The speaker believes that all scripture is inspired by God and should be taken literally. They emphasize the importance of defending the biblical view of creation as scientifically accurate. They express concern over teenagers leaving their faith due to a lack of answers regarding creation. They discuss two worldviews: naturalism/humanism, which supports evolution, and creationism, which sees an intelligent designer behind the universe. They argue against the theory of evolution and claim that it is a lie. They criticize the changing definition of science to exclude supernatural explanations. They mention instances of schools being sued for teaching creationism and a teacher prohibiting discussion of the supernatural in a biology class. Here's where I'm coming from, I believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and is brought forth for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction and practice. I believe the Bible is literally true, it means exactly what it says. I found when I was first starting to study the Bible that I kept trying to wonder what the Bible was trying to say and I just wasn't looking at what it was actually saying. It means what it says. 1 Peter 3.15 says that we should be ready to give an answer to every man that asks us for the reason of hope that's in us. That word answer comes from a Greek word apologia. You probably recognize a word that comes from that as apologetics. Apologetics means defense, defense of the faith. Apologia means defense, means to defend. Defending the biblical view of creation is literally true and scientifically accurate. I really struggled with the scientific part when I was saved at 55 because I had 55 years of believing the earth was billions of years old and somehow or another we evolved. And so I had trouble scientifically trying to fit the Bible into this world. Go back and read this again. We're to give a defense for what we believe. Defending what we believe. So apologetics has to do with what? Defense. If you had a grandson, you'd put him in there somewhere too, wouldn't you? Defense. The Bible is the history book of the universe. It's the history book from the first day in the beginning to the very end in Revelation. It should be our thinking in every realm of our life. That's what it's for. After all, the Bible is basic instructions before leaving earth. So it might be to our advantage to look into it and see what it says and see what we're supposed to be doing. There's something disturbing going on. There seems to be an alarming trend in America. Recent surveys tell us that teenagers are leaving their faith at alarming rates. It seems there's a common thread that runs through this trend. It seems that no one can answer their questions about creation. I believe that because I had trouble finding answers. They're out there, but you have to hunt for them. There's so-called scientific evidence for evolution that we are told it's scientific fact. I found out it's scientific lies. It's a lie from the devil. That's all it is. He's a liar. This process of evolution does not require a divine creator to explain our existence. It's purely a natural, random process that depends entirely on our chance. Notice the common thread. Some stuff was just too far-fetched to believe. I think scientifically there is no proof. That is a problem. There's three things I want to try to do tonight or in this seminar if we go further. I want to strengthen your faith in the Word of God. And if you're saved, if you're not saved, I want to try to convert you. And if you're saved but not doing much for the Lord, I want to make you as uncomfortable as I can. Okay. Now there's two ways to look at this world. Two worldviews. We'll call them worldviews. One is that, wow, what an amazing big, look what a big bang made from nothing. It's called a naturalism or humanism. It's supported by the theory of evolution. That's one worldview. God is, man is God in this worldview. And he answers to no one. That leads to things like this. Now I know you can't read that, but I'll tell you what you need to know about it. This was a sign posted at the Little Rock Zoo in 2009 on a cage, an empty cage, right next to a orangutan. This says, human beings, homo sapiens sapiens, wise, wise humans. The cage was empty, but the sign was there. And here's what this leads to. This sign said, one of the paragraphs, as are other great ape species, as in the case with many other primates, and then the last paragraph down there, Humans are a morally aggressive species and are simply destroying the habitats of all other animal species on earth. What is that doing at our zoo? That was there on Zoo Day. It's a free day. There were over 10,000 people came through the zoo on that day. What is that doing at our zoo? Aren't they just supposed to be showing us to animals? What kind of message is that sending to our kids? What are they going to take away from that? Heaven only knows. Now there's another worldview. We look at this world and we say, man, there's an incredible design. There must have been a smart designer. It's based on God as the creator. It's called a creationist worldview. God is God and he judges all men. Now Wayne Dyer on AETN said this. Think about this for just a minute. The way you look at things will determine how things look. And when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Now I believe that because I know how I looked at things before I was saved. I know how I looked at this world. Now I have a different worldview. The things that I look at are different. The same things, but they're different now than they used to be. Depending on your worldview, when you look at this universe, you'll see something that just exploded from nothing and randomly