The transcription discusses various beauty topics, including a visit to Brightwood Skin for a diamond facial, Dr. Idris' Major Fade Active Seal targeting hyperpigmentation, and a unique nail art trend inspired by Phoebe Philo's manicure. Additionally, it mentions purchasing items from COS and a delayed delivery of a leather jacket from Essence due to bankruptcy issues. The conversation also touches on accidental Botox injections and plans for future beauty and fashion discussions. Hello, everyone. Hi. Kelly? Yes? Are you feeling beautiful? You know what? Yeah? I don't like to brag, but yes, I am. You are? Is it because you got stuff sucked out of your face? I got so much stuff sucked out of my face and scraped off my face. In fact, I even saw it in a little bottle. Tell us all about it, please. I went to this place, Vias V.C., for the free mini Diamondfish show. And it was blue titans, and the water was clear, and she sucked and scraped and sucked and scraped, and then I saw the stuff that came out. And my skin has never been smoother. I don't even know what magic it was. Well, it is a place called The Brightwood Skin, and I believe they're only in the tri-state area right now. I'm not 100% sure. I went to one on the Upper East Side. There may be others. Maybe. New Jersey, Brooklyn, but that's still true. Some of that. Yes. So they have this thing, their signature diamond facial. And I don't know what it has to do with diamonds. I'll ask when I'm there again on Monday. I need a little diamond chips on the top. Oh, mine didn't tell me that, but whatever. OK, so basically they take a wand, which is like a vacuum for your skin, and they go over and over and over and over your skin. And they suck everything out of every single pore until your skin is like glass. I mean, it is truly incredible. And I was very lucky. They offered me the service for free, which is why I am going back and paying my money for the full shebang. I would do that. It was like a mini session. I got mine free, too. But it was great. It was great. The Brightwood Skin cannot recommend enough, and I have the feeling I'll be spending a lot of dinero there. Um, OK. Well worth it. Moving right along, more skin care for fall. I've been reading a lot about this Dr. Idris. Idris? Because I love Idris Elba, I thought maybe it was Idris. That's fine. It might not be Idris. I have one product of hers. Tell me about this one. OK, well, this is called the Major Fade Active Seal. And it's like a vitamin C for night and day, which is confusing to me. But yeah, she's got this whole line. Her whole line is targeting hyperpigmentation and like the little spots, the little melasma spots that you get, sun damage, all of those things. And I think these have pretty potent ingredients that are actually very effective. To fade the? Yeah. A lot of people have had a lot of success with this line. I don't have a ton of hyperpigmentation, but I do have this one spot right here. Everybody. I have one, too. I don't know if you can see it. I don't know if you can either. Well, maybe they don't want you to see. It's kind of gross. Well, mine is here. It's so small. And it's bugging me. It's been bugging me. And then I have a few right here, too. Yeah, bugging me. OK, yeah, whatever bugs you, get rid of it. Yeah, so I bought this. And this better deliver. I will be reporting back. I am sort of moving into my fall routine, right? Speaking of fall, we're burying the lead. Oh, god. We're burying the lead. OK, listen, I did. Get ready. I love my nails because I go to this incredible nail artist. I don't do nail art, but I do, you know, fun things with color or whatever. And I don't have super long nails. I don't have acrylics, whatever. But OK, I, like everyone else, saw this ad for Phoebe Philo for the fall collection. And it was a famous filmmaker. And she's got her hands clasped. And her manicure broke the internet. Like, I cannot even tell you how many articles, how many Instagram posts. And you know what? I'm just like, I'm going to get on that bandwagon. And I sent the ad to my nail artist, Nick. Slick Nick. Slick Nick. We'll link to her, because she's amazing. And she delivered the most beautiful version of it I've ever seen. I know the people. OK, hold on. Here, here, here. You can't tell. I feel like you can't tell on the video. Well, we'll take some pictures. We'll take some pictures. It's not doing it justice. Hi. In life, it's giving me life. I think it's so outstanding. It's just so elegant. So it's a different color on every finger. But each fingernail has a different application on it. So some are cat eye, some are jelly, some are hard gel. And it just comes out so beautifully. They're all very muted fall tones. And if I could have a wardrobe with these colors, I would be happy. Do you remember when you were little, and you used to be like, I'm going to paint one pink, and I'm going to paint one purple, and I'm going to go crazy. Yes. One might have glitter on it. Yes. I used to do a little gold glue-on nail in high school. Damn. Did you ever do that? No. No, you should not. It's terrible. But this is beyond, beyond, beyond, beyond. Just like, I can't. Again, you can't really get the full shebang. So like I said, there was an article in the New York Times and Vogue, and we'll link to those, so you can see for yourself, and then you can go to your nail person if you do not live in New York. But if you do live in New York, you should absolutely go to Nick. OK. And it lasts forever. These manicures last forever. Oh, yeah. This is going to last five or six weeks. 