Defining it is not easy. Technology has always changed art. Think about the printing press and Don Quixote, or photography and painting. The podcast is a vaguely identified cultural object. It is a new digital creature that draws inspiration from audiobooks and radio, and has a rich tradition with variations, like radio theater. No es fácil definirlo. La tecnología siempre ha cambiado el arte. Pensemos en la imprenta y el Quijote, o en la fotografía y en la pintura. El podcast es un objeto cultural vagamente identificado. Creo que es una criatura digital nueva, pero que se nutre del audiolibro y de la radio, y en su rica tradición con variantes, como el radioteatro.
