Now, take four deep breaths, starting with the breath so you can let go of any tension that you may be holding on to. Let's bring our focus and attention to your toes, feeling the sensation of your toes as you take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, allow all the tension in your toes to melt away. Let them completely relax. And now, move your awareness to your feet. Take another deep breath in, and as you exhale, release any tension in your feet. Feel the muscles in your feet becoming loose and free of any stress. Shift your focus to your ankles and calves. Inhale deeply, and as you exhale, let go of any tension that's in those areas. Feel your lower legs beginning to become heavy and relaxed. Now, move your attention to your knees and thighs. Inhale, and as you exhale, release any tension from your knees and thighs. Feel this warmth of relaxation spreading through your upper legs. And now, bring that awareness to your hips and pelvis. Taking a big, deep breath in, and as you exhale, let go of any tightness in this area. Feel your hips becoming soft and at ease. And now, continue to your lower back and abdomen. Inhale deeply, and as you exhale, release any tension from your lower back and abdomen. Feel the soothing sensations of relaxation spreading through your core. Shift your focus now to your chest and upper back. Inhale, and as you exhale, release any stress or tension that's in this area. Feel your chest and upper back becoming light and at peace. And now, become aware of your hands and arms. Taking a deep breath in, and as you exhale, let go of any tension in your hands and arms. Feel the muscles in your arms becoming pleasantly loose and relaxed. Move your attention to your shoulders. Inhale deeply, and as you exhale, release any tension in your shoulders. Feel them sinking down, away from your ears. And finally, bring your awareness to your neck and your head. Taking a deep breath in, and as you exhale, let go of any stress, any tension that's in your neck. Feel your neck and head becoming completely relaxed. Just take a moment to enjoy the sensation of complete relaxation now, as it envelops your entire body. You can feel in this state of deep relaxation that your mind and body are at ease, because you are allowing it. You're creating this sensation. And breathing in for just a moment, and breathing out, allowing this relaxation to double again throughout your entire body. Going deeper and deeper into this wonderful state of relaxation, deeper, deeply, that's it, all the way, all the way. So in that five, your body relaxes, four, your mind is letting go, three, feeling emotionally calm, two, one, zero, deep sleep. And each and every time I suggest the words deep sleep to you, for the purpose of hypnosis, you'll enter quickly, calmly, and deeply, and your physical body will relax. And now, I want you to visualize or imagine that you're standing on top of a beautiful staircase that's welded with sturdy and smooth handrails, that has 20 steps leading down to the bottom landing. You have a sense of knowing that with each step down, it will deepen your state of hypnosis, and you'll become more deeply relaxed, and you have the ability to let go. And so, with your left foot, step down at 19, and your right foot at 18, twice as deep at 17, 16, feeling yourself deeply relaxed at 15, 14, 13, twice as deep at 12, 11, 10, letting go at 9, 8, twice as deep at 7, 6, 5, deeper still at 4, 3, 2, 1, zero, deep sleep. And each and every time I suggest the words deep sleep to you, for the purpose of hypnosis, with your permission, you'll enter very quickly and calmly, and your physical body will relax. And now, as you're at the bottom of the staircase, you will see in front of you is a hallway, and at the end of which is a door of forgiveness. However, before you can reach that door of forgiveness, there may be other doors that you may need to pass through. Look at either side of the hallway, and if you see any doors, go up to the door that you wish to go to first. I wonder, have you ever seen this door before? Would you be open to opening this door, as I stand there in the hallway with you? And if you see any other doors, go ahead and open them. And as you look inside the door, knowing that you can walk in, go ahead and walk in. Now, use any symbols, or even a flashlight, so you can look around and experience all that you need to experience while you're in this door. You might use a light, you might have a feeling or a sense while you are in these rooms. And when you're done with this room, you may go to any other rooms that you feel that you also have to go through. And now, we're at the door of forgiveness. And as I open this door, walk to the middle of this place, while I remain inside the closed door. And if you wish, you know that you can experience everything that's happening inside of this door of forgiveness, forgiving not only yourself, but also others. Fully engulf yourself in this feeling of forgiveness, because you know that there's no value in beating yourself up for past mistakes. Continue to let go of any resentments, because resentments are nothing more than a big, big waste of time and energy. Your past is your asset, and your history is your strength. You're going to be giving yourself all this forgiveness, and you're going to take all the wisdom you gained and bring it forward with you. The future is based on the present, and the present is good. You know, it's been said that the past is history, the future is a mystery, and every moment we live in is a gift, which is why it's called the present. And now, when you stay in the present, you give yourself this gift, because you acknowledge yourself in the present. You separate yourself from the prison of past conditioning, and you give yourself the gift of creating new responses in your life, which puts into motion the mechanics, the intelligence for the fulfillment of your intentions and desires. There's a deep, universal healing spirit within you, and in the world, you can draw upon this healing, and for relief from all and any negative emotions, you must let yourself come closer to this essential meaning, this meaning that forgiveness and love are parts of this universal healing spirit that releases the inner tension. Free your body and your spirit from the pain and hurt. Let those thoughts focus on your feelings of forgiveness and love, forgiving yourself, forgiving others, releasing the stress within yourself that generates tension about negative emotions. And as the spirit of forgiveness grows inside of you while you're in this room, these tensions are released, open up the healing forces in your life, permitting you to connect with the love of self and the love of others. And as you open up this healing love, the awareness of the negative emotion becomes distant, moving further and further away, diminishing the importance and inconsequence. And as this healing love flows through you, you can come out of the room. Inhale deeply, and exhale slowly, let all the tensions leave that body of yours with each breath. Imagine yourself in a peaceful place now, a place of tranquility and serenity. You're surrounded by this gentle, calming light that radiates in comfort and warmth. You are now safe in this moment. There's nothing to worry about, the past is behind you, and the future will unfold as it should. You are here, right now, and that's all that matters. You have the power to release the burden of overthinking, to let go of those thoughts that hold you back. Imagine those thoughts as balloons, each one representing a worry or a past mistake. Imagine yourself releasing these balloons into the sky, one by one. And as they float away, feel a sense of relief and freedom. You no longer need to hold on to these thoughts, these regrets. You understand that making mistakes is part of being human. Mistakes are lessons, opportunities to grow and learn. Embrace the wisdom that comes from your past experiences. Now let's focus on this forgiveness. Imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror, looking into your own eyes, and as you gaze into your reflection, repeat after me, I forgive myself for any past mistakes. I'm only human, and I accept my imperfections. I release any self-judgment or guilt that I've been carrying. Feel a gentle wave of self-compassion wash over you. You are deserving of this forgiveness. You are worthy of love and kindness, especially from yourself. From this moment forward, you choose to live in the present. You will no longer let the past dictate your thoughts or actions. You trust yourself to handle whatever comes your way, knowing that you have the strength and the resilience to face any challenge. You are free from the chains of overthinking and rumination. Your mind is clear and at peace. You embrace each day with a sense of lightness, living fully in the present moment. Now it's time to come back out, the state of hypnosis, feeling very calm and relaxed now. I will reverse the count from zero to five, and with each count, you begin to feel more and more alert and awake with a positive sense of well-being. When I reach five, you'll open your eyes, feeling refreshed, relaxed, and at ease. You will carry this sense of calm and self-forgiveness with you as you go about your day. One at zero, always being able to go deeper now. One, let's shut that door to the subconscious mind, blocking out all negatives. Two, slowly coming up out of the hypnosis now. Three, physically aware and mentally alert. Four, coming up even higher now. Five, eyes open, wide awake. One, two, three, four, five, eyes opening, wide awake.
