The author of Hebrews is warning Jewish Christians about the dangers of apostasy, which is a total desertion of their faith in Jesus Christ. The author emphasizes the seriousness of this decision and warns of the consequences that come with turning away from God. The dangers discussed include neglecting salvation, doubting God's promises, missing out on spiritual rest, and remaining spiritually immature. The author urges believers to trust in God, hold onto their faith, and strive for maturity in their relationship with Christ. Chapter 10. Hebrews chapter 10. If you are keeping up, we only have about three more chapters in Hebrews, and so we have just been very briefly this summer skimming through Hebrews and looking at the dangers that we can fall into as Christians, and some warnings that the author of Hebrews is giving those Jewish Christians that were wanting to forsake Jesus Christ and head back under Judaism and the law. And as we have been looking at that and studying that, tonight we actually come to the fourth danger, and that is the danger of apostasy. How many of you have ever heard the word apostasy? We have a few. How many of you know what apostasy means? False? That's how I was. I've used the word apostasy a lot in my life, and a couple of years ago, I actually sat down and looked up the definition of it, and apostasy is a total desertion or a departure from one's religion, principles, parties, cause, or so forth. And so that's what the ultimate problem was that the author of Hebrews was writing to them about was this desertion. They had come to Jesus Christ, and they knew Jesus Christ, but now all of a sudden, because things are maybe not panning out the way that they wanted to or the way that they thought that they would, all of a sudden now they are wanting to totally forsake Jesus Christ and go back under the old conditions and everything that they were. Now, when I read that, and especially on the short term of things, I think how in the world could anybody that has known Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and has been following Him, how in the world could anybody get to a point in their life to where they want to turn their back on Jesus Christ and go totally back to what they're doing? But guess what? It is a real thing, and we see a lot of it happening today. I had a preacher brother on Facebook today ask for comments, and he had written up this letter that said we have not done anything with our church role in 50 years. And they made the statement that their attendance now from their membership to what's actually attending their church is actually one-third of what they have on their membership role. And so they're just wanting to send out letters and find out. After I'd been here about three or four years, I did that. I tried to get everyone that I knew that was on our church membership. I just sent them a letter. Hey, I'm the pastor of Kentucky Missionary Baptist Church. We saw that you're a member. I have not seen you or met you, and I've been here for a few years. And so how can I minister to you? How can I pray for you or what? We actually had a couple of people that actually came and have been coming to Kentucky because of that letter, just reaching out, you know. But unfortunately, the reality of it is that there's a lot of churches that have a lot less attendance than what they have on their membership. And a lot of churches are struggling with that. I think our membership is actually probably around 400. We run close to 100, so we're about 25 percent, a fourth, of what is our membership. And so this total desertion and departure that is there. And so we come to Hebrews 10 in verse 26. And notice what the author says. For if we sin willfully, after that we have received the knowledge of truth, there remaineth no sacrifice for sins. But a certain fearful looking for a judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses. Of how much sore punishment, suppose you, shall he be felt worthy who hath trodden underfoot the Son of God and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing and hath done despise under the Spirit of grace. For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again the Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God. But call to remembrance the former days in which after you were illuminated you endured a great fight of afflictions. Partly whilst you were made a gazing-stock, both by reproaches and afflictions, and partly whilst you become companions of them that were so huge. For you had compassion on me and my bonds and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that you have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath greater recompense of reward. For you have need of patience, that after you have done the will of God you might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come and will not carry. Now the just shall live by faith, but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Now how in the world did we get to this position? When we look at everything that we have been studying, if you notice there has been a sequence to what happens, these dangers, that when we begin these dangers, this is where the outcome will come happen. This is where the end result will come. The first danger we saw was the neglecting our salvation. In other words, if we put off our salvation and say no to God, then guess what? There's no way that we can ever come to God or serve God or get forgiveness with God because we have already rejected his sacrifice. There's also those of us that have been saved. However, we are always fighting and doubting our salvation and questioning our salvation. And guess what? That does absolutely no good to our Christian walk and our life with Jesus Christ either. And so we have to have the problem, the danger of neglecting our salvation. The second danger that we saw was the