scattered everywhere. Or you see an orderly creation by God. Look at fossils. Is that life from 20 million years ago? Or is that evidence of Noah's flood? Different viewpoint. Dinosaurs. Did they live long before man ever came on this earth? According to the Bible, they were created on day six with Adam. He even named them. So man and dinosaurs lived together. Different worldview. Same evidence depending on your worldview. Killer creatures depending on your worldview. In 2014, there was a big debate between Ken Ham, of Answers in Genesis, and Bill Nye the Science Guy. Y'all remember him? I do. I used to watch him all the time. I thought he was great. It was unbelievable how Bill Nye the Science Guy was just spouting lies. I mean, there is zero evidence for evolution. We'll get to that at the end here in a minute. Now, this evolutionist, Sir Arthur T. said, the law of Christ is incompatible with the law of evolution. First of all, there is no law of evolution. He said, nay, the two laws are at war with each other. They want you to believe that these are two equal competing worldviews. One based on science and one based on whatever. That's their view. Well, we are in a war. And one thing you'll learn if you're in a war, if you can't shoot, you can at least carry bullets. There's something for every one of us to do. They want to make you think that religion and science are in a big debate. If you're a religious person, then you're not very smart. You don't understand modern science. They keep trying to say that we Christians are just dumb. We just don't understand anything. It's science versus religion. That's a lie. Time magazine says the same thing. God versus science. It's not this big of a debate. Adolf Hitler said, if you tell a lie long enough and loud enough and often enough, the people will believe it. Evolution is a big, big lie. Now, there are a lot of good science books. I've got an old stack of them at home. A lot of them from Denton and Wim Rose and Bismarck and Gillespie Academy. Books from around here. Science books and biology books. In this Merrill first grade science book, it says, Earth has changed much since its formation four and a half billion years ago. By the way, they're up over 15 billion years now because they found out that evolution is going to take more time than they wanted, so they keep increasing the age of the Earth. It's way on up there now. Earth has changed since these times. And then when you get to the second grade, Merrill Science, it says, I'm sorry, I can't read that. Since its formation four and a half billion years ago, Earth has changed. And down at the bottom it says, Life, too, has evolved. Second grade. We're already talking about how life has evolved. The mother tells the kids, the mother tells the kids, listen to your teacher, right? So, are the kids going to believe that? Yeah, they're going to believe it. Mama said, listen to the teacher. The teacher knows what she's talking about. If you've got some input over what your children are getting at home, they're going to believe that, because the teacher told them. Ken Halm of Answers in Genesis said, He who defines wins. How are they getting away with this? Well, the definition of science in Webster's Dictionary is systematized knowledge derived from observation and study. You picture a scientist with his white lab coat on, and his clipboard, and he's going around, and he's studying, and he's measuring, and he's checking, and he's making notes, and from that, he derives some answers. That's what we think of. But they're changing the definition of science. Here's Kansas. They've changed the definition of science as the human activity of seeking natural explanations for what we observe in the world. Natural. We're only going to talk about natural. North Little Rock was in big trouble. I think that's back in 2014. They were in trouble for teaching creationism. That's what we're talking about tonight in their school. They're being sued by the ACLU. You've got to stop that. And they'll pretty well stop it. This came from Benton Honors Biology class in 2006. I don't know if y'all know Darryl Wolford or not, but his daughter's name is Ashley, and they sent her to the... She was homeschooled, but they sent her to public school for the last two years, I guess, for her to get some time making friends and whatever. First day in Honors Biology class, and Mr. Hillman was the teacher. He said, she's got written up at the top, commit to memory verbatim. He says, science is a way of looking at the universe and asking questions about the natural phenomenon. He said, we're not going to have any supernatural discussions in this class. I don't want to hear about God and what the Bible says and all that. That's supernatural. We're only going to look at the natural phenomenon. Answers to these questions are the results of scientific processes to methods used by scientists to evaluate life. That's what he's trying to say. That's right here. I don't know if that's still in the textbook. If you've got kids or grandkids going to public schools, look in their science books and their biology books and see what's in there. We're going to cover, tonight we're going to cover some, not all, but you're going to get the flavor. You need to look in there and you need to tell your kids, this is not right. So, what is evolution? If I were to ask you, what is evolution? What goes through your mind? What do you think? How many people think of evolution? Evolving continuously. Actually, if you're really hung up on evolution, you believe that we came from nothing. Now, in my definition of evolution, there's six parts to it. The first part is cosmic evolution. That's the origin of time, space, and matter. We've talked about that. God created