In terms of caring, I mean, do they kind of... sort of rely on their feet, or are they training their own? No, I mean, they can't get enough. They don't get enough. I mean, they aren't enough. Training is very expensive. Even out there where people live from rice and dhal, you know, and not much else, they can't afford. And also the people with strong dharma connections and dharma karma don't seem to get born in the Tibetan culture anymore. They seem to get born here. Yeah. Yes, young man. I think they see us as barbaric. They see us as barbaric, but they also are beginning to understand our qualities. And one of our main qualities is that we are very honest, you know, which is... Another one is that we are very, very, very romantic, sentimental, and what's the third thing there, you know? Yeah, emotional, right? I mean, that's really what we are. We really are. I mean, the same way that you're still expecting Christians to have white shirts all the time, like we're doing over here, you know, and stuff like that. The same way, you know, they are... You know, we are also expecting priests to live a rather unworldly life and so on, right? And, I mean, that they think... That they don't really know what to say about because... They're much more practical. They're really a lot more practical. The whole way they live, they're much more practical. They don't go up and down about these things as much as we do, you know. They're just low-tone and straight and so on and work with what they want. I think he says that... I hope it's not true. He says that every time the Tibetans make a lot of politics. Then he says, I'll be the last Dalai Lama. Then they forget Biden and come running. And then he says, you know, if you do a hundred million dollars or... Then I'll go on, you know, and stuff like that. It's all the time. But a Dalai Lama is, I mean, it takes a certain thing for a Dalai Lama. I think the Dalai Lama will probably be reincarnated. But whether he'll reincarnate as a Dalai Lama, you know, is the question. We will also just have a certain amount, I mean, there'll just be 21 Karmapas who will be functioning as Karmapas. And after that, you can't function anymore. Well, then he'll be reborn as a yogi or whatever. Yeah, yeah. I mean, like that, he'll go on reincarnating. But the world will just be permitting, will just permit that kind of setting. I mean, a Karmapa setting. A Karmapa is a role, it's a setting, it's a field of consciousness. And that field of consciousness will just be allowed for a certain while, you know. Then we'll have thought control or whatever else, you know. I mean, it won't work anymore. You can't do it anymore. So it's like that. I mean, that's also one of the reasons for practicing this thing, is that we can't know how much chance we have. I mean, we don't know how long our bodies last, you know. We'll have to be quite generous in order to get reborn in the West again. You know, with nine out of ten kids getting born in the poor parts of the world this time, you know. And getting born in a nice place like North America or North Europe, it will be difficult next time, you know. I mean, it'll be really difficult. There'll be a much greater chance to go somewhere else. And stuff like that, where one doesn't have the opportunities that we have now. So, I mean, it's very reasonable to pull ourselves together and use our lives and do the best that we can. Thank you. Yeah, that's also what I... Now, we heard that there was a rumor that came out. I heard it in Nepal. I don't know if you heard it here. That Trungpa, before dying, he said that he would come back as an ordinary man. He was tired of the Bodhisattva work and he would be reborn in Japan. Have you heard that? No. They have made Kalarimpa. She made a long last prayer for him. No, a quick return prayer. Go to Japan and get him off the conveyor belt of Sony. Yeah, they do. Japan is the place, you know. I've been there a couple of times teaching. Japan is not it. Kalarimpaji came there. Yeah, that's because it's in here, it's not in there. I mean, I was in Japan and I managed to give rituals to the whole Mexican Embassy. I was invited by the ambassador. They were all running around with sombreros and saying, Come and get to know me. So, that's how it works there. That's all I could do there. That was very funny. Yeah, yeah, I have to tell. I remember the color of the lion. I remember the gesture. I remember... What else was there? I remember the heart. What else was there? Then it was that one with the man's shirt. No, no, that one. So, I mean, see the remedy being right after and in the lineage, why not? Why not? A friend of mine called Bill from Birmingham. He took it and he's a professional photographer so he really freaked out. He was really amazed because he didn't want to stay, you know. Because he took that picture, you know, and he went home. And then, I mean, he's a professional photographer. He imagined the nice ordinary picture there. And then he came home and he had that one. And you should see the original one. No, no. No, it hadn't happened in his vision. It's happened in my vision before. I tell you, when they come up and put on the black crown, very often, everything disappeared in red and orange light and only the crown was there. I've seen that often. I