danger of unbelief. If you question your salvation, you're going to start questioning God because questioning your salvation is questioning God because God said, For by grace are you saved through faith, that God of yourselves is as a gift of God. I could give you a thousand verses out of the word of God that shows how you are saved by faith, through grace, but it doesn't get any simpler or plainer than that verse right there. It is a gift. All of us understand a gift. There is a difference between wages and gifts. And what you have earned is debt. And that's what you have worked for. You have given your time, you have put in your time, you have put in your time, so God himself says you are worthy of debt. But, that's what he gave you. He gave you a gift, something that you don't deserve. And he said here, you deserve it. It's pretty simple. It's by grace. It's a gift that we get. But then what happens when we neglect our salvation? We begin to doubt God. And we question God and we argue with God. And I get tired and I've been guilty of it myself. But the older I get, the more I've grown and matured, I guess, the more it stands out because I've even done it. But I get upset when people argue with the word of God or try to water down the word of God or make statements like, well, this was written 2,000 years ago to these people during this time. No, the word of God is written to all of us. It is living and it is just as applicable today as it was when it was written. If God had something that was personal for only an individual, then he would have probably written it to that individual. But he has written it and he gave us this. And so we need to live by it and serve by it. And so we just need to trust God. We need to believe God that he's going to do what he says. The third danger that we found that kind of falls under this category of unbelief is the danger of having unbelief is that we miss our rest. We're talking about a spiritual rest. In other words, it's not about me working or me doing. It goes on in Ephesians 2, verse 10, and it says, We are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works. We don't have to work or do anything. It's not laborsome for us. I heard a guy again the other day, and I've heard it several times, that when you say that some people have a job that they love, that they really like it, and they say, when you have a job that you love and you love doing, you never work a day in your life, right? That's rest. Yes, you still work. Yes, you still labor. Yes, you still toil. But guess what? It's not that it's laborsome. It's not that you happen to do it. It's that you get to do it. You enjoy it. And so, man, if we still don't trust God, then we miss our rest, just like we saw Moses miss the promised land because, why? Unbelief and disobedience to God. And so then the fourth thing that we saw last week is, when we don't start believing God and we miss our rest, the fourth danger was the danger of immaturity. We don't grow. We don't get mature. We don't come into the image and knowledge of Jesus Christ. And so, all of a sudden, we're babes. And the author here of Hebrews said, man, when you have a couple of angels, and he said, man, I really want to tell you about this order of Melchizedek, because Melchizedek was way before Moses. He was in the time of Abraham, and yet he was a priest, and Abraham gave him 10% of everything that he had. And so that's what I want to know about, right? I understand the Levitical priest. I understand Aaron and his sons, and I understand, well, I don't know if I understand it all. I read it all all the time. But the people had to come and give a percentage of everything that they had to the priest, and the priest could eat certain things. They could ask certain things. Certain things they were supposed to disrupt. While the priest guided what they did. What I don't understand is why in the world, before the priest was ever done through Moses, why in the world was there Melchizedek, and they didn't have to give him 10% of it? And the author of Hebrews said, guess what? There's too many Jews for me to talk to you about that right now. He wouldn't understand. And so because of that, that's what brought us to this area. And if you go on and you read chapter 6, 7, and 8, what you'll find out is that the author then begins to deal in depth with this unchangeable priesthood that is actually the order of Melchizedek. But here's where he comes to his conclusion and what he is saying. That Christ is better than Melchizedek, and Christ is also better than the priesthood after Aaron and the Levites. And so Christ is superior to both of these. And a matter of fact, he tells us, for some reason the scripture didn't go there, but he says in verse 39, but we are not of them who draw back unto perdition, but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. And so notice what he says. That's here in chapter 10, verse 39. We are not of them who draw back unto perdition, but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. And so here this drawing back, what got them here? He goes back, and I just want to mention a few things because we only have three weeks left, and so I've actually got one danger and three, and I'm going to have to figure out how to combine two, three things that we, how do we keep from doing this? How do we build ourselves to where we don't neglect our salvation? We don't have unbelief. We don't miss our rest. We don't become immature. We don't fall out. What do we have to do to do that? And so we're out of time, but I just want to briefly hit it and highlight a few verses, and hopefully you'll go back and read what we have not covered in chapter 7, 8, 9, and the first part of chapter 10. But in chapter 8 and verse 1, he says, Now of these things which we have spoken, this is the sum. And so here after the order of Melchizedek, the priesthood, the