The 262-year-old pub, located in the east of Leeds, has become a hotspot for crime since its closure in 2021. A public consultation on the plans will run until 14th October. Community centres are supporting people all over Leeds who have nowhere else to turn, but rising costs and low funding is making their great work hard to complete. Abdul Hanan runs the Cardigan Road Community Centre and spoke about how more needs to come from local authorities to support the work being done.
