I'm just gonna tell you about the things that I did I really feel like we should get rid of mm-hmm so cleaning out our closet 2024 a lot of y'all are gonna start going to the gym or a lot of y'all have started going to the gym I like we've on New Year's resolution every year same same thing but this is my issue cuz I I don't go to the gym often but I'm an avid gym goer if that makes sense whatever that means so but when I'm in there I do see these people in the new year happen all the time these guys got you know the big gut 3000 and all they focusing on is benching 400 benching 300 squatting 325 225 going and doing bicep curls on get your big butt on the stair master this is the problem you're starting in the wrong places there's no need for you to keep building muscles on your arms your arms already big dog your chest is already big so so what you're describing is a concept and this is I don't want to go doctor it on you but follow me here there's a book I read by Simon Sinek called start with why and I think what you're describing is everybody will say I'm gonna change my eating habits or I'm gonna start going to the gym more and the first question they should ask themselves is why like are you trying to lose weight are you trying to build muscle are you trying to like improve your cardiovascular health what are you here for and I don't think and I think this is why people struggle with sticking to diets and going to the gym all the stuff they don't have a goal like what is your goal what are you working towards you can't just be in the gym saying I want to lose weight and you just in there doing squats you're not gonna lose weight doing a whole bunch of squats that's not the way that works correct like you need to spend some time doing some background research and value the professional always value the professional there's a reason why personal trainers exist if you truly want your body to look a certain way there are people who can help you with that and you know stop being do your own research guy like a lot of I don't need a personal trainer I already looked up some stuff and then I'm gonna just do that no you're not get the paint a personal trainer and they can get your body looking the way that it that you want it to look whenever I get back in the gym or whenever like go back to the gym after like going on a small hiatus first thing I do man you know I do like two weeks of cardio two weeks of cardio like that's where you're going yeah honestly the reason we're in the gym is to lose weight and look good right that's you if anybody goes to the gym and tells you anything different then um maybe maybe skinny people are trying to build muscle or whatnot but if you if you if you in the gym and you and you got a little weight on you we know why you there I have very simple like exercise goals and it started from what I was just describing like it was like why am I doing this so my exercise goals are very simple number one I want to look good with my clothes on mm-hmm and I want to look good with my shirt off mm-hmm and so I exercise in a manner that will help me work towards those goals like I'm not trying to be a bodybuilder I'm not trying to I'm not trying to get abs I'm just it's just like if I'm at the beach and we take a little picture at the beach or you know I'm I'm putting my toes in the sand and my shirts off I want people to walk by and not say ill I don't need them to say but just don't say ill yeah grown men past 35 and still in the gym building muscle I'd be like bro what are you doing what are we doing oh I can tell you what they're doing they're looking for them women in the gym I mean I understand that but like we ain't trying to be there ain't no need to be no bodybuilders no more ain't no need for us to try look man if my clothes get outside of a large t-shirt and the size pants that I wear I'm doing something wrong and see that's the other thing though like for other people though because this is who y'all are annoying everybody has a hobby especially men I can't I can't speak for women specifically but I know men all have a go-to hobby and some men's go-to hobby is working out like they work out because that's just what they like to do they don't have a goal it's just I imagine if I go in a different way you know just give me you know get my mind off of things that's what I do and so for those people y'all in a way like when you got all little weights and you taking up the machines like you know that's what planet fitness is for I remember well not really I remember being in planet fitness last when I um last year around March and the dude said man I was in the locker room and you know we was in the locker room amongst I want y'all understand like I'd be in there but I don't be in there but it was amongst people that they knew like hey you be in here and they said and I'd be I sure enough be happy when these doggone they didn't say doggone but uh they said when these doggone um New Year's resolution people get out of this gym cuz they getting tired of y'all they really get like the people that go to the gym like Doc says that do it as a hobby and do it often and they're there they realize when the uptick of people are coming in they be like you're not here often or you usually not here during this time and then they realize it's New Year's resolution I really wish y'all would leave because before then I could take this bench and I can sit here on the squat rack and I can squat and then bench and do all this and in one session now I gotta wait for you to get out the way and use the dumbbells or do all this like they really want y'all to leave and again I don't understand the fade out time on this so your New Year's resolution is I'm gonna get in the gym I'm gonna work out more why are you no longer in the gym and like March like there's no way you're gonna meet your goal if you were like yeah I'm in here I'm in here I'm in here and then you get to Easter and you're like I'm not gonna be here no more isn't the goal to look good when it's time to be outside and showing off your body New Year's resolutions are unrealistic mmm and I think I need everybody to understand that well we need to give up in 2024 as well I would say this on the next show but I'm gonna say this on this show New Year's resolutions give them up stop it if you're gonna do it you do it in December speaking of doing it in December what are we talking about this week we're talking about Cardi B Cardi and Offset. Offset? I don't think he says it. He don't say Offset? I don't think he says like set or something. I know Takeoff would say Takeoff. RFP. Quavo would say Quavo. I don't think Offset. Maybe he does say Offset. But why are we talking about Cardi and Offset? So tell them the story. As the past is going we already know like Offset's cheated on Cardi B. Offset's got Cardi B back. Offset had a baby. They had two babies? They got two babies together right? I thought I think they have two babies. He got outside kids? Oh yeah he got outside