time, space, and matter. So, if you're going to have a creation without God, you're going to have to account for time, space, and matter. They said, well, there was a big bomb. And you know, well, if you look at the formula for that, there was nothing multiplied by nobody and you get everything. That's not very scientific. If I told you, we were out here working on this church, building this church up, and we had a guy back up out front and dump a log of bricks out there, and we put some dynamite under it, and we set it off, and the bricks all fell down in the shape of a church. I said, well, we'll try it again. How many times would I have to do that to get a church? Never. Never. Never going to happen. Explosions don't create order. Explosions create disorder. But an explosion is what started it all. This violates the first law of thermodynamics. Matter, which says, and what we observe, here's what science observes, matter or energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can change forms from one form to another. But the total amount of energy in the universe remains constant all the time. If that is what we observe, then the theory of evolution is out the window. Because we started from nothing. And you can't create something from nothing unless you're God. Okay, let's say that it happened. There was a big giant explosion, and this junk exploded and we're all over the universe. And they say that in the original explosion, mostly hydrogen was created and a little bit of helium. So, if that is true, where did the other elements come from? We've got, I don't know, a periodic chart, how many elements are on it now. At one time it was 105. I think we're up close to 130 now. They're finding new stuff all the time. But where did all of these elements come from if there was just hydrogen? Scientifically, that is not possible. It can't happen. Yes, that's what they say happened. Then, let's say that nothing exploded and hydrogen somehow or another turned into all the other elements that there are. How did the stars and planets form? What caused these elements, some to form stars, some to form planets? How did that happen? No one knows. There's no science for that. No one can explain that. But that's what had to have happened. Stellar and planetary evolution. No one has ever seen a star form. Now, they say that they are, but they don't have any proof. They've never shown one being formed. Now, there are stars that die all the time. They leave behind a nova or a supernova. It'll last for years, maybe forever. It's a dead star. And they see one about every 30 years. They see a star die. And they say that there are enough dead stars that they can see for about 9,000 years. Let's say that nothing exploded and chemicals formed and planets and stars formed. What about life? How did life get started on these lifeless planets? I guess we'll save that for right now. No one knows the story. How did that happen? How did we get life from non-living materials? Well, there's a law. Now, this is what we observe again. The scientists with the rabbit hooks and the clipboards. They go out and they check things out and they say, you know what? We've got a law. The law of biogenesis says life only comes from life. That's what they observe. No way has anyone figured out how you get life from non-living materials. Look, that's what has to happen. Science says it can't happen. We're violating our own science laws. Then there had to be macroevolution. That's changing from one kind to another kind. That's not very scientific. Here's an example. Birds are the descendants of dinosaurs. That hummingbird that I've been watching all day? It's great, great, great, great, great grandfather was a dinosaur. Does that make sense? They said bird feathers evolved from the scales that protected the dinosaurs away. That's how it happened. No one knows how that happened. But that's right. Nothing exploded and the chemicals formed and the planets and the stars formed and life somehow or another formed and started changing from one kind into another. Then we get to the last one which is macroevolution which is not really evolution. It's a variation within a time. Now this one we do observe. We do see variations in time. That's scientific. It's observed and it's actually scripture. Here's what they want you to believe. That because we have over 500 kinds of dogs they're calling that evolution. If they can get you to agree that all these dogs are evolving from one kind of dog to another kind of dog then all the rest of it happens. It can't go wrong. See, they proved evolution. The old bait and switch thing. There are over 500 different kinds of dogs. And you know what they all have in common? They're all dogs. There's big dogs and little dogs. There's brown dogs and there's black dogs. The dog, the wolf and the cow probably had a common ancestor. It was a wolf type dog. I think it was in New Orleans a few years ago. They had some problems with floods or whatever it was but they were letting the dogs run wild. And after a few years the dogs were starting to revert back to a cow type dog. My neighbor has a dog that's part cow and part dog. I don't know if it's a cow or a dog. But they will interbreed. They are the same kind. Now, I don't have any little bitty kids here tonight but in our past I've asked some of the kids I've got a dog, a wolf, a cow and a banana. Which one's not like the other? They did it every time. Even a child can tell you. The banana is not the same kind. This article from BBC News says I can't read that. I've got it on here. This article says that all dogs evolved from just three founding female dogs in China about 15,000 years ago. First of all, they did not evolve. They were a variation. A variation of the