priesthood of the Levites, he said, Here is the summation of all of this that I was telling you. We have a high priest who is set on the right hand of the throne of the majesty in the heavens. In other words, he's referring us and pointing us to Jesus Christ. That is our high priest now. That is our mediator between us and God. Verse 6 of chapter 8 says, But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry. He doesn't have the same ministry that Melchizedek has. He doesn't even have the same ministry as the priesthood had in the Old Testament. He has a more excellent ministry. By how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant. And so what I want you to see is he did not come to do away with the old covenant. He came to give us a better covenant. In other words, and especially when you get into prophecy and you get into certain studies of the Bible, you have to keep Israel and the Old Covenant separated from the New Covenant and the church. They're two separate things. He didn't come and do away with the Old Covenant and do a new. Now, Jews can be saved, right? When they're saved, are they under the Old Covenant or are they under the New Covenant? They fall under the New Covenant and Jesus Christ. All of the book of Acts, reading. That's what was happening. Especially the first nine chapters. What were they doing? They were going to the Jews and the Jews were being saved. And finally the argument overflows in Acts chapter 15 when all of a sudden those from Jerusalem come to Paul and say, Guess what, Paul? We understand these Jews and stuff are being saved. We also understand you're now saving Gentiles, but we also need to be circumcised. And Paul immediately did not even contend with them. He went straight to Jerusalem. He said, Are you the apostle Peter? Are you agreeing with these guys that Gentiles have to be circumcised? That's the Old Covenant, not the New Covenant. And so they get into this argument and stuff. And so that's what he's saying here in this better covenant. Notice what he says. Was established upon better promises. What were the main promises of the covenant? That Abraham would have a multitude of children, right? As the stars of the sky and the sands of the sea. That they would inherit a land, right? These were the promises. Under the New Covenant, what do we have promised? Not only a physical land. Not only a physical Savior. Not only physical offspring. But guess what? It takes it to a whole other level because now it becomes spiritual. And we're not only given a... Everything physical has a limited amount of time. Now when we move into the spiritual realm, guess what? We have all of an eternity. And so not only are we having physical offspring, but guess what? We're also having spiritual offspring. That are going to be our children and grandchildren in heaven for all of an eternity. When I die, basically I'm no longer my children's parents or their grandparents. Because I'm dead. I'm a memory of what was there. But I'm no longer here to physically interact and be with them. But spiritually, guess what? We'll be able to for all of an eternity. Now look at what he says in verse 10. With this better covenant and better promises. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel. After those days, sayeth the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind. And write them in their hearts. I will be to them a God and they shall be to me a people. Where did Israel get their laws? And what they were supposed to do for God? In the Old Testament in the first five books, right? Mainly Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers. Right? That's what they looked to. This is what God told them they had to do. What they didn't have to do. But guess what? He says, Israel, once you are saved and you come under the new covenant, guess what? Now I am going to write my laws on your heart. You don't have to go look it up. You don't have to be there. Because now they are going to be in your heart. And so you are going to now, I will be your God and you will be my people. They don't have to run to the priest anymore. They don't have to go make a sacrifice anymore. Now immediately when God convinced them of something that they need to change, repent of, or do, guess what? Immediately they can do it. They don't have to wait until the priests are there and ready to receive their sacrifice and their offering. So you see how much better this is? And how much better we have it under Jesus Christ? Then look at verse 13 of chapter 8. In that he saith, a new covenant, he hath made the first old, now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to what? Vanish away. Does it go away? No. The same exact way that I will never not be my kids, parents, or grandparents. But guess what? Eventually after my death, it's less and less that I won't be able to interact with them no more. You know what's going to happen? Unfortunately, their numbers are going to get less and less as time goes on. Right? They're not going to remember me. Unfortunately, you know, a lot of things about my grandparents now, with that being without my mom's parents, a lot of things I don't remember like I used to because time makes it fade. Well, guess what? Once we come to the new covenant, the old covenant is not forgotten. What was the purpose of the law? The purpose of the law was to be our school teacher, right? To teach us about sin. That never goes away. Just like you and I, we never stop learning, right? And there's times that guess what? Even though I've taken English and math and composition and these different things, occasionally I still have to go back to a teacher or the book and look, how do I do this? Or refresh my memory, right? And so the law has not been done away with, but the more I live for Jesus Christ, the more I follow Jesus Christ and put my faith in Jesus Christ, the less I'm