I am your host Miss Alina Matthew and today I am going to share one of the most chilling case I have ever worked on. The story of love, betrayal and murder. So let's dive into mystery of Kara West's death on her wedding day. It was a perfect wedding day. The sun was shining, the guests were smiling. Carol was in her mesmerizing wedding gown, standing at the altar with her groom, George Smith. But before she could say, I do, she collapsed, dead. It was all beginning when Carol's sister, Emma West, called me. She was devastated, unable to accept that her sister is dead. In an interrogation with Emma, she said, Carol and I were so close, Miss Matthews. We shared everything except what happened last night. She had a conflict with George. She was in tears, but wouldn't tell me why. Emma described her relationship with Carol as a close, almost like best friend. They shared everything, but with the exception of arguments Carol had with George. My investigation began with the champagne, which was poisoned. A lethal dose of that poison was enough to kill an individual instantly. I needed to find out how the poison got into the champagne, and more importantly, who put it there. You should know, Detective, one of the bridesmaids, Sophia Green, is George's ex-girlfriend. They had a complicated history. Emma mentioned another important detail. One of the bridesmaids, Sophia Green, was George's ex-girlfriend. An interesting twist. Could jealousy have caused this? During an interrogation of Jake, I asked, Jake, Emma tells me you and Carol argued the night before the wedding. Can you tell me what it was about? George answered, It was just pre-wedding stress. I loved her. I would never hurt her. George admitted to the argument but claimed it was over wedding stress. However, his nervous face and avoidance of eye contact told a different story. George told he loved Carol and won't harm her. Still, something felt off. Then I questioned Sophia. How did you feel about Carol and George's relationship? And she answered, I was happy for them. Jake and I were history. I've moved on long while ago. To be honest, I wouldn't even care a bit if I heard that he died. She said she was happy for Carol and George and she moved on. But some guests suggested that she was trying to get back with George. A bag buried near a tree was found. In that bag contained a poison that might kill Carol. Alongside, there was an expensive bracelet that everyone claimed did not belong to them. The investigation took time when I found out that the catering company had received a last minute change request for the champagne delivery. The request came from unknown number and said to deliver the champagne earlier. My prime suspects were George and Sophia. Jake had the motive of argument and Sophia had the motive of jealousy. However, Sophia was more likely to poison champagne. But then a new piece of evidence emerged. There was Lucy and another bridesmaid of Carol. She said, I saw George and Sophia whispering during the reception. They seemed to be in deep conversation and Sophia handed something to George in a small bag. I couldn't hear anything that they were saying, but they looked very serious but happy at the same time. Could that bag contain poison? This evidence by Lucy led to the probability that they both have conspired together. Just as I was putting all events together, I received a call that changed everything. The lab results on that poison bag were in. Surprisingly, they found fingerprints of a familiar face that I have never expected. And that's where we'll leave you today listeners. Who is the mysterious figure? Was Sophia and George really involved in this? Who is that unexpected familiar face? To get answer to this question, join our upcoming episode. Thank you. This is Alina Matthew signing off.