dog now. This is exactly what the Bible says. Ten times in the first chapter of Genesis God went to the trouble to tell us that he made things to produce after their time. The fruit trees after their time. The living creatures after their time. If you plant watermelon seeds you're not going to get tomatoes. You're going to get watermelons. Most of the time. So, that's what we see. So, what is the evidence that they're giving our kids in our textbooks? Let's look into the textbooks. First, let me say there is no evidence. There is no theory or any science that supports the Big Bang. Now, it creates some problems and things that I do not understand. They're called background radiation, inflation theory, flatness problems, spring theory, dark matter, anti-matter, and parallel universes. I've already looked at it for a week. She really helped me out on something from an electrical standpoint. Second, there is no evidence or science to support how life started on earth. There is a belief that life started in some of the ancient oceans from some type of pond scum or sewage. However, there is no science to back this up. Swirling in the waters of the, I can't read that, ancient oceans. Yeah. There's a brothel of complex chemicals. Don't you just see this in the early oceans? Boop, boop, boop. Progress from a complex chemical soup to a living organism is very slow. You know how slow it is? It doesn't happen. That's in the textbook. That's what they're teaching our kids. Another part I'll talk about in another session about it rained on the earth for millions of years and the water ran off the earth and the oceans bring in all these chemicals and all of a sudden we get this rubbing brothel complex soup and life just kind of melts. Nothing to it. Scientists will even admit that they don't know. This guy says nobody knows how a mixture of lifeless chemicals spontaneously organize themselves into the first living thing. We don't have any idea. So, we've got to look somewhere else. Search is now on for how life began on earth. Here's the deal. What's the most complex scientific mystery? How did life begin on earth? That is still a mystery. The multi-million dollar undertaking of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland brings together and includes interdisciplinary scientists from around the world to study how, not if, how organic molecules are created at interstellar levels and delivered to the planet. I've got this theory that life starts out in outer space and maybe in the tail of a comet. You know, comets have got water. They're ice. Well, if you can find water anywhere, you've got life, I mean. That's why they're looking for water on Mars and on the moon. They've got it figured out. If you can add water to anything, you get life. Anyway. There's a new theory that SARS virus, remember Ed a few years ago, that it started in outer space. They believe that the SARS virus may have originated in outer space and fallen down to Earth and landed in China. Not right within. China sure is good though, son. Maybe this COVID comes from a comet. They even got a name for it. They call it panspermia, whatever that means. Now, if you will look at this and listen, find that when they first put this Mars rover on Mars, they said, we are looking for answers to the origin of life on Earth and the origin of the universe. That's what they're looking for. They've got to find some way to show how this creation came into existence without a God. And that's why they were looking so hard to find water on Mars. They were saying, if we could just find some water up here, then we'll have a shot at finding life. And the theory is, there was a rock found, I think around the South Pole, years back, called the Mars rock. They said it came from Mars. This was setting up the theory that life at one time started on Mars, was hit by a comet, blew some rocks off, and they fell to Earth and life started on Mars. They're going crazy trying to figure out how do you get a creation without a Creator? That's what it's all about. And they're not above using false evidence either. This is what's called a Piltdown Man. In a class on cavemen, I talk about this some more. In 1912, Charles Dawson, who lived in Piltdown, England, had a gravity pit there. He and a French priest named Pierre Deschordes, they took a human skull and an ape's jawbone and they filed them down, make them fit together real good. They treated them with some acid to make them look old and then they buried them in the gravel pit. And all of a sudden, wow, look what we found and dug up in our gravel pit. We have evidence here of an ape man, a transition between ape and man. It's called a Piltdown Man. It was in the magazine. There were over 500 papers written on this for 40 years. It wasn't until 1952 that they discovered that this was a whole thing or they'd faked the whole thing. But, during the trial of the century, back in 1925, it was called the Scots Monkey Trial. It's where they were trying to get enough evidence to support teaching evolution into schools. They were wanting to put it into the textbooks and they had to have some evidence. The Piltdown Man was used as evidence of evolution. They didn't know at the time it was a fraud and a fake. But we know now that the Piltdown Man was a fake, a fraud and the Neanderthal Man that you hear so much about was just an old human. Probably lived not too long after the flood. We talked about lifespan in another class. People used to live a lot longer right after the flood. Anyway, so let's look into the textbooks. Oh, here's another slide. Scientists unveiled a missing egg that's called an archaeoraptor. It's a fossil that they found was part dinosaur and part bird. Even National Geographic's got in on it. Breaking