going to need that teacher. The more I use it, the better I'm going to get at using it. I'm not going to think a lot when I'm a sinner because guess what? The closer I get to Jesus Christ is going to reveal what's in my heart. And so that's what he's saying in Chapter 8. He's telling us about this better covenant. It's the same, but the closer we get to Jesus Christ, the less we need the law and text of Christ. Even in the Old Testament, David understood this and was talking, thinking, wouldn't the empire commit adultery with that evil? What's he saying? Sacrifice is not what came to pass. Otherwise, I would sacrifice every animal that I see to make it into my kingdom. But he says, you desire a broken and a contorted spirit. That's what you desire. And so even in the Old Testament, they understood that it wasn't about the law and the sacrifices. It was about a relationship with God. God said, if you will let me use up that hope in your heart, and I will bless you. He said, I'm going to be upset with what you are doing. And so that's what he's showing us is how Jesus Christ in this new covenant is so much better. Now remember, he is writing to Jews that have accepted Jesus Christ, but are willing to go back under that old system. Then he comes to chapter 9, and he says in verse 22, and almost all things, almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission. It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these things. What are the patterns, Sister Orleigh? Huh? Do you put the pattern on and wear it Easter Sunday? No, you'd look ridiculous wearing the pattern, wouldn't you? The pattern is just the example that you use to make the dress. The pattern is what you use to make whatever you're making from. And so he said it was therefore necessary that the patterns, the old covenant, the things of the law that are in heaven should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. In other words, these blood of these animals and stuff, guess what they had to do every single day of every single month of every single year? They constantly had to make sacrifices. The pattern was there, but the pattern was not sufficient. They had to continue to keep using it. That was there. And look at verse 24. For Christ is not entered into the holy place made with hands, which are the figures of the truth, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us. So Christ now is our high priest. We don't have to go to Jerusalem. We don't have to go to the temple. We don't have to go to the tabernacle. We don't have to go make sacrifice because Jesus Christ has now made the sacrifice, and he is in heaven for us. He is in the presence of God for us. Nor yet that he should offer himself often as the high priest enters into the holy place every year with the blood of others, the high priest every year had to do what? He had to cleanse himself and go through all of this bathing and washing and changing clothes. He would go and sacrifice an animal for himself. He would go bathe and just, and then he would go and he would offer a sacrifice for the people. And he did that every single year. But guess what? Christ only had to offer his blood one time, and one time only, and it was sufficient. That's what he's saying. Verse 26. For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world, but now, once in the end of the world, hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And so Christ's blood is sufficient for all of our sins. He's done it once, and it is good for everybody. When I accepted the blood of Jesus Christ, it forgave me of all of my past sins, my present sins, and my future sins. It was good enough. It was sufficient enough. And look what he said in verse 27. And as it is appointed unto man once to die, but after that to judgment. Remember, the wages of sin is death. And so we're all going to die. It's appointed unto man once to die. But after that death, guess what? We are going to stand before God and praise God that he allowed his son to die in my place, to shed his blood, accepted his sacrifice, so that Jesus Christ is going to be right there when I step into heaven to stand as my mediator before me and the Holy Ghost. His blood is going to cover me. So look at verse 28. So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many, and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Because I have trusted in Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, I will never stand before him for my sins. When I say him, it's for salvation. It's for eternity. It's not because of my sins. And so understand, Christ has already bared our sins. That's already been taken care of. And so he finishes up there, and he goes to chapter 6. What shall we say then? He asks a question. Romans chapter 6. They're not Hebrews. In Romans chapter 6, Paul said this. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? And that's the argument that we hear all the time, especially as Baptist people, right? You Baptists believe that you can sin and do whatever you want to do, and you still get your way. Right? I do believe that. However, that's not the final answer. And we're going to see that tonight. And that's why we have to understand we can't just jump into this apostasy without understanding where the author is taking us and taking these Jews. Paul said, when they asked the question, shall we continue in sin that grace may abound, Paul said, God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein? And so how are we going to continue? You can't do that. You can't just have God pouring out grace. There is a responsibility that we have. There is a sanctification that takes place in God. And so notice that he's talking here about deliberate sin. Deliberate sin. You and I are going to sin. None of us are perfect. We still live in the flesh, right? So should I just go ahead and throw in the towel and just let my flesh