100%. No shipping, no nothing. It's crazy. It is crazy. Crazy. So I think that's it for me for beauty. I have a couple fashion things. Do you have anything else for beauty? I don't want to hear about it. Well, your nails are nice, too. What color is that? Yeah, they're due to be done. I'm not really sure what the name of it is, but I do. It's didn't fall. It is didn't fall. I do have a wonderful nail tech. Her name is Pook, but her place is in the paint. I love that Brightwood place. And while I was there, I accidentally got Botox. Oh, yeah? Yeah. It was purely by accident. Well, we were talking about some things, and I don't get it on the regs, but I have under eye bags that really bother me and should put a little bit under here. When did you get it done? So this would have been two weeks ago. OK. No, I think it's a week ago. I've never had it right here in my 11s. I think your tox is looking really good. I really do like to furrow my brow and let people know what I'm feeling inside. It's still furrowed. It's just not creased. It's not. When I try to make a mad face, my nose gets closed. Anyway, that being said. I can do it a little bit. Oh, yeah. Maybe it'll relax a little bit. It will. Because I've got some time, right? It will. Yes. Yes, yes. OK. It will. Thank you. That's really it for me. I have two fall fashion things that I'm very excited about. OK. Number one, don't sleep on cause. Do you know what cause is? C-O-S, not C-A-U-S-E. Well, all of these things, I pretty much know because of you, because I've told you before, Stacey is a style guru, that I do know what cause is. OK. Well, I have been sleeping on cause for a long time. I mean, I have a couple things here and there, but it's not like, I feel like you read about it, you see it, it's in your sub stack, it's on your Instagram, it's on your TikTok, and then I feel like I go there and it's never that great. OK. OK. Yesterday, I went there because I was downtown for an appointment, and I was like, wow, this is great. This is really high quality. Yeah, I went in and I bought this blue satin tote that's really cute. It's very row coded, and I bought this oatmeal, oversized, turtleneck. It's like a cashmere blend, but it was not expensive. It was like $129 or something like that. And it was friends and family. Are you a friend and a family? Yes, because they told me I was when I was checking out. I would have known. I know. So anyway, I got those two things, and I'm excited to see how they hold up. I hope they're not crap, but I don't think they're going to be, because a lot of people really love that place. I've seen some pretty nice things, not in the store, but online. Yeah. And then finally, she was held up in customs. She was. It was so sad. It was. But you know what? You didn't actually need it before now. That's true. It was too hot. She was ordered from a place that we're probably all mourning called Essence, the sort of Canadian matches fashion, if you will. I'm already mourning it, and I just found out about this morning. They, too, declared bankruptcy. I don't know what that means for them, but I'll tell you what it meant for my Nour Amour Dre chocolate leather jacket. It meant that she sat in customs in Memphis, Tennessee. Do you know that's where customs is? All customs? I don't know. Seems like an odd place to be. FedEx Customs, I don't look into that. Oh, yeah, because it's Memphis. That's where FedEx is. Oh, who knew? I did, from Castaway. Oh, OK. Found out it was based in Memphis. I didn't know. All right, well, anyway, I was like, Memphis? What? Anyway, so she sat there for weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks and did not move. And apparently, a lot of people experience this problem with Essence, because since they're bankrupt, they shoved a lot of things on one pallet, and they were like, here you go, go through it, take your time. Yeah. And with all of these new tariffs and all of these new regulations on what's coming into the US and from where. Was everybody confused? I think people were fucking confused. And I don't blame them. So anyway, four, five, six weeks later, she arrived yesterday, and let me tell you, she's beautiful. Dre is the name of the style. I will link to it. I will put a photo of myself wearing it. And she's beautiful. You can bury me in it. And I'm sure there's something better. But I hear what you're saying. Yes. No. If I died tomorrow, you could bury me. OK. OK, I'll make a note of that. But if I die later, put me on something better that I found. We'll figure it out. We've got time. OK. And I think that's it. I think that's it. I mean, the nails were the star of the show. Well, they were. However, I think next week, we are going to do a bigger beauty, fashion, fall focus. Yes. And we're very excited to talk about things with you guys. Also, message us. Message us and tell us what you want to hear us saying. We would love that. Yeah, we love that. We love hearing from you. So thanks again for listening. This was MMOTW. Bye.