was sitting, you know, like an autobahn of energy, like a train of energy, you know. Inside the body, just sitting there trying to hold yourself so you wouldn't, you know, fly off or anything like that. Really trying to. I've seen that many times. Some, you know, stuff like that. I've seen it often. I've seen him transparent or too many things. I wasn't amazed in the end. And there was also another picture, which is a Canadian lady took of him down in Delhi. And she had a Polaroid camera, which makes it even more interesting. Because there you can't click twice or anything like that. And, you know, she had a Polaroid camera and she photographed him and out came the thing and she looked at a tanker she'd never seen before. Actually, a Mahakala, a Union tanker. And then she said, what's that? And they come up and said, oh, the others photograph my body, you photograph my mind, he said. And then he laughed. But he, he, he signatured, he made copies and he made signatures on two of the pictures and sent them to Hannah and me. And one of them is in our altar in Copenhagen, up there in, in, in a Gau, you know, standing on the altar. There's a picture there with a black and white triangular, triangular tanker with, with Mahakala Patanlamu inside. And the other one is in Hannah's, my bed downstairs, you know, where all the, where our Gaus are. We have, we have them still. And they are, you know, they are amazing. He, he wrote, and he wrote his own autograph clear over it and sent it to us. Which is unusual. Yeah. I advise you to learn it as simple, as slow, as, as late as possible. There is no benefit for a mole. There is a certain amount of fallouts where you are unclear and where you make a mistake and, you know, one bad mole can destroy a hundred good ones. Mole are the divinations that I make. Right? I tell you, I first had a quite simple mole which could only say yes and no. And I used that for a few years until I was given by Tenga Rinpoche, who is a Vastra master, you know, the Vastra teacher of, of, of room tech and the, actually the tantric teachers of all the high tulkus we have, you know, Siddhupa and all the others. This one, he taught me a mole that can do four things. It can say very good, very bad, positive and neutral, don't do. Like neutral, fading, you know, not good. And that's what I'm doing now. And as far as I can see, I'm by the bull's eye nearly every time. As far as I can see. But there is, you know, there is a factor of insecurity and there's also, you have to have a certain standing yourself. I mean, you have to have a certain power yourself. Because you have to be able, if people come and say to you, you're married on a Sunday or a Tuesday, you have to be able to say, listen, I won't ask the Buddha about that. You know, you know, look at something else. I mean, you have to have the integrity of, people have to have the trust that you know, this is not really important, you know, and listen, you know, I won't do that and so on. And you also, you know, I mean, today I had a life and death question. You know, somebody's asking about a woman on chemotherapy, what to do back in Germany. You know, when I do one of those, I'd say, I'd say, gee. Or asking, you know, will this one live or won't they? Or how should it be western or eastern medicine? Stuff like that. And I tell you, you know, it's exciting, but it's, when you hear that it worked out, then you're happy, you know, but, you know, it keeps, it stays as a weight on you. You're actually, through doing the Mo, you're actually involving yourself. I mean, there is a drain. I mean, you're wisdom-lazy and you have a deep mind and so on. But I still, I'd advise you, learn it as late as possible. I'll tell you, a lot of the Lamas simply do it for a while and then the wind goes out and they stop doing it. They really, they just stop doing it. And there was, there were some cases in Tibet, one Lama, he was being asked in the Tibetan if the Chinese would come to their village. He said no, and a week after the Chinese were there and slaughtered everybody. He is not touching a mala again. He's saying no, thank you, no. So it's like, you know, I mean, as long as you feel the energy with you and so on, and you have that kind of karma to spend and give and so on, and okay then, but, you know, it's not something to look for, learn. It really isn't. I'd rather use my good horse thing. Also, when you're really emotionally involved, you can't trust the Mo so well, because there will have a tendency to go over. That means you have to go to a state where you're more or less beyond your involvement, right? You'll have to go to a kind of unpersonal place inside, right? To a kind of space there, open space there, and then you'll do the Mo, and then you'll get the results. But if there's something in the back of your head, oh, I hope this will happen. It may color it also. I mean, so it's a question of when your fingers hit. It's that moment of truth when your fingers hit, right? That's when it actually happens. Then you calm, you know, like that, and then you come out, and hopefully it's a good result, right? How can you help somebody that's going to die? How can you help people? Is there any way without involving them that you can give them a blessing? Well... Well, I'll leave you with some