non-development of our own players if this was to happen and it's the potential of them turning up a week slash two before the season starts, not the best start for player or club, I will let you know more on it as it comes but according to Richard Cowley that could be as late as end of July.