news! They found this archaeoraptor evidence of evolution. That was in 1999. In 2000, oops, it's a fake. It's a fake. No evidence. Really want to do a little bit of this. Anybody got a roast in there? I just want to cover this. Evidence for evolution. Natural selection. Evolution is based on two faulty assumptions. One, a mutation will make something new and natural selection will make it survive and take over the population. So evolution is based on a religion of death, not life. When you think of a mutant, what do you think of? Not something better? Did something deform? I don't know. Not right? Natural selection will take care of that. It will take it out. We thought of it first. It's a conservative process that allows nature to take the mutants out. So that's the technical college. Two principles lie at the core of this. I'm going to understand in participation. I'm going to understand in participation and so is a secondary evolutionary principle, natural selection. So something better will be mutated and natural selection will make it survive. That's what I mean. There are no mutations. It's a lie. No matter how numerous they may be, mutations do not produce any kind of evolution. They can rearrange existing information, but they cannot increase genetic complexity. Here is a five-legged cat. Now it had the information to make a leg. It had made a mistake. It made an extra leg. It's a mutant. The leg, by the way, didn't work. It wasn't hooked up to the muscles and stuff, right? So it's a mutant, but that's not a beneficial mutation. Now if a cow had wings, then that would be something different, wouldn't it? Can you imagine trying to keep your cows in the pasture if they had wings? At the cliff, I'd like to do chickens. Here's a short-legged sheep. No new information, that is. Just a loss of information. When the wolf comes into the sheep herd, Herman's going to be the first one that gets caught. That's the end of that. End of that lie. Here's a two-headed turtle. Now it's two-headed. It's mutant, but it's not ninja. And this turtle is going to die the first one because nobody makes a double-necked urban eggsweller. So they're not going to make it. From the letters in Christmas, you can get abs, back, fam, prime, ram, fat, hip, but you can't get xerox, zebra, or queen. The letters are not there. The letters are just not there. This is a good one here. It says, normal quick flies have two wings. This mutant has four. And by the way, it can't fly. Those wings don't work. But here's a fly born with four wings. It says, mutant has four. This rare mutation, like most mutations, is harmful. Little mutations are the raw material for natural selection. Because duh, why didn't they show one? We're going to talk about beneficial mutations, but I'm going to show you. Okay. There's not any. They don't have any to show. I'll talk about it first. It's an only conservative process. It's only a conservative process that removes defective organisms and keeps them species. That's what natural selection is. Now here is a, we'll call it a forward plant, and they're producing cars. And they have a system that they drive the car off the assembly line and they got a guy that goes around and he kicks the tires and raises the hood and starts it up and drives it around and if everything's okay, he lets it go on through. But if something's not working right, he takes it out. They take it out. That's natural selection. They send it back through or fix it or whatever, but that's how natural selection works. It takes out the defective part. How long, using this process, is it going to take that factory to produce an airplane? It's never going to produce an airplane. It doesn't have the parts. It doesn't have the parts. They took some fruit flies and they microwaved them and nuked them and did everything they could to try to make a mutation, a beneficial mutation. And they made all sorts of mutations. They made a fly with pearly wings and it flew in a circle. They made another fly without wings. What do you call a fly that can't fly? You call it a frog, I guess. I'm not going to start into this next section because it's going to take a lot more time. In fact, there's another five and a half hours down the road that y'all get the gist of what's in our textbooks and parents need to have some idea that this is not right. They need to be able to tell their kids that this is not right. We did three nights of this with the youth at first. Okay, Darby, you still awake? I've got another song. And y'all are going, this is my favorite song. And I want you to think of the happiest day of your life and see if this is it. Feel free to chime in. Feel free to chime in. Feel free to chime in. Feel free to chime in. Feel free to chime in. Feel free to chime in. Feel free to chime in. Feel free to chime in. I feel just like the sunshine on a beautiful day. I'm excited like a runner who has finished in first place. I'm happy as a puppy dog that's chewed on a shoe. And I can't wait to share the reason. Jesus became mine today. My Savior has washed my sins away. My names and the Lamb spoke alive as I sang. Jesus became mine today. I'm happy as a child when the circus comes to town. I'm soaring like a kite and don't want to come down. While ponies couldn't hold me back from telling you this news, boys and girls of all ages, Jesus wants to save you too. Jesus became mine today. My Savior has washed my sins away. My names and the Lamb spoke alive as I sang. Jesus became mine today. Sunday's and a chocolate candy store could never be as sweet as my joy for the Lord. Boys and girls, ask Jesus Christ, the Savior, so today. It's not by chance that you are listening to these words I say. Jesus became mine today. My Savior has washed my sins away.