methods, something to use here. I mean, by the time we leave, you will know something, and you will have something to use. But generally... Is that corporate? Generally, you know, if you look at it, we have had to make in the West, actually I made it myself, a kind of graded approach of helping people who aren't willing and who don't know the Dharma and everything else. And I've decided, you know, we have three main target groups, you know, that we can maybe help. We have the people who are like Christians, or something like that. I mean, you have more of them here than we have in Europe, right? We're stronger in the faith here, but you have Christians. We also have Christians there. And if people are Christians, the best thing you can do is just confirm everything that they are confident in. Say, I'm sure Jesus has made a nice paradise with quadraphonic sound for you, or whatever else you like, you know, and stuff like that, you know, with everything you like. I mean, just convince them, I'm sure he's created an energy field you can rely on, which will be there. You open yourself to it. Space and energy is inseparable. Where you think of him, he'll be there, and stuff like that. I mean, I would try to convince them. I mean, deathbed is not the place to learn new tricks, you know. It really is not. It's not the place to change one's thinking. From the depth of people's consciousness, a wish to change comes, you know, and they articulate it. In six months. Yeah, but confirm them in what they want to be confirmed in. Yeah, do that. I mean, don't do much else than that. Confirm them in that, and then if they start saying, what are the Buddhists saying about that? Then say things that are somehow compared to Christianity, which doesn't blow them into a token crisis of identity or questions or something like that. Ultimately, the older people are the less you should disturb them, right? With new views. Young people, you should stick around. Old dogs, you should let sleep a bit, you know. I mean, they are a bit under the Monumental Preservation Act or something like that, you know. I mean, it's something I'm telling you for your parents' sake, you know. Don't come home and try to make them Buddhists or anything like that. They live 70 years the way they are, you know, only if they want to learn and teach them otherwise they're fine. OK. Maybe it's a bit more for Europe than for America, what I'm saying here, because in Europe, until a few years ago, we did have those rigid societies, and we did have, you know, well, we have the habit of blowing up everything in a major war every 20 years, you know. So, a lot of the time we spent building up, you know, what we were just building up again, what we just blew up and then getting ready for the next bomb, you know. So, Europe only really became conscious about these things like that, while we were having more things, you know. We've had a more easy time, more mixed culture, more in-house administrations and so on. But anyway, you know, generally, I mean, in Europe, if people lived in a closed society and a fixed world with a certain people, don't disturb it in the end. Over here, look at people's tolerance. Look at how much space they can take and what you have to start protecting them. And, I mean, really say that you're true, that you're sure that they're doing well, and wish them everything good and Jesus is there and everything like that. And if somebody comes who is mainly a materialist, you know, somebody thinking my car is real and my everything else is real, you know, and stuff like that, then tell them that they should concentrate on the nicest and most wonderful thing they can even think of on the top of their head, above the top of their head. Because that will direct their energy upwards and it will mean that they'll have a chance to leave by their nostrils or by the top of their head or something like that, which means that the mind will be charged with very positive impressions, which means that they will have good rebirths. So, for materialists, do that. So, from the bottom you feel that the material energy is coming out? That's excellent, you know, if the body gets cold from the bottom and up, that's a good sign. You know, the bottom gets cold first, and if it's, you know, and if it's a kind of energy, some pus coming out of the nose or some blood on the top of the head, of course, blood on the top of the head is best, you know, from loose hair or something like that. That's the best if the mind burns out like that. That's actually what I'll be teaching probably a couple of hundred people the first ten days in September. It'll be the biggest, most intensive thing I've done in my life in Europe. I'll be teaching Powa, you know, sending out the mind. Hannah just called and said I should make prayers that she can come and be part of it, and she won't have to translate the Jumping Kong program during that time, you know. But anyway, oh no, it wasn't that time, it was even later. Oh, this is time in Spain. I'm really looking forward to that. Yeah, I have to really make wishes for that. Because Tina is probably translating for somebody called Stanley Kubrick some filmmaker. Some filmmaker. Kubrick or Cooley or something. No, he's in Tibet. And you say the Buddha is on the top of your head. And, uh, he's