During Week 2, you will have a home study week for your CDL. This week involves book work and a final 335-question test, which is required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. You need to manage your own schedule and allocate time to read a 400-page book and complete the test. It is crucial to be prepared for this week by picking up the book and test on Monday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the designated yard. Plan your study time carefully to finish reading the entire book and completing the test. Week 2 is your home study week. The second week is book work, which completes the 40 hours of written work required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for your CDL. It's no less difficult, and this week you're going to have to manage your own schedule. This week you're going to read a 400-page book and take a 335-question test, your final test that is one requirement for you to sit for your CDL. So, super important. In order to get ready for this week, your home study week, 1. On Monday of Week 2, go to the yard you're scheduled for between 830 a.m. and 430 p.m. and pick up your book and your test. We do not mail these out. 2. Plan your study time for this week to ensure you read the entire book and complete that test.