run wild? Absolutely not. What did Paul say? Paul said he was going to be pushed out of the flesh. He was to die in the flesh. To do what? Live in the spirit. He's not going to live in sin. Where is the next step? For what? He's going to live in the spirit. Live in the spirit. Live in the spirit. We've seen it all through Paul. And so what is the author talking about here? He's talking about a deliberate sin. Now can you deliberately sin as a Christian? Yeah, I do it, right? And even to throw another kink into this, Paul said to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him that is sin. And I struggle with that one sometimes. And the reason that I struggle with that sometimes is because I will never be judged for my sin. When I meet Jesus Christ, I am meeting him for salvation. But I am sinning in the name of Jesus Christ, for all of my works are going to be laid in my name, and the blood of my Father and the blood of my Son. And so that connection is fixing to be made here by the author. Look at what he says in verse 27. He spends all of chapter 10, then, talking about holding fast to faith. Trust in God. We may not in this lifetime see all of the fruits of the promise. People have spent all these chapters of their lives, meaning that all these innocent people who fought, some of them were they perfect? Absolutely not. Everyone of us has sinned in the name of God. Everyone of us has sinned in the name of God. But everyone of us has faith. And it's a wonderful thing to know that we have sinned in the name of God. And he's going to show us that in verse 11. But before he can get to that, he's got to explain to us Christians, for if we sin, we'll fall. After that we have received the knowledge of truth, there remaineth no sacrifice for sin. There is no sacrifice, any place, anywhere, that can take away your sins if you continue to sin. Is that what it says? If we sin willfully, after that we have received the knowledge of truth, there remaineth no sacrifice for sin. If we sin willfully, is there a sacrifice for sin? The author says no. So let's look into this. Let's see what exactly, first thing we need to understand, if there is no sacrifice for sin, and yet what have we done? In order to be saved, we had to receive the sacrifice of Christ for sin, right? Who he offered once. And he said he never has to offer it again, right? And we can give him salvation. But within the context of chapter 7, 8, 9, and 10, it's holding fast to faith, believing God and trusting God. But now he says, if we sin willfully, there is not a sacrifice for sin. So the question is, is we need to understand what is willful sin. What is willful sin? Willful sin is choosing to live a life of sin instead of living a life of godliness. It is a choice. Remember what Joshua said to the people? We're going through Joshua right now on Sunday morning, kind of. What did Joshua say at the end of it? We haven't got there yet, but he said, Choose you this day whom you will serve. Where are they at? Every one of them is in the promised land. Every one of them has now had all this victory. Everything is there. All they are to do now is to build their houses, settle in. Their clans have been divided. But what? There's still some Amorites that they haven't dealt with. And he said, Choose you this day whom you will serve. The God of them or God Almighty? See, it comes down to a choice. What do you want to do? And so willful sin is making a choice. When you choose to live for the world instead of living for Jesus Christ, it's continuing to go on and on in a life of sin and never repent or turn to God. Now, remember we saw last week that falling away is impossible. You cannot lose your salvation. Amen? There's absolutely no way. So we believe in security of the believer. However, it does say here, if we willfully sin, and notice the phrase there, after that we receive the knowledge of truth. What is the knowledge of truth that we have received? The gospel of Jesus Christ. That I am a sinner, but Christ came and died for my sins. He was buried and rose again on the third day. He just spent four chapters telling us that Christ, by His blood, He has repented all of our sins. But if we will, if we've been saved, we have received this truth. We have received Jesus Christ. Sinning. God said, what kind of sacrifice can I make for you? What kind of forgiveness can I offer you if you are willfully judged? So, sinning. And so that's what He's saying here. Now, look at what He says in verse 27. He says, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries. You jump down to verse 30 and it says, For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, the Lord shall judge who? His people. His people. And this meaning seems to be from the point of continuing in willful sin to the point of either repenting or God bringing you home. In other words, it is a choice of a lifestyle apart from God. When we neglect our salvation, when we don't trust God, when we remain immature and don't grow up, then what the next lot we do is, is that we get so far away from God that we forget that we were ever a part of God and we abandoned God completely. And we're going to see it over and over in the life of Israel. Israel with what? God finally gives them all of Joshua and all of the promises of Joshua. And then what we do is very interesting. And here it is. Joshua was no longer around. Everyone else was just right out there all by themselves. Which was wrong and was wise. And what happened? God was bringing something that he should have done against them. And then all of a sudden, they didn't believe him. Praise God, they were in it, right? They were in it, but they were not the Lord. They were just so much. And he didn't have to undo this. And then all of a sudden, he gets a portion of the world. And what? And then he gives them all an opportunity to do all of this. And