everything you ever wanted and loved and liked. And you said, and now you think that your own, that your heart, that there is a channel through the center of your body. Inside the channel is a small rainbow ball. And then the Buddha is sitting there and every time I say, HIT! Your mind jumps up in his heart and KA! It comes down again. And then you just teach him, you know, for the process of death he doesn't pull anything down again. You know, but he goes on creating. HIT! HIT! HIT! In his mind. He actually goes. There are many ways, you know, many things you can do. But this HIT one, one jump, HIT one, is, is, is quite useful. And why do the monks use pain? They, they, just some of them. And the pain you use afterwards. We use pain for spreading the consciousness through, not in the Nientic tradition, then it's another one. We use it for, for spreading the consciousness. Once the Buddha has gone, once the mind has gone to a pure land, you know, then, then, then it all happens. But Carl is pregnant with his top Buddha, you know, and we shouldn't let him wait any longer. Yeah, and we should also go down, right? And we have to commit to this. So, OK, you are in Carl's noble strong hands, you know, and he'll guide you to a top Buddha. What I just did for you was, what I just did was to make a lot of small chinrises, chinrises for you. And now that Dorje taught the Buddha, then it was very auspicious for you to also, to get these, you know, it's sort of the beginning of your practice. It's also a very special chinrise, I mean, at least to Hanna and me, it's special because we saw it, there was a great exhibition of Buddha Tantras in, when was it, it was in, now in 69, already in 69, on Swayambhu, where the Karmapayas and the Shamapayas main center in, in, what's it called, Nepal is situated. There, there was a really great exhibition in 69, when Hanna and I were there, on Buddha's birthday, which is somewhere in, and Enlightenment Day actually, it was birth and Enlightenment Day, everything at the same time. It was a full moon in the fourth month, I think it must have been June, or something like that. Because they start their year, you know, they have a lunar calendar, they don't have a yearly calendar, just as we have, they don't, their calendar doesn't follow the sun just as ours does, it follows the moon instead. So there sometime probably in the ending of May or beginning of June when we were out there, there was a big exhibition of Tantras up on Swayambhu, on the Swayambhu hill there. And, I remember we just walked past all the Tantras looking a little bit right and left. And suddenly, I just looked at one of them and I couldn't stop. I just, I had half walked past it when my head was pulled over and I just looked. And I looked at the Chinrisi and it became red in the face. I tell you, it became like, when I get blessings from statues and Tantras and so on, I mean, sometimes some of them are really charged, like we have some, one in North Germany in Hamburg and some other ones that are really intensively charged. I mean, very, very, very strongly blessed and intensively blessed. Often, there are also the different Buddhas which protect a certain region and take care of it. And there, when I walked past this one, my head just turned round and I looked at him and I had the same effect that I have with other things that are blessed. The face started coming out, you know, the face started coming out of the Tantra and there was, it turned red, you know, it became reddish and it became pink, you know, it came out, it really came out to me like that, it looked like you. I tell you now, it was exceedingly, you know, it was really, and I just turned around and I just said, this one, you know, I couldn't, you know, we didn't know where to buy it or if it could be bought and we probably couldn't, so I just photographed it. I didn't think of it for quite a while, I had no idea it was Chinrishi or anything, I had no idea at all, it just was among a lot of different pictures. And then when the Kalarimputji and Tantra and the others started coming to the West, after we'd been out, then, when they looked at this, you know, they didn't like it. I mean, Kalarimputji's, the Lamas Kalarimputji had along, didn't like it because it is not totally traditional, the hat looks a bit funny compared to what they're supposed to look like, you know, the paint that has been free style and the fact that the aura is transparent and so on isn't in either, you know, I mean, it's just something they started doing now, 20 years after, you know, they're just starting to do things like that now. So this is very modern. Yeah, it's exceedingly modern, you know, but the Karmapa, when he was here with us, he said, listen, he said, that is very, very good for devotion, this picture is excellent for devotion. And he also said that, you know, it didn't really matter with these little things, you know, that all the details weren't there and so on, wasn't so terribly important. And I mean, I get blessing from this picture, I still get, even when they are produced in dozens and dozens and scores, like here, you know, I still get blessing from it, so. Yeah, that's the picture I took at that time, sure. And it is, you know, it's mainly, it's compliments of our sentiment in Athens.
