In a moving and important program we remember... we tell the history and a personal story of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution when 69 years ago on October 23rd a peaceful demonstration turned into a revolution and ordinary citizens took up arms, courageously stood up to the Soviet Union and fought off Russian tanks, in a heroic effort to rid the country of Soviet occupation; and the story of one family who lived thru it, the Szabo family - my family.