what do you think of that? That's what you've seen with Joseph and David. You've seen it. You've heard it. Samuel says it. You don't get it. Finally, they lose the entire kingdom. And we know that it will not be restored until the millennial reign. And so, notice what's happening. And so, this is a continual and willful sin to the point of repentance or being taken home. And what the author is telling us is there is no sacrifice for able to be able to forgive these sins. There is no animal sacrifice. Not even the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that can atone for sins that you are willfully committing over and over and over without repentance. This is a scary passage of Scripture. This is a passage of Scripture that we definitely need today. As a matter of fact, the psalmist said in Psalm 66, verse 18, If I regard iniquity in the heart, the Lord will not hear me. How in the world can we look at God, that gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever will believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, and continue to live however we want to, and look at Him and ask Him to continue to bless me. Throughout His repentance, His forbearance, His forgiveness, He continues to live however He wants to. How does it work out for Israel? And how do you think it's going to work out for us as Christians? Look at what he says. Because here's the key. In 1 John chapter 1 verse 9, you can go back and read it starting in verse 6 all the way to verse 10. Verse 9 is the key to this whole passage. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Now it says there, Donnie, you're not perfect. You're not perfect. You're still a mess up. But here's what He expects of us as believers. Not to sin so that grace can be availed. We've got all the grace that we want to get. But what it has caused us to do is to repent and say, I'm sorry. I'll try to do better next time. But when we will choose to sin and to deem that sin, what sacrifice is there for someone who has committed that sin? Because why? You cannot be saved unless you do what? Admit that you are sinner and cry out to the Holy Spirit. If God has knowledge, heaven says, that even the devil believes. Satan believes and he trembles. But he is not saved nor will he ever be saved because of Christ. And he knows that he is a Christ. He knows Christ is the Son of God. He knows Christ is seated at the throne of God. Because He already did His work. He knows that He committed it. The problem is that He will not repent. He will not repent. And therefore, guess what? His damnation has already been declared. And so look at what he says here. This willful sin breaks the Christian's fellowship with God and it totally renders our service ineffective. And if we continue on and on in willful sin, then we will suffer a great and fearful loss. Where? At the judgment seat of Christ. You're not going to lose your salvation. But it's not going to be a pleasant thing when you stand at the judgment seat of Christ. This is why I am free from tribulation. Another reason that I'm free from tribulation. Because before we can come back and repent of Christ, before we can live in peace, there has to be a judgment seat of Christ. There has to be a judgment seat of Christ. And the only place that you can put it is while the city claims to come to Jesus, to be with Jesus Christ before they come back to their home. And then you're going to have to see that there's not going to be another time to do all these things. Because the problem is that all these people are going to be sitting at the judgment seat of Jesus Christ at the judgment seat according to the Word of God. And so we're going to be judged. And what's going to happen? What's going to happen? He says, all of our works that are done in the flesh, everything that we have done in the Spirit, for God has followed Him and been obedient to Him and precious stones. What were they to do when they destroyed Jericho? Destroy everything. And God will give you four words just to put it in your head. What does that mean? Pardon me? You're going to have to execute a quest for you to see the truth of God. And see, that's what's important. If you're going to stand at the judgment seat of Christ, you're not going to lose your salvation, but you're going to be at the judgment seat of Christ. It's not. And this is another one of the people we don't have in our healing to focus on to fix our theology. You know, we have a theology that we don't have in our healing. If we say, look, it's the glory of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and those men and children that we do see, but that's not until after the millennium, that we're going to be able to say, I knew that, and it's in the Word. Jesus Christ said, after the judgment has taken place, before the marriage thing does, Jesus Christ himself said, There are going to be people that are going to say, I'm going to be a part of the bride, but give me a signature. But they're not going to be elected, because he's going to win. They're not going to be elected as part of the bride, because of their felonies, because of their sin. He has no excuse for that. He said, Jesus Christ, after his four or five bodies, he cried with his disciples, He is, he is, he feels he's sort of a physical enemy, that he's just sort of in what world, he's just sitting there, and nothing comes of the latter outcome. People that have the knowledge of truth, that have been saved, maybe back there somewhere in Bible school, maybe somewhere back there, but what have they done? They have made the willful decision in their life that guess what? I love the world more than I love Jesus Christ. And eventually what's going to happen is either God is going to take them out of this world, and if He don't do that, and if He don't do that, then when they stand at the judgment seat of Christ, guess what?