kids. No but I'm saying did he have a baby on her? Okay no he had babies before. Okay but um I think they got two kids together and um yeah so we already know he's cheated got a bad cheat he got a bad and lately as of lately he's cheated and ain't no coming back from this one mm-hmm and um Cardi B about to be gone mm-hmm and so what we want to talk about is um fellas this one's for y'all. Ladies y'all can listen too but fellas this one's for y'all. We want to talk about the point of no return. Do it! Hey listen fellas do not get to the point of no return. Do not get to the point of no return. Because I'm gonna tell you one thing um I've never been at the point of no return but I can I can understand what the point of no return is and uh it ain't have it ain't a good place to be in. I've been at the point of no return but it wasn't because of cheating it was just like you had the point of no return and so let me speak let me speak to it this way. It is not a great feeling when you had somebody and you lost them because it was your fault and now you have no options to rectify the situation and I've been on both sides of that. I've been I've been the person who was like yep I messed that up and there's nothing I can do. I've also been on the other side of I've been with somebody and they messed it up and it was nothing they could do and speaking from both perspectives it's not a good feeling to be the person who's at the point of no return. I've been at the point of no return early on like in like a dating phase of like dang bro you had that and like you messed it up and it's gone but I've never been at the point of no return like a Cardi B offset situation. Like in a marriage. Like not even in a marriage but like a serious relationship serious relationship where like it is a long-term thing where like y'all been like y'all been together for a minute and like you know we are we always feel like this this is never going like she'll never leave me I'll never leave her but then like when they finally gone like you have to sit there and be like dang dang it she ain't coming back. For offset and this is what like like Doc says for men we're doing this for the men for a serial cheaters or like you know people that are they just can't say committed in a relationship like there's a mentality that you feel that it's always gonna be there. Mm-hmm. And you be like she ain't going nowhere you know I cheated on her three times already she done took me back like what's the fourth time gonna do and you do it the fourth time and she gone. Warning warning warning like that's the thing women women be warning y'all and like and I think that that's that's the first thing that's the first nugget is we often will say things like don't ignore it don't ignore the red flags fellas do not ignore the warning. Women will warn you they will tell you like when they do the whole like the whole break up the makeup thing when they start ignoring your calls for a few days or they pack up their stuff and go stay at their mama house or they tell you a man you need to leave for a few days that's a warning you have been warned right so don't don't be caught off guard when the next statement is you know what like I got me an apartment and I have already moved out and I will not be back like that that should not catch you off guard because you've been given the warning the warning has been given and so your first step as if you're not gonna make the decision to like change your life then your first step is all right what is her limit how far can I push this and let me stay away from that line as much as possible because that's that's kind of what the issue has been for offset I don't think he knows for sure how crazy his wife is he don't know well see this is and the more you mess around the more you find out and this is what you said this the thing that you say is like you need to find her line and like say what can I do to like stop her from getting to that limit it ain't even about that so this is about you stop cheating well see they ain't gonna see that's the thing Larry ain't gonna do right no no no no this has to be a come to Jesus conversation right here you really got to come to Jesus with yourself because the only way that you stop being in the point of no return is for you to realize what's getting you in the point of no return all right well let's sit down on the couch let's talk about it because we gonna talk about we gotta talk about it what is it fellas why can you not resist this outside why can you not resist the outside the outside make them sit what is it what is it Chris Rock said in a stand-up special who later had to divorce his wife because he was cheating at the only thing better than new then good good is new good good that's what he said right what is it fellas what I think you got to understand I think for like dudes in this situation like offset where they just be cheating like that I don't think their intention is ever to be satisfied so what is their intention their intention is to I don't know how to say it but like go with the flow I always go with the net like they may follow the lines of like I'm gonna get married I love this girl I'm gonna do this but at the end of the day their intention is never to be satisfied because people we know guys married in relationships married in relationships we know guys that are married we know guys that are in long-term relationships we know guys that haven't cheated we know guys that like have been committed to one person for years and all of them have a common denominator of that you know how to cut that outside noise out like you're not like at this point you realize like what you have is the best of what you can get now granted it's not saying I can't like it's women out there all day all day every day I can get some from any woman out here it's still woman out here listening for me but I stay committed to this it's the beard no I didn't say they listen for me I was just saying oh I'm just saying they look for the beard though yeah I mean not really no no no but um don't talk down about this if you are the catch I know I'm the catch it's just not the beard oh it's the you yeah yeah if I cut the beard buddy ain't that changing yeah bro ain't nothing Larry less hair still cracking out here in these streets yeah but nah but nah but like like I said I think I think you know there's a common denominator like you know you realize like I can get what I want but this is what I want I don't know maybe it's like a set a sense of insecurity um what the art what's the let's try to dig we're gonna try to dig into the mindset the psychological mindset of these people like so give me something that's your thing what's your thing like something you like all right let's take a break oh yeah let's go and and when we come back I'm gonna break down when I'm one of my quote my core philosophies on life and then that will kind of lead towards the answer to the question you're trying to formulate it's